Woody Wagon With Lt1 Motor on 2040-cars
Oostburg, Wisconsin, United States
Listing the "Family Truckster". This is a very nice example of the Buick Roadmaster wagon. It has 164,000 well cared for miles. Oil changed every 3000 miles and maintained very well. The inside has no flaws, tears, stains or mars. The exterior is in good condition, but not perfect. The paint on the rear bumper is flaking off in some places, and the left rear quarter did have a repair aft of the gas door. The left front fender has been replaced with another white color on it. The vinyl wood is all in good shape on the body, some areas on the trim have faded. All of the glass is in excellent shape. The motor runs very strong, does not leak, smoke or use oil. Drives straight, stops as it should, and a good driver in general. I have used this car as my daily driver and would not hesitate to take it on any trip. It gets better gas mileage than my v-6 SUV. I have replaced the exhaust from the cats back with Flowmaster 52 series and eliminated the exhaust resonators. Has a slight tone at idle and a growl when you put your foot into it. Replaced A/C compressor and converted the system last year. Replaced fuel pump and sender. New air shocks. This car did not have the airbag suspension from the factory. Tires have at least 75% tread left. I have tried to remember all that we have done and been as descriptive as possible. If you have questions please do not hesitate to ask. If you want specific photos I am glad to send them.

2014 Buick Regal GS
Mon, 09 Sep 2013A few months ago I drove the 2014 Buick LaCrosse and wrote up a First Drive review of it. For all of my quibbles with that sedan (and I had a fair number), I understand that it speaks to the heart of what new Buick loyalists like in a car; it's roomy, has a cushy ride and is as placid as a summer's morning at highway speeds.
Those qualities, while undeniably desirable, don't mean a whole lot to me personally. I prefer sedans that conjure up words like "nimble," "punchy" or even "raucous" on occasion. So, directionally, the high-performance GS version of the 2014 Buick Regal is more my cup of tea than any other car in the company's current range.
In fact, I'd already come to know the Regal GS from its 2012 model year introduction, and grown more than a little fond of the sporting sedan in its original front-wheel-drive, six-speed-manual guise. The fast, sweet-handling car with well-sorted controls may have suffered from a slight identity crisis in terms of pricing (and may still), but it was undeniably fun to drive. So, when I heard that the GS was coming to market for 2014 with optional all-wheel drive (albeit only in combination with a six-speed automatic transmission), I was stoked to have another go and concentrated my driving impressions on the AWD car.
GM issues four new recalls, 2.4 million cars affected
Tue, 20 May 2014General Motors has announced another set of recalls, covering some 2.42 million cars in the United States. For those keeping track, The General has now recalled over 15 million cars worldwide this year due to various issues.
Here's the breakdown for this most recent set of recalls:
1,339,355 - Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia models from the 2009 to 2014 model years; Saturn Outlook models from the 2009 to 2010 model years
No, Cadillac is not killing its flagship CT6 sedan
Sat, Jul 22 2017Mark Twain never actually said that reports of his death had been greatly exaggerated. But if the Cadillac CT6 could talk, those are the exact words it would use. Speaking to Jalopnik, Cadillac chief Johan de Nysschen confirmed, emphatically, "There is absolutely no plan, at all, to cancel the CT6." In fact, says de Nysschen, the CT6 will soon be the beneficiary of significant investment. "The [CT6] forms a very important part of our product strategy going forward for the brand. The car also has a very major contribution to make to the shaping of brand perceptions, and the transformational process that Cadillac is undergoing." For instance, expect the CT6 to spearhead General Motors' most advanced forays into self-driving automobile technology. Interestingly, though, the Cadillac ATS and CTS sedans probably won't live past their current generations as the automaker 're-balances its sedan portfolio.' Replacement models are "in development" right now, says de Nysschen, which will "much more clearly separate the market position, both in terms of target customer demographics, in terms of market segments and in terms of price points between these three sedan lineups." So, that's confirmation that the Cadillac CT6 is going to stick around for a while. But what of other models cited by Reuters to potentially be killed, like the Buick LaCrosse and Chevy Impala and Volt? Read our take on that here, but suffice it to say that we don't think they're in danger, either.
