This 1994 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon has been my personal daily driver for over four years now. It has the desired LT1 Fuel Injected 350 or "Corvette Engine" backed by the 4L60E 4 speed transmission. It gets about 22 MPG on the highway and about 16 MPG around town. This Roadmaster has the tow package which adds the Engine Oil Cooler, Transmission Cooler and the auto leveling rear shocks (shocks were removed but the air pump and lines are still installed). It has leather interior which is in good shape. The AC blows super cold. It has an aftermarket stereo installed which allows the use of Bluetooth for music streaming and phone. I had the exhaust worked on and added a set of Magnaflow mufflers. It has a nice, mild but throaty muscle car sound.
The car runs strong and has been well maintained over its entire life. Over the past several years I have replaced the following:
- Front oil seals
- Cap, Rotor and Plugs and Wires
- Rear Brake Drums, Wheel Cylinders and Pads
- Radiator, Hoses, Water Pump, Coolant (Converted it to the Green All Purpose)
- Belts, Fan Belt Tensioner
- Front Sway Bar End Links
- Front Bearings
- AC Hose and complete recharge.
Since I bought the car I have customized and upgraded the following:
- Sport Front Brake Package - Cross Drilled and Slotted Rotors with matching pads
- 1.5" Sport Drop Springs in the Front and Back.
- Sport Shocks for lowered cars
- Balance tube installed with Magnaflow Mufflers installed and resonators removed.
- Removed the wood grain and replaced it with 3M White Car Wrap
- Stripped the wood grain from the Stainless Trim, polished and replaced.
- Added 1953 Roadmaster Emblems to the Rear Quarters
The car runs well and will make a great daily driver. It has been a blast to drive and to my wife's chagrin it gets a lot of attention everywhere we go. We are selling it because we are moving out of state.
The car has a few things that you'll need to do once you get it. The tires and heater core (currently bypassed since I live in Florida) will need to be replaced. The rear passenger door window regulator needs to be replaced, currently it is in the upright position and I disconnected the motor (this is a common problem in Florida)
PAYMENT: Full Payment within 7 days of the end of the Auction (See payment details). A Non-Refundable deposit of $500 is due within 24 Hours of the end of the Auction (Paypal Accepted)
DELIVERY: You can arrange for pick up or shipping of the car. I will not arrange any delivery.
Overall, this is a great car. Please take a look at the pictures...

Buick working on Encore refresh
Tue, Jun 9 2015It's been three years now since the model we know as the Buick Encore (sold overseas as the Vauxhall/Opel Mokka) first hit the scene. That makes it about due for a bit of a facelift, and judging from these latest spy shots, that's precisely what General Motors seems to be up to. The nose of this prototype (intriguingly wearing Buick badges but German plates) is all covered up, so it's hard to tell what Buick and its European counterparts have in store for the front-end restyling, but the fact that they've covered it so extensively tells us that somethings afoot. The tail should also get new lights and bumper as well. You can fully expect GM to take the opportunity to refresh the cabin while it's at it with tweaked ergonomics and new equipment. Meanwhile our sources tell us the 1.0-liter inline-three from the new Corsa could find its way under the Opel/Vauxhall's hood to join the current lineup of four-pots, but it's too early to say whether that engine might find its way across the pond to the Buick version as well.
Best car infotainment systems: From UConnect to MBUX, these are our favorites
Sun, Jan 7 2024Declaring one infotainment system the best over any other is an inherently subjective matter. You can look at quantitative testing for things like input response time and various screen load times, but ask a room full of people that have tried all car infotainment systems what their favorite is, and you’re likely to get a lot of different responses. For the most part, the various infotainment systems available all share a similar purpose. They aim to help the driver get where they're going with navigation, play their favorite tunes via all sorts of media playback options and allow folks to stay connected with others via phone connectivity. Of course, most go way beyond the basics these days and offer features like streaming services, in-car performance data and much more. Unique features are aplenty when you start diving through menus, but how they go about their most important tasks vary widely. Some of our editors prefer systems that are exclusively touch-based and chock full of boundary-pushing features. Others may prefer a back-to-basics non-touch system that is navigable via a scroll wheel. You can compare it to the phone operating system wars. Just like some prefer Android phones over iPhones, we all have our own opinions for what makes up the best infotainment interface. All that said, our combined experience tells us that a number of infotainment systems are at least better than the rest. WeÂ’ve narrowed it down to five total systems in their own subcategories that stand out to us. Read on below to see our picks, and feel free to make your own arguments in the comments. Best infotainment overall: UConnect 5, various Stellantis products Ram 1500 Uconnect Infotainment System Review If thereÂ’s one infotainment system that all of us agree is excellent, itÂ’s UConnect. It has numerous qualities that make it great, but above all else, UConnect is simple and straightforward to use. Ease of operation is one of the most (if not the single most) vital parts of any infotainment system interface. If youÂ’re expected to be able to tap away on a touchscreen while driving and still pay attention to the road, a complex infotainment system is going to remove your attention from the number one task at hand: driving. UConnect uses a simple interface that puts all of your key functions in a clearly-represented row on the bottom of the screen. Tap any of them, and it instantly pulls up that menu.
GM sees 'strong year' in 2018, then gold in Chevy Silverado for 2019
Tue, Jan 16 2018DETROIT — General Motors said on Tuesday it expects earnings in 2018 to be largely flat compared with 2017, but that profits should pick up pace in 2019 as its revamped line of high-margin pickup trucks hits the U.S. market. The 2018 earnings outlook was above market expectations, sending GM shares up more than 3 percent in premarket trading. "GM had a very good 2017 as we continued to transform our company to be more focused, resilient and profitable," GM Chief Executive Mary Barra said in a statement. "We are positioned for another strong year in 2018 and an even better one in 2019." GM and its Detroit rivals, Ford and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, are bringing on new trucks at a time when overall U.S. new vehicle sales have been falling, but truck sales continue to grow as consumers abandon passenger cars in favor of pickups, SUVs and crossovers. GM on Saturday fired a new round in the battle for profits from one of the U.S. auto industry's most lucrative segments when it showed a new generation of its Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck at the Detroit auto show. The new Silverado, a highlight of the event, is the successor to GM's best-selling vehicle in North America. Sales of the current Silverado rose nearly 2 percent to 585,000 vehicles in 2017. In the coming months, the company will also reveal a revamped GMC Sierra pickup truck. U.S. new vehicle sales fell 2 percent in 2017 after hitting a record high in 2016, and are expected to drop further in 2018 as interest rates rise and more late-model used cars return to dealer lots to compete with new ones. GM said on Tuesday that while it retools a factory in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, to make the new pickup trucks, it will shift some production to an Oshawa, Ontario, plant in order to avoid missing sales in a hot market for the vehicles. The No. 1 U.S. automaker said it will record a $7 billion non-cash charge for its fourth-quarter 2017 earnings related to deferred tax assets. GM said it expects capital expenditure in 2018 of around $8.5 billion, about $1 billion of which will go toward funding self-driving car technology. Last week, the company said it is seeking U.S. government approval for a fully autonomous car — one without a steering wheel, brake pedal or accelerator pedal — to enter the automaker's first commercial ride-sharing fleet in 2019. GM said it expects 2017 earnings per share at the high end of its previously forecast range of $6 to $6.50.
