This is the ultimate sleeper wagon. 94 buick roadmaster wagon. Damn near rust free. Only rust is minor surface rust underneath. There's lots of time and money and blood put into this car. The car looks like a stock woody wagon. But under the hood it has a fully built and tuned 383 LT1 stroker with a SN-93 Paxton supercharger. Engine only has 10k miles at most. Has lt4 intake, long tube headers, and tune was done by ion at madtuner. The Trans is a built th400. Built by Sam at "the Trans shop" in Batavia. Was converted to have electronic speedometer, different correct tail housing. The rear end is the corp. 8.5" with 3:73 gear and Detroit tru-trac locker and c-clip eliminators. As for suspension, everything was replaced, rear upper and lower control arms are adjustable and new. Front end completely rebuilt. Ball joints tie rods ect... This car is basically a badass brand new car. The only thing to give it away that it's not stock is the tach and boost gauge on the column. So like I said. Lots of money time and blood put into this thing. I also have a bunch of receipts and paperwork on everything done on the car. This car ran a 13.75 @ 101 mph in the 1/4 mile and still has room for improvement, like more boost, inter cooler and meth kit and I'm sure it'll get quite a bit faster. Interior is nice just needs a cleaning. Has moon roof. Needs radio antenna and needs window slides. Windows still work. ABS light is on but doesn't effect anything. Working on putting new mufflers on it because one of the flanges came loose on the pas side muffler. Has MSD 8.5 mm spark plug wires, cylinder 5 and cylinder 8 need to be replaced from catching hell from the headers... not a big deal. Also has new rear tires. If you have any questions please message me and I'll gladly answer anything to the best of my abilities. This car is really awesome runs and drives stops but with minor work it can definitely be damn near perfect. I reserve the right to end the auction early due to being sold locally and that I've described the car to the best of my abilities. Shipping needs to be taken care of by new owner, might be able to help with shipping if talked to first. No personal checks, cash preferred.

Ford, Toyota clean up in Best Car For The Money Awards
Fri, 22 Feb 2013The U.S. News Best Cars for the Money Awards picks winners by looking at the average transaction price, five-year total cost of ownership, the regard a car has from the automotive press, reliability figures from J.D. Power and Associates and safety data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The result, according to the magazine, is "the best combination of critical acclaim and long-term value."
Ford nabbed six of the 21 categories that received awards this year, the Focus, Fusion, Fusion Hybrid, Taurus, Escape and Edge getting trophies. Toyota and its Lexus and Scion sub-brands took another five, the Tacoma and Tundra owning the two categories given to pickup trucks. The other ten awards were split between Honda with three, Buick with two, and one each for Subaru, BMW, Hyundai, Chevrolet and Mazda.

1969 Chevrolet Chevelle vs 1987 Buick GNX in Generation Gap showdown
Wed, 15 Oct 2014Generation Gap generally tries to adhere to a theme for each episode, and for the final video from the Lingenfelter collection, the series might have its best idea yet - limited-production muscle cars from General Motors.
On one side you get a 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle COPO, and it's an absolute sleeper. Other than the SS wheels, this classic coupe looks practically bone stock, at least until the engine fires up. Under the hood is a 427-cubic-inch (7.0-liter) V8 making a claimed 425 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. This was the sole year for the COPO package on the Chevelle, and Chevy only made about 323 of them.
The Chevelle's challenger is almost as rare and arguably just as cool. The 1987 Buick Grand National GNX looks just as mean today as when new. It eschews a traditional muscular V8 in favor of a 3.8-liter turbo V6 making a claimed 276 hp and 360 lb-ft, although that number is supposedly a bit underrated. Also, just 547 examples of the GNX version were ever built making it quite a collector's item too.
Woodward Dream Cruise Photo Gallery | Classics and American muscle
Sun, Aug 21 2022The 2022 running of the Woodward Dream Cruise just went down, and we were there from morning to evening drinking in the sweet sights and pre-emissions exhaust fumes. Yes, it’s a little smelly on Woodward Ave. this time of year. Just like always, the Dream Cruise invites all comers to cruise their machines on Woodward from Ferndale, MI to Pontiac, MI. Everybody is invited, but the original intent of the Dream Cruise was to highlight classic American muscle cars. YouÂ’ll see plenty of those in our mega gallery above, but weÂ’ve sprinkled it with a bunch of other vehicle types, such as modern muscle and other intriguing American vehicles. Similar to years past, though, sometimes the classics arenÂ’t the most entertaining thing to look at on Woodward. ThatÂ’s why weÂ’ll have other mega galleries coming soon, highlighting the weird cars and (great) dogs of the Cruise, all the imports and exotics you can imagine and a special one for all the trucks of Woodward — perhaps even more so than in years past, the truck population on Dream Cruise day was quite high. Click through above to see all the classics you wouldÂ’ve seen had you been roadside on the day of the cruise. And if you missed this yearÂ’s event, make sure you check out what happens next year. You wonÂ’t be alone, as itÂ’s estimated that over 1 million people attend the Dream Cruise to either watch from the side of the road or to sit in the most glorious traffic jam in the world.
