Bring your mechanic-you will not be disappointed.
Up for some real driving pleasure, I am offering one beautiful sleeper Corvette LT1 Powered station wagon. The car has room for a full size 4 foot x 8 foot sheet of plywood-actually, it will hold 10 - 20 sheets. I am the third owner and I have used it very little, just for vacations with family and one friend for each kid and 3 bikes, two kayaks, one moped and a dog. The car seats 8 comfortably. There are actually 8 seatbelts. It is officially an 8 passenger car, with a skylight and one heavy duty roof rack. The car now has 113,000 miles and runs like new. The color looks black, but it is a black cherry red. The red clothe interior is clean with no rips or tears. The real full size spare has a matching factory spare mag wheel. That is how it came. The tires have 50% wear left and they are high-speed tires rated for 135 mile per hour. (No, I have never had it over the speed limit-that would be illegal.) The car drives like a giant Corvette. The transmission shifts as and when it should. It is a four speed automatic on the column with cruise control, power windows (all work, but the driver side back window needs some help-the motor goes up and down and it will go back into place with help. It will need the window guide replaced.) It also has power steering, brakes and door locks. All work as they should. The car is a nice deep cherry red with the woody side panels. The hood could use a re-paint, but it is rust free and works as it should. The wood panel trim has been painted black because the original plastic coating peeled away. Has Ice Cold Air Conditioning. Has an AM/FM radio with cassette player. Missing the passenger side front speaker and grill. Power Drivers seat. Power mirrors. Auto Dim rear view mirror.
No body rust at all. Some surface rust underneath-but surface only and remarkably good for a 1994.
Brand New Heavy Duty Radiator, Distributor and Water Pump.
Dual Flowmaster Exhaust makes this Corvette LT1 sound awesome.
Hotchkis Sport Suspension Anti-Sway Bar Kit Front and Back
These Hotchkis Sport Suspension anti-sway bars are made from thick, high-carbon steel, which reduces excess chassis movement during launch and tightens up body roll around the corners. They come complete with polyurethane bushings and installation hardware. This car has the complete front and rear kits.
No body roll here!

GM cutting Chevy Sonic, Buick Verano production by more than 20%
Sat, Jun 13 2015General Motors' Orion Assembly plant in Michigan is seeing even more production cuts this year to further reduce inventories of the Chevrolet Sonic and Buick Verano. These latest adjustments mean layoffs for about 100 workers in phases starting in July. "GM Orion Assembly will adjust plant production capacity to better align with market demand," the company said in a statement announcing the change. Through May, sales of the Sonic are down 28.5 percent to 29,082 vehicles, and the Verano is off 15.6 percent, with 15,279 sold this year. According to unnamed plant insiders speaking to Automotive News, the assembly rate is slowing at Orion Assembly from the current 33 cars an hour down to 26 an hour, a 21-percent reduction. GM is also reportedly going to keep the plant idle for three weeks during the normal summer shutdown, rather than the usual two. Earlier in the year, the factory was idled for two weeks due to excess supply of the Sonic and Verano. In March, it was closed again for several days for the same reason. The Orion Assembly plant is the future home to the line for the Chevy Bolt EV. GM Statement: GM Orion Assembly will adjust plant production capacity to better align with market demand. A phased layoff of approximately 100 employees will begin in July 2015 and conclude by year-end. GM expanding Lansing Lambda CUV plant
Thu, 30 Oct 2014Considering that crossovers are a rapidly growing portion of the US auto market, it's not surprising to hear that General Motors is preparing to build even more of them. The company is investing $63 million to expand its Lansing Delta Township Assembly plant that builds Lambda platform CUVs like the Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia and Buick Enclave.
According to GM, the expansion will add roughly 263,000 extra square feet of space to the plant. Of that, 181,000 square feet will be for an updated body shop with cutting-edge robots. There will also be 54,000 square feet of additional room in the paint shop and 28,000 square feet of more area for general assembly.
GM isn't saying as much, but there is the possibility that this extra space could allow for additional models produced at the factory. Cadillac reportedly dropped plans to build a three-row SUV on the Lambda platform earlier this year, however, dealers for the luxury brand were recently pitched the possibility of adding large and small CUVs, an ATS convertible or a sedan below the ATS.
GM recalling 316k vehicles due to headlamp faults
Mon, Dec 1 2014General Motors has announced a recall covering 316,357 vehicles globally, due to the possibility of sporadic or permanent failure of the low-beam headlamps. 273,182 of these vehicles are in the United States, while the remaining affected units are in Canada, Mexico, and elsewhere. This recall includes the 2006-09 Buick LaCrosse (pictured above), 2006-07 Chevy TrailBlazer and TrailBlazer EXT, 2006-07 GMC Envoy and 2006 GMC Envoy XL, 2006-07 Buick Rainier, 2006-08 Saab 9-7X, and 2006-08 Isuzu Ascender. In an email sent to Autoblog, General Motors explains that if the headlamp driver modules are not functioning correctly, "the low-beam headlamps and daytime running lamps could intermittently or permanently fail to illuminate." GM states that this problem does not affect things like high-beams, turn signals, marker lamps, or foglamps. As of this writing, GM states it "has not been able to confirm whether the HDMs in these vehicles caused any vehicle accidents." The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has been notified, but the recall has not yet posted to the government agency's website. Scroll down to read the full details in GM's email. General Motors is recalling 273,182 Buick LaCrosse sedans and Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, Saab and Isuzu midsize SUVs in the U.S. for possible intermittent or permanent loss of low beam headlamps. Affected models are: 2006-2009 Buick LaCrosse sedans; 2006-2007 Chevrolet TrailBlazer and 2006 TrailBlazer EXT; 2006-2007 GMC Envoy and 2006 Envoy XL; 2006-2007 Buick Rainier; 2006-2008 Saab 9-7X and 2006-2008 Isuzu Ascender midsize SUVs. If the headlamp driver modules is not operating correctly, the low-beam headlamps and daytime running lamps could intermittently or permanently fail to illuminate. This condition does not affect the high-beam headlamps, marker lamps, turn signals, or fog lamps. GM has not been able to confirm whether the HDMs in these vehicles caused any vehicle accidents. The total population, including the U.S., Canada, Mexico and exports from North America is 316,357. The NHTSA was sent the Part 573 information for this recall on November 25. It has not yet posted to the NHTSA website.
