Up for auction is a 1985 Buick Riviera. This car is AMAZING! It's low millage is true and correct at 20,927. It was bought new by the man's father I got it from. When he passed away, it was handed to him. It has been kept in a garage all it's life. The paint is original, and has never been wrecked. EVER! It has won several awards in the STOCK CLASS at car shows. The trunk has never been used, and the original spare tire is still in the spare tire rack. The interior is emaculate!, and NOT a wear or tear spot any where!

It's a front wheel car, with a V8(think 308). Not real sure of engine size. I have pictures of engine, but can't find where I down loaded them to my laptop. But when you open the hood, it's just like it was from factory. Even has all the factory stickers in place. Everything works, electric locks, windows, cruise, radio, tape player, even blows ICE COLD AIR! Engine doesn't miss or sputter. Starts up every time. Transmission shifts perfectly!

The day I got this car, I drove it home, and was amazed how smooth and quiet it was. It was like driving my new car.

I am not a Riviera guy. So I am selling it, to buy a muscle car. The reserve of this car is very reasonable. Winning bidder is responsible for shipping, or pick it up in person and drive it home.

Neil Young's 1953 Buick Roadmaster Skylark brings $400,000 at auction

Singer-songwriter Neil Young's extensive collection of model trains have fetched nearly $300,000 at auction, along with classic cars and musical equipment owned by the 72-year-old folk-rock icon. Young, a model train enthusiast for decades, offered more than 230 pieces at Julien's Auctions in Los Angeles from his collection of Lionel trains, including a custom-painted Commodore Vanderbilt 4-6-4 locomotive that sold for $10,000. Several cars that Young owns were also sold. A 1953 Buick code 76X Roadmaster Skylark convertible with a steering wheel hub that says, "Customized for Neil Young," went for $400,000, the auction house said on Saturday. Young, best known for his Woodstock-era songs as well as his work with the bands Buffalo Springfield and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young has said the vast model train layouts at his California ranch helped him connect with his son Ben, who has cerebral palsy. Other items auctioned off on Saturday included some of Young's guitars, amplifiers and microphones. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Bridge School in California, which Young's ex-wife Pegi Young co-founded in 1986 for children with severe speech and physical impairments.Reporting by Joseph AxRelated Video:

Opel Cascada is Europe's Buick convertible [w/video]

As we reported earlier, there has been much speculation regarding a Buick convertible of sorts. The most ringing endorsement of this conjecture comes today from General Motors Europe, as the new Opel Cascada has debuted on the interwebs. Opel calls the four-passenger Cascada an "athletic, glamorous midsize convertible." With a length of 4,697mm (185 in.), the Cascada is as long as an Audi A5, to which GM has said it would be slightly larger.
The Cascada, which is Spanish for waterfall, features a cloth convertible top that retracts in 17 seconds and at speeds up to 50 km/h (31 mph). The Cascada features a 1.4-liter turbo gas engine, 2.0-liter turbodiesel with 165 horsepower and a range-topping 1.6-liter turbocharged Ecotec engine that puts out 170 horsepower and 280 Nm (207 lb-ft). Power is sent through either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission.
According to GM, the Cascada will also come rife with luxury and tech features. In addition to adaptive forward lighting and ergonomic heated front seats, the convertible will feature Opel Eye, which is a front camera that can recognize traffic signs and incorporates lane departure warning and forward collision alert.
