IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A GREAT DRIVER THAT NEEDS NOTHING,THIS IS IT! WE HAVE OWNED THIS VEVICLE 4 YEARS PUTTING ON JUST A FEW THOUSAND MILES. THE CAR ONLY HAS 39,000 MILES ON IT NOW. WHEN WE FOUND IT WE REPLACED THE ALTERNATOR,FRESHENED THE EXHAUST AND REPLACED THE TIRES. THE CAR WAS BUILT WITH THE 350 PACKAGE WHICH GAVE IT THE BETTER TRIM. THE MOTOR AND TRANS ARE BOTH 350 THE MOTOR BEING A 4 BBL CARB.POWER DISC BRAKES,POWER STEERING, COLD AIR CONDITIONING,TILT WHEEL CHROME MOLDINGS AND REMOTE MIRROR. WE HAVE THE WINDOW STICKER AND OWNERS MANUAL AND WARRANTY BOOK. AS I MENTIONED EARLIER THE CAR NEEDS NOTHING BUT I WILL TRY TO DESCRIBE ANY FLAWS. THERE IS NO RUST ON THE CAR ANYWHERE BUT A COUPLE SPOTS THE PAINT HAD BLISTERED LIKE AT THE HOOD EDGE. I DID NOT WANT TO DO ANY PAINT WORK SO I HAD TOUCH UP PAINT BLENDED AND BRUSH TOUCHED. .BY A REAR SIDE MARKER LAMP IS A SCRATCH.THERE IS NO RUST UNDER THE VINYL TOP,UNDER THE DOOR SILLS OR IN THE TRUNK WHERE THE ORIGINAL MAT AND INFO STICKERS ARE IN GREAT SHAPE.

Buick Riviera Concept debuts in China
Fri, 19 Apr 2013It's nighttime in China, and Buick has just concluded an evening event the day before the first - and only - press day of the Shanghai Motor Show. The star of this evening's party was the Buick Riviera concept vehicle, a plug-in electric hybrid coupe that the automaker says gives a glimpse at its future design direction, not to mention resurrecting some nomenclature from the brand's history that includes a similarly named concept from 2007.
The shape of the Riviera is said to be inspired by water. While the traditional Buick "waterfall" grille is present, the front end gains a more aggressive note thanks to what appear to be vertical air inlets below each headlight.
As for the concept's drivetrain, Buick says it uses General Motors' new dual-mode wireless plug-in hybrid electric vehicle propulsion system, or W-PHEV for short. The keyword there is 'wireless,' as the Riviera can charge its onboard battery packs with a traditional cable or wirelessly via a "sensory recharge panel" underneath the car.
Is that a Cascada on Buick's Detroit show stand?
Sat, Jan 10 2015The above image is a close-up of one particular car spotted in a rendering that Buick provided of its stand at next week's Detroit Auto Show. Two doors, four seats, no top, deep and arcing shoulder line - any idea what that might be? We're going to guess it's the coming Buick Cascada, only we're stretching the definition of the word "guess" since the car is a dead ringer for the Americanized Opel droptop, which we drove more than a year ago. Looks like it's finally going to get the 'Official' treatment as a 2016 model, after it was shown to dealers last August. There have also been rumors that the car will be called Velite, but newer rumblings out of the Renaissance Center suggest that such gossip is a dead-end. The Cascada will enter a segment with no real competitors, since the Chrysler 200 ragtop is gone and a Buick convertible vs. Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro convertibles isn't really a thing, and we think will make a nice expansion of the brand's model-range footprint. The big bit of news we're waiting for is what's going to power it, a Euro-sourced four-cylinder with 168 or 197 horsepower? We don't have long to wait to find out. Buick Velite is a not-so-Volt-like plug-in hybrid concept for China
Mon, Nov 7 2016Is the Buick Velite a Volt by any other name? That's a question worth asking after General Motors said that the Buick Velite concept vehicle will make its global debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show later this month. GM says the car "will provide a template for upcoming models being launched under the Buick Blue new energy vehicle strategy." Whether that means the Velite is a variant of the second-generation of the Chevrolet Volt extended-range plug-in is open to interpretation. Some automotive publications, including Autoweek, are saying that's the case, but GM China doesn't mention the Volt in its press release, only saying that the car is a "high-performance" plug-in hybrid vehicle. As we know, GM doesn't use the "PHEV" descriptor for the Volt, which makes us thing the Velite's powertrain is more like the Cadillac CT6 PHEV. Either way, the concept was developed by the Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center (PATAC), which is a joint venture between GM and Shanghai-based SAIC. As far as the name, GM has been shopping the Velite moniker around for a while now. The automaker first used Buick Velite for the convertible concept vehicle it showed off at the 2004 New York Auto Show. More recently, GM in 2014 filed to use the name for the US variant of its Opel Cascada four-seat convertible model, which debuted in 2013. As for the second-generation version of the Volt, that model appears to be gaining favor in the US. Domestic sales of the Volt through October have surged 64 percent from a year earlier to more than 18,500 units. The new version boosted its all-electric range by 40 percent to 53 miles while increasing its power output by 20 percent.
