1972 Buick Skylark GS Stage 1

I will start off by saying this car has a Stage 1 motor from a 1970 GS and was originally a Skylark with a 350 that was built in Flint, Michigan.  The odometer says 28603. The title is exempt here in the state of FL. This Buick has been great in the time we have owned it. It has always been easy to start and started every time without any issues. The AC is cold and the fan blows strong. The power steering is smooth and easy. The Brakes are also nice and have a good strong feel. The Transmission has a slightly higher than stock converter in it that puts all the power to the ground and goes through all gears strong. The power windows work well. The Radio is not anything special but gets great reception and sounds good. The Headliner is in good shape and has no tears or sags anywhere. The shoulder belts are tied up to the headliner and work as they should with the lap belt.  The power seats also work well in both directions. The seats are all in great shape and are very comfortable.  The Paint is about a year old, and shows well. I would say it is driver quality. There are a few gauges in the car. There is an Sunpro tach on the steering column, and 2 Autometer gauges mounted nicely under the dash. One gauge is an Oil pressure gauge and the other is a Water Temp gauge. Both read accurately. There are 2 electric fans mounted on the larger aluminum radiator that are controlled by a switch under the dash just to the left of the 2 gauges. This car was set up by the previous owner to be a good street/drag car. The tires in the rear are Mickey Thompson drag radials. The wheels have been painted. Some of the black paint is cracking and you can see they were painted blue before. The trunk is clean and free of any rust issues. the Battery is mounted in the trunk as well.  The bumpers are both straight and look good, they dont look like they have been chromed before, looks good for being original, but not perfect. The car is a great driver and everything works as it should. It has been great to us, and done everything well. I encourage and welcome anyone interested to come see and drive the car before they bid.  I will do my best to answer any questions you may have.

Please do not bid unless your funds are ready and your prepared to win..

I plan to sell this car, as we have too many cars and not enough space. Thank you!

2018 Buick Regal's base price is almost $2,500 cheaper than last year's

Wed, Jul 19 2017

Along with the launch of the Buick Regal GS, Buick released official pricing for all three versions of the Regal, and they're very competitively priced, especially the Sportback. The part-sedan, part-hatch Regal Sportback starts at just $25,915. That's more than $2,000 cheaper than the previous generation 2017 Buick Regal sedan, which started at $28,385. Along with the savings in cost comes a standard turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder making 250 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque - 295 pound-feet with optional all-wheel drive. That's a significant step up from the standard naturally aspirated engine in the previous-generation Regal that makes just 182 horsepower and 172 pound-feet of torque. The new Regal's hatch also provides more flexibility for loading cargo, and the cargo space expands from 14.2 cubic feet in the old model to 31.5. View 12 Photos The TourX wagon, or crossover depending on your opinion, comes with a $4,000 premium over the Sportback, with a base price of $29,995, matching what was revealed last month. It gains only about an extra cubic foot behind the rear seats, but with the seats folded, it has 73.5 cubic feet to play with. It also comes with standard all-wheel drive and the engine with 295 pound-feet of torque. Plus, it has the added ride height and plastic body cladding that gives it the same trendy look shared with the Subaru Outback, Volvo V60 Cross Country, and Audi A4 Allroad. It is a few thousand more than the Outback, but it undercuts the Volvo by roughly $10,000 and the Audi by almost $15,000. Then, for performance, there's the Regal GS. It starts at $39,990 and has a 310-horsepower V6 and standard all-wheel drive. It also features all of the versatility of the regular Regal Sportback. All-in-all, the Buick Regal line seems to pack a lot of value, at least on paper. Related Video:

Small number of 2013 Buick Encore models recalled for loose steering wheel

Thu, 04 Apr 2013

General Motors has issued a recall and a stop sale for the 2013 Buick Encore due to an issue that could result in the steering wheel falling off on certain models. In a letter to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, GM says that 144 Encores equipped with heated steering wheels could have been incorrectly retrofitted due to a parts shortage.
Needless to say, a loose or separated steering wheel would likely cause an accident if it happened while the vehicle was in motion. The recall doesn't go into effect until April 12, but concerned Encore owners can use the official recall notice (attached below) to contact GM.

Buick picks top 11 highlights from first 11 decades

Sun, 21 Apr 2013

Buick has taken the time to highlight some of the company's personal points of pride from the past 110 years. Those include everything from the automaker's very first vehicle, the 1904 Model B, to what Buick claims is the world's first concept car: The 1938 Y Job (above). That one also walked away with the worst name for a design study.
All told, the automaker has sold 43 million vehicles through the end of last year, and those include the lusty 1963 Riviera. That model celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2013, and remains one of the brand's most iconic designs.
Of course, Buick is rightfully proud of its quickest model, too. The 1987 GNX managed a 4.6-second bolt to 60 mph in tests by Car and Driver, and it also took the honor of being one of the automaker's rarest creations at just 547 units. You can check out all 10 in the gallery above.
