Buick Electra 225
The king of full-size Buicks in the middle to late 1960s was the Electra 225. At 18 feet, 8 inches long, the Electra was Buicks largest vehicle in 1965. The model year brought the same kind of redesign that characterized GM entire lineup that year, with the space-age, rocket-inspired lines of the Kennedy years being replaced by the hallmark coke-bottle styling of the muscle car era. Buick trademark ventiport holes in the fenders were now so stylized that they are easy to miss in cars from this era.
Buick offered the Electra a four-door sedan or hardtop, or as a two-door coupe or convertible. This one I have for sale is the 2 door coupe and it is in perfect condition. The power is delivered to the rear wheels through GMs standard Turbo-Hydramatic 400 three-speed automatic transmission. Engine is a 4 barrel 430-cid V-8 at 360 hp, which replaced both the 401 and 425 Nailhead engines. Call me or text me with any questions. 513-919-3428
Drive to the car show and win every time. Make me an offer or trade for something. This car is super nice and the mileage is around 42,000 miles. I just purchased this vehicle from a retired police officer who got it from his dad. The odometer is estimated around 42,000 based on the person who I bought it from. He said the odometer stopped working a few years ago but never had it fixed. Looking at the car I believe it really has the low miles on it. This vehicle is spotless and pictures do not show like in person does. Call me at 513-919-3428 with any question about this car and I will answer them the best I can. Posted with eBay Mobile

Experience the New York Auto Show by drone
Fri, Apr 10 2015The Autoblog team recently returned from wildly running around the Javits Center to cover all the news and debuts at the New York Auto Show. Sometimes, it's nice to take a more serene look at the exhibition floor, though, and the event's organizers are providing that exact opportunity by flying a drone through the hall. Combined with the down-tempo music, this clip feels like a form of automotive meditation. If you're going to miss the show in the Big Apple, the drone also provides a good overview at the exhibition floor, especially at the stands from Lexus, Buick, Dodge, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota and BMW. Plus, it's a fun way to see some vehicles from a completely different angle than they ever appear on the road. eBay Find of the Day: 1981 DeLorean with 570-hp twin-turbo Buick V6 [w/videos]
Mon, 23 Dec 2013"Are you telling me that you built a time machine... out of a DeLorean?" So asked one Marty McFly of his mentor Dr. Emmett Brown, who replied: "The way I see it, if you're gonna build a time machine into a car, why not do it with some style?"
Doc Brown was right, of course: with an exotic mid-engine layout, gullwing doors and stainless steel body, the DeLorean DMC-12 sure looked the part. It just needed a little more juice. Well this one might not have 1.21 gigawatts of time-bending power - that'd be more than one and a half million horsepower - but it does have more than the 150 hp in the the standard 2.8-liter V6.
That's because this particular DeLorean has had its stock Peugeot Renault Volvo engine swapped out for a Buick-sourced, all-aluminum, 4.3-liter V6 from the Grand National. Dutteiller Performance didn't leave the engine in stock form, either: while they were swapping it out, they added a pair of turbochargers, new pistons, crank, cams and much, much more.
