I found a good old Regal for you.

I bought this beautiful Buick at a local dealer auction from one of the area's largest multi franchise dealerships. This monster family of dealerships, runs a couple hundred cars through the auctions every week because they have to be able to move the cars they don't keep for resale. They usually don't keep any trades older than 3 or 4 years. They have no interest in a nice low mileage car like this Regal. They just want to turn it into cash.

It is very hard to find these Regal's with low miles. They are great everyday mileage eaters. They take a beating and keep on running. The 3800 v6 engine is the best engine GM has made since the 350. I personally have owned dozens of 3.8's in most every car they installed it in. Including 3 that I bought for my Mom. Now you know I have strong faith in an engine when you sell them to your mother. Oh and my wife drives one too! 167,000 on hers and it is still running like new. They get great gas mileage with plenty of power too.

After 35 years around this business, you can't help but learn which vehicles do the best job for the longest time with a manageable cost per mile ratio. These Regal's are very comfortable, give you a great combination of styling, ride, economy, durability and DEPENDABLITY! Why else would I have my Mom and Wife in one! The 3800 v6 has NEVER-EVER, LET US DOWN. NOT ONCE.

I have put almost 1,000 miles on this Regal, so I know it will make you a great car for years to come. The body and paint are superior. See pic for a spot that was touched up near the right side mirror. The only other paintwork is touch up on the left rear bumper cover. I blew a little paint on a scuff. Blended perfectly. See pic. Point being, it's never been hit. The panels are straight and have original paint. This car drives like a low mileage car should. The front end feels tight. The suspension and brakes perform properly. The tires have a lot of tread but a balance may be in order. I do feel a little vibration over 60 mph, but I am much more picky than most. All the buttons work. This car was well cared for. Aside from a few, VERY FEW, stone chips, there really isn't anything to complain about cosmetically. It isn't full of parking lot dents and scratches. No sun damage, NON SMOKER too. The interior's leather is terrific. So are the dash, rug, panels and headliner.

Power driver's seat, power windows and locks, cruise, tilt, delay wipers and much more.

Everything you need and nothing you don't.

All in all, you won't find a better car value. Lots of years and miles left in this one.

All this and a new inspection and emission test too!

******100% POSITIVE FEEDBACK FOR OVER 14 YEARS!!!******

Click on my "ME" page to check out some of the cool cars I have sold on Ebay. Also check out what my customers say about their deals and cars.

Premier Motors Inc. has been a Licensed, Bonded and Insured Pa. dealership for over 20 years. I am also a notary. I have over 25 years experience with specialty cars and trucks. I am located about 25 east of Pittsburgh. Although I sell my Ebay cars AS IS-Where Is, be assured this Regal would not be on Ebay if it wasn't a great old car. My feedback shows that I try hard to represent each vehicle as fairly as possible. Buy with confidence that you will be treated with the best of intentions and that this car has been described properly.

Mark Reuss: GM can't afford product 'misses,' has 'thought about' CT6 V-Series

Thu, Apr 9 2015

Mark Reuss is a busy man. He oversees General Motors' global product portfolio, an all-encompassing task for a company that sold more than 9.9 million cars and trucks last year. When GM launches a well-received product, like the road-going rocket ship that is the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 – he gets credit. When the company stumbles with the slow-selling Chevy Malibu or grapples with fallout from the decade-old Saturn Ion and its flawed ignition switch, he gets blamed. GM owners, the press and sometimes the federal government, demand answers. Bob Lutz famously held the job before Reuss. So did Mary Barra, who's now GM's chief executive. There's a New GM, but the lineage is connected to a long history. When he's not thinking product, Reuss, an executive vice president, also runs the purchasing and supply chain for the company, which is still one of the largest industrial empires in the world. We caught up with Reuss on the floor of the New York Auto Show, where GM had just rolled out two crucial new products: the 2016 Cadillac CT6 and the 2016 Chevrolet Malibu. Speaking with a small group of reporters, Reuss delved into a variety of subjects, including the new Malibu, Cadillac's future (he thinks the ATS-V is going to "flame the M3 and M4"), and other topics. On fixing the Malibu: "We can't miss. We can't have those kinds of misses [like the previous generation] on our cars and crossovers and trucks. We can't do that. If we do that, we give a reason for someone to go buy something else. It's that simple. "On a car like the Malibu we have a chance to really fix all of that, which we have, and then lead. Then you've got a real opportunity there. So that's what we've really been focused on here – to fix those things." He later added: "We need that car here to transform Chevrolet desperately because it's the heart of the market. And when you think of Chevrolet, people will come back and think about what we did with the [new] Malibu and the Cruze... It's hugely important to us." On Cadillac: "If we go out and try and out-German the Germans, it's probably not going to work. We've got an opportunity here generationally where there's a lot of people younger than me that have parents that drove BMWs and Mercedes, and I think there's an opportunity there for those people to drive something different than what their parents did, and I think that's always been an opportunity in the auto industry if you look at the history of it.

Small number of 2013 Buick Encore models recalled for loose steering wheel

Thu, 04 Apr 2013

General Motors has issued a recall and a stop sale for the 2013 Buick Encore due to an issue that could result in the steering wheel falling off on certain models. In a letter to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, GM says that 144 Encores equipped with heated steering wheels could have been incorrectly retrofitted due to a parts shortage.
Needless to say, a loose or separated steering wheel would likely cause an accident if it happened while the vehicle was in motion. The recall doesn't go into effect until April 12, but concerned Encore owners can use the official recall notice (attached below) to contact GM.

Junkyard Gem: 1973 Buick LeSabre Custom Hardtop Sedan

Sat, Oct 26 2019

The steps on Alfred Sloan's "Ladder of Success," in which you'd start your career by buying a Chevrolet and then move up through the GM marques as your wealth increased, stayed rigidly fixed from the 1930s into the late 1960s. By the early 1970s, though, "prestige creep" among The General's divisions had set in, with lower-zoot marques leapfrogging their betters with ballooning price tags and snob appeal; a fully-loaded Chevy Caprice could cost more than an Olds 98, a Pontiac Bonneville could out-snoot a Buick LeSabre, and the LeSabre itself came to threaten mighty Cadillac at the top of the GM pyramid. Here's a fully depreciated '73 LeSabre Custom Hardtop Sedan, once the picture of Malaise Era opulence but now brought down to earth in a San Jose self-service car graveyard. The high-rollingest of all LeSabres in 1973 was the Custom (though shoppers for full-sized 1973 Buicks really wishing to rub the noses of their lessers in their success could opt for the even pricier Centurion or Electra 225), and that's what I found among the Achievas and Cateras of this yard's GM section. Wasps now nest in the rust holes caused by rainwater seeping beneath the padded vinyl roof, but this car once told the world, "I've made it!" It went without saying that your big, comfy Detroit luxury sedan had a big, comfy front bench seat; let those frivolous rakehells in their Rivieras have their bucket seats. Believe it or not, a three-on-the-tree column-shift manual transmission was still standard equipment on the lower-level Buick Century in 1973, but all LeSabre buyers enjoyed two-pedal luxury that year. Some junkyard shopper grabbed the massive 455-cubic-inch (7.5-liter) V8 — rated at 225 horsepower, due to Nixon's stricter emissions standards and the switch from gross to net horsepower ratings — before I got here. I'm guessing this car got driven into the ground by the early 2000s (there's a 2001 calendar inside) and then spent the next couple of decades bleaching in the harsh South Bay sun before arriving here. So good, shoppers bought them sight unseen!
