2000 Buick Regal Ls Sedan 4-door 3.8l Pristine,one Owner, Low Mileage,nonsmoker. on 2040-cars
Fairhaven, Massachusetts, United States
Hellro, I'm Dickie. I started in the car business the year I graduated from college. ( 1974 ). I started using Ebay motors about ten years ago. Now I buy cars one at a time, thoroughly inspect them and if they meet my standards I'll buy them to sell here and locally. ( I don't buy trade-ins or cars people are getting rid of ). I also don't exaggerate about the condition of my cars. Words like: pristine, "like new" showroom condition etc. I very seldom use. This car is the exception. It was bought new on 6 - 9 - 2000, for over $24,000.00. ( one owner, non smoker ) The original window sticker was placed in a zip lock bag and put with the owner's manual in the glove compartment. The interior shows no wear, even the floor mats. I bought this car in the condition you see in the pictures. The engine compartment is as clean as the interior and the original paint is as glossy as it was when new. This car should be driven to really appreciate it's condition. My wife and I drive every one of our cars, so we are very familiar with every aspect of their condition. Simply put: This car is about the closest you can get to " new " that I have seen in the hundreds of cars I've sold in the last forty years. I truly mean that. Please read the window sticker to see what this car has. Too much to list here. This car needs absolutely nothing. Tires are like new as well as the four wheel disc brakes. It has had impeccable maintenance over the years. If you are near enough to me, you won't be disappointed if you come and take it for a drive. It's that nice. By the way, I only sell cars on this site,so you don't have to search my feedback for someone who bought a car from me. Every feedback from a buyer is for a car. No exceptions. So if you are in the market for a like new, pristine car under $4000.00, I don't think you will find a nicer one anywhere. I always put the limit (24) pictures on my listings so you can see just about everything. Click the picture on display and you will see every picture enlarged. Please call me, Dickie if you would like more information like: transportation, offers, airports etc. We are always available here at our home number: 508 994-9206. Take care, Dickie Dussault.

Opel Insignia OPC Sports Tourer shows its fresh face ahead of Frankfurt debut
Thu, 22 Aug 2013Drive down the Autobahn and there's any number of vehicles likely to pass you, and most of them are produced locally. But if you're wondering how that Opel left you in its dust, look closely (and quickly) enough and you might make out the letters OPC on the back.
They stand for Opel Performance Center (the German counterpart to Vauxhall's VXR line) and they adorn performance versions of the Corsa, Astra and Insignia. The latter is undergoing a bit of a refresh and is expected to debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in a couple of weeks, but you don't have to wait that long as our intrepid spy photographers have caught it in the flesh outside an Opel facility in Germany.
Spied here completely undisguised in Sports Tourer (read: wagon) form, the Insignia has had a few nips and tucks performed, but we'll be more intrigued to see what it's got under the hood. The current model packs a 2.8-liter twin-turbo V6 driving 325 horsepower to all four wheels, but rumors suggest that the OPC (yeah you know me!) could have as much as 400 hp up its sleeve. That would make this one heck of a sleeper - especially in wagon form - and only make us pine for a more potent version of its twin Buick Regal to roam our highways, too.
GM cutting production at two plants
Thu, Feb 26 2015General Motors is continuing to adjust to excess supply of some of its brands' models. To get production more in line with the vehicles' actual demand, the automotive giant is idling two of its factories in North America in the coming months. The Orion Assembly plant is going to be down from March 9-13, according to an anonymous plant worker and another insider speaking to Automotive News. The factory builds the Chevrolet Sonic and Buick Verano, but there are plenty of both models sitting on dealer lots, including 216 days worth of Sonics, according to AN. The factory already had two idle periods announced to reduce the excess. In addition, downtime is scheduled at GM's "Flex" line at the Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, plant from April 13-17. This affects supply of the Chevrolet Camaro, Impala, Buick Regal and Cadillac XTS. Among them, the automotive giant has the largest supply of Regals ready for dealers with 213 days worth of them, according to AN. The future for the whole Oshawa factory is cloudy in general, though. There are rumors that it could close entirely in the future because the Camaro is leaving and the Regal and XTS might not last much longer than 2017. The Canadian government and the labor union there intend to put up a fight, though. Jay Leno finds no detail neglected on Icon's Derelict 1948 Buick Super
Wed, Apr 1 2015Jonathan Ward seems to have one of the greatest jobs in the world. As the CEO at Icon, he's in charge of not only the company's fantastic trucks but its Derelict series of semi-restored classics, as well. Ward's vehicles are no strangers to Jay Leno's Garage, but the latest guest on the show might be one of Icon's coolest yet. What looks like a 1948 Buick Super Convertible on the outside hides the supercharged heart of a Corvette ZR1 underneath. Like the rest of the Derelict series, this old Buick's toasted paint and pitted chrome are all part of the charm of the car, and it's really a case of beauty being more than skin deep. The Super rides on a custom chassis and suspension to make the convertible a far better driver than even a pristine original example. Plus, Ward hides all sorts of modern upgrades inside that are practically invisible until he points them out. Leno absolutely falls in love with driving the Derelict Buick. If his enthusiasm grabs you, the video below from Ward goes much deeper into the build process of this awesome project.
