1965 BUICK RIVIERA

This is a Very Nice, High Quality Driver. A Turn Key Car. Get in and drive it anywhere. It had been repainted in 2012 with a high quality paint job. The color is absolutely stunning! This car turns heads everywhere it goes. I get compliments every time I drive it.

The previous owner said the engine was rebuilt around 1994. It has a 401 with one 4 barrel carburetor.  Power steering and Power Brakes. We have had the car sense about 2004.

Many new parts including the water pump, master cylinder & battery. To many other new parts to list. It runs Very Strong and is Very Responsive.

The body is Straight and Solid. Paint is in excellent condition. It was repainted using base coat/clear coat. It's not an A #1 show car.

But it's a Very Very Nice Driver.

The Bumpers have New Chrome. The moldings are original and in very good condition. The floor boards and frame are solid and have been cleaned up and painted.

The Seats, Dash, Door and Rear Side Panels are in Very Nice condition. The Carpet and Headliner is New. And all Wood Grain is New.

All 4 Power Windows work, including the Two Power Wing Vents,

Power Drivers Seat and Power Headlights.

The car has very little to no putty in it. If there was any rust. It was cut out and replaced with new metel.

The car came with AC. That is the only thing not working that I know of.

It has an after market cruise control in it.

The original grill is in the trunk and go's with the car.

There is a minor oil seepage from the transmission. So when sitting for a while it will leave a couple of spots.

All Gages work. And the Tilt Wheel works.

This is a Great Car! It will make a very nice investment for someone. These 65 Riviera's are steadily increasing in value.

I truly hate to sell it.

It is my fathers car. He passed away last March.

I am selling it for him.

Please ask all questions & have all funds available before making an offer.

I'm happy to answer any questions, assist with shipping & or inspections. Serious buyers only please!

Thank you for viewing my listing.

2013 Opel Cascada

The Future Buick Verano Convertible?
I wasn't wearing a pedometer while in Germany covering the Frankfurt Motor Show this year, but it's safe to say I walked more than a few miles between press conferences, shooting cars and trekking back to the media center on the first day alone. For this reason, it didn't take much convincing from General Motors for me to duck out of the Messe a day early and drive some of its latest Opel models. No, this didn't include the all-new Country Tourer, but I was able to drive the Opel Mokka (our Buick Encore), the Opel Adam and the Opel Cascada.
I focused most of my driving time behind the wheel of the Cascada, which went on sale in Europe earlier this year, since rumors are swirling that a Buick version of this convertible "could happen soon." Buick hasn't had a convertible since the Reatta, and GM has been lacking a non-performance, budget-minded convertible since the Pontiac brand - and its G6 - was dropped, so adding the Cascada to Buick showrooms could further help the reemerging brand compete in the near-luxury segment. Although the weather was too chilly (and occasionally rainy) to enjoy the Cascada with its top down for very long, I was able to clock a fair bit of drive time behind the wheel on roads ranging from the autobahn to tight roads in small, quaint villages.

2015 Buick Verano offered with six-speed manual after all

Mon, 09 Jun 2014

Good news, boys and girls (well, at least those of you who still like shifting for yourselves). Buick got in touch with us to correct some information that it had mistakenly announced; namely, that the 2015 Verano will lose its optional six-speed manual transmission. Apparently, that announcement was incorrect, and the compact sedan will indeed continue to offer a manual option for 2015, despite what we're certain is a low take rate. Additionally, the Desert Dusk Metallic paint that was said to come as part of an Appearance Package is no longer part of the deal. With that out of the way, we now return you to your regularly scheduled automotive-obsessive broadcast...

Thanks for keeping us on our toes, Detroit Auto Show [w/poll]

Wed, Jan 14 2015

Here at Autoblog, we love unexpected debuts at auto shows – and judging by our Detroit Auto Show comments and traffic, you do, too. Surprise reveals have been fewer and farther between in recent years with so many ways for vehicles to be teased or leak out, but this week's show has been a revelation. More to the point, it's been a series of revelations, with automakers from around the globe successfully delivering a brace of concept and production surprises. It's made our jobs a lot more exciting and challenging this week, and even though it's actually more work to react and run-and-gun when the sheet is pulled on a surprise reveal than it is to publish an already-written embargoed story, we've had more fun covering this show for you than any domestic show in memory. We hope you've enjoyed the surprises along with us. To that end, borrowing the words of an unnamed automaker PR flack, we'd like to thank the following automakers for enduring "mountain of antacids" and that "creeping sense of paranoia" necessary to keeping ones' wares totally under wraps until the sheets are pulled off the sheetmetal: Buick Avenir concept Chevrolet Bolt concept Ford GT concept Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R Ford F-150 SVT Raptor Hyundai HCD-15 Santa Cruz concept And while we're at it, we'd like to throw in an shout-out to Detroit's substantially revised and revitalized Cobo Center, and in particular, the redone Michelin media center, which is arguably the single best accommodations for writing show stories that we've encountered on the entire international circuit. Well done, everyone. Thank you, and keep the surprises coming. Auto News Detroit Auto Show Buick Chevrolet Ford Hyundai Volvo 2015 Detroit Auto Show
