We have a very nice low mile Buick Century that we love but no longer need since we purchased a larger family car to throw baby needs and strollers in.  We got this in November 2011 with 36000 miles on it and have done our best to continue to take exceptional care of this car.  It was garage kept and we have managed to keep it mostly carport kept in the 20000 miles we have put on it.  We use this car for travel since it gets fantastic gas mileage.  I have been on long trips in it and trust it 100% to go anywhere.  It is truly something you dont see everyday.  The car has zero rust and I am hard pressed to find any nicks, scratches, or other surprises other than a small crack down low on the rear bumper that is not noticeable.  I change the oil every 3000 miles.  We just changed the auto transmission fluid, filter, and gasket because it needed a sensor replaced inside the auto transmission pan.  It has no check engine lights, no funny noises, grinds, pings, pecks, nothing goofy like that.  It does have ice cold air, smooth power windows, locks, cruise, am fm radio, wipers.  Every bell, light, whistle works just like a low mileage car like this should.  Even the little map light works, the doors have a soft light that illuminates the door controls at night.  It is a very well built car.  I know several people with these exact Buicks that have nearly 200,000 miles and still going strong with just routine maintenance.  I am near certain the car is all original including paint, interior, engine, driveline etc.  Tires have nice tread and are the correct size.  The trunk has never had anything dirty inside it.  This would be excellent for travel or college student.  Any interested persons can call Brian at 304-654-5117 to see it.  It has a clear Ohio title in my mother's name.  I will work with a shipper but all funds must clear my bank before the car and title leave my possession.  Therefore cash is preferred but will do a wire transfer.  Checks must clear the bank before car leaves.  You will be impressed.  Thanks and God bless.

2018 Buick Enclave spied looking slim in Death Valley

Thu, Sep 8 2016

The nine-year-old Buick Enclave is well past its prime, but this set of spy photos reveals that GM won't put the vehicle out of its misery, but will give the vehicle a large update instead. Our photographers managed to catch Buick testing a heavily-camouflaged 2018 Enclave testing below sea level near Death Valley. Buick was testing the prototype in Nevada earlier this year, but slapped a trailer onto the back of the SUV. Thanks to the camouflage that covers the badging, headlights, taillights, and hood, there's no way to confirm if the prototype is really a Buick or something from Chevrolet. But the circular outline on the grille has us leaning towards it being a Buick. Five LED running lights shine through the heavy camouflage, while Buick's iconic waterfall grille is prominently uncovered. The Enclave, which came out in 2008, shares the same platform as the GMC Acadia and Chevrolet Traverse. With the new Acadia slimming down and ditching the old Lambda platform in favor of the Chi platform, the Enclave will surely follow suit. The Enclave, though, is expected to get a stretched version of the Chi platform with three rows. While the entire body is concealed, the prototype's side profile looks to be slimmer than the current Enclave. With the addition of the new, lighter platform, the Enclave is expected to get GM's new 3.6-liter V6 with a nine-speed automatic transmission added later down the road. The new Enclave is expected to make its debut early next year as a 2018 model, which will be followed by the reveal of the Traverse shortly after. What's in a trademark? Sometimes, the next iconic car name

Thu, 07 Aug 2014

The United States Patent and Trademark Office is a treasure trove for auto enthusiasts, especially those who double as conspiracy theorists.
Why has Toyota applied to trademark "Supra," the name of one of its legendary sports cars, even though it hasn't sold one in the United States in 16 years? Why would General Motors continue to register "Chevelle" long after one of the most famous American muscle cars hit the end of the road? And what could Chrysler possibly do with the rights to "313," the area code for Detroit?

GM recalls 51k Enclave, Traverse, Acadia crossovers over fuel gauge inaccuracy

Mon, 05 May 2014

With all eyes fixed on General Motors in the wake of the ignition recall debacle, the auto giant has been carefully calling in a wide array of vehicles to fix anything and everything that could prove problematic. Just the other day it issued two separate recalls - one concerning the Cadillac SRX and another its heavy-duty pickups - and now it is issuing another.
This time the vehicles in question are the Buick Enclave, Chevy Traverse and GMC Acadia, three fullsize crossovers based on GM's Lambda platform. In an estimated 51,640 units manufactured between March 26 and August 15, 2013, the engine control module has been found to incorrectly display the level of fuel in the tank.
As a result, owners are being notified to bring their vehicles in to their local dealers to have the ECU reflashed to fix the problem. View the full details in the announcement below from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
