It could use new paint and detail work. it is a very very nice start to a car that is sure to be a highly collectible ride."

Here is a 1987 Buick grand national, intercooled turbo v-6. This car runs and drives good.  It is not a perfect car however it is a great start to a nice ride.  The exterior is black and shiny but could use a paint job. It has scratches and checking about the car.  The interior is pretty nice considering its age.  It does not have a headliner in the car. It was sagging and removed for safety reasons. This car has a scan master inside that works great (with manual). The ac has been retrofitted to r-134 A and works fine. When this car was new it was taken to Ken Bell and had some performance upgrades. There is a brass plaque on the console stating it was at ken bell performance shop And had some upgrades. I'm not sure what was done but you may be able to contact ken bell and find out. I'm sure they keep records of that stuff. Again I am not sure what they done to it but this car is quick. It boost up fine and takes off like a rocket when it's spooled up. If you've never driven a grand national you owe it to yourself to give one a spin. Below is a list of new items and things the car will need. This car has 104,000 miles (. May vary because I've been driving the car to work lately). This car is equipped with the following

Hard top (no t-tops)
Digital dash
Concert sound
Rear defrost
3.42:1 posi-trac rear end
Power windows
Power locks
Remote mirrors

Here are some new items recently installed on this car

New gas tank (correct Nos for digital dash)
New tires (235/60/15 BFG t/a radials) less than 500 miles
New bumper fillers
New alternator
New walbro fuel pump and sender
New brakes and rotors recently
New flow master mufflers and tail pipes new chrome test pipe and 3" down pipe. (Sounds great)

These things should be replaced but not required. The car does drive and run as is. I drove the car on 700 mile trip when I bought it. I had no problems.

Headliner
1 or 2 center caps
Paint and body work
Nitrogen ball for the power brake unit (it whines until it builds up pressure)
Some TLC and detail work.
Right hand window motor

Again this is not a show car and I am not implying that it is. However for the price I don't think you will find a nicer looking or driving car. I drive this car locally all the time. It looks amazing from 20 feet. When you get closer you start to see its 104,000 miles showing age.
The car does not have any rust holes on the exterior body. The drivers floor board may need a small patch in the future. Not bad at all. The spot is still solid and may be ok.  The only reason I'm selling is to fund a restoration project I have bought.  Please ask any questions you may have. I can put the car on a lift for inspections and I can assist in loading on a trailer if the buyer chooses to do so. I'm easy going and don't mind helping with the transportation logistics. Please do not buy this car if you do not intend on paying for it. I will not deal with any run around. If you buy the car or I accept an offer you must pay in full by PayPal , cash or bank transfer within 7 days. If i am not paid within 7 days the car will go back up for sale on the 8th day. I have this car for sale locally also so i reserve the right to end this auction at any time during its listing. I can keep the car inside for as long as you need(within reason) until you can figure out logistics. I am requiring a non refundable 500 dollar deposit at time of purchase.

2016 Buick Cascada convertible isn't afraid of Detroit's snow

Mon, Jan 12 2015

It's the great irony of introducing a convertible in Detroit – while the assembled media might look at the car and imagine warm weather and clear skies, the atmosphere outside is anything but. Such was the case Sunday as Buick rolled out the 2016 Cascada in Detroit's Eastern Market. Snow didn't dampen the atmosphere, though, as we clapped eyes on the sleek, Astra-based convertible for the first time. While this is far from the first product Buick has borrowed from General Motors' European operations, unlike previous vehicles, changes for the Cascada were kept to a minimum. There is no waterfall grille or four-way portholes, which Buick was sure to install when converting the Insignia and Mokka to the Regal and Encore. Then again, neither of these styling treatments were really necessary, as the Cascada remains a handsome and stylish offering. Its cabin is typical of other Buicks, and features a few too many buttons on the center stack. Still, a thick-rimmed, flat-bottomed steering wheel, similar to what's found in the Verano, is both attractive and functional, while the perforated leather seats looks quite comfortable, as well. Take a look at our gallery of live images, which includes shots of the Cascada with the top up and down, and then head back to our original post on the new convertible for all the mechanical details.

2019 Buick Envision First Drive Review | Still not a standout

Thu, Mar 15 2018

ATLANTA – "We're in the fashion business," executive chief engineer Rick Spina told us as he introduced the 2019 Buick Envision. "Except with a lot of technology." Spina was referring to the changing whims of new-car buyers, which have prompted Buick to give the compact Envision crossover its mid-generational update early — just 18 months into its lifecycle — and drop its prices across all trim levels. As with much of our consumer goods, the Envision is made in China. That doesn't seem to have hurt it in the market, even though it wears the badge of one of the most quintessentially American brands out there. It even aced the IIHS crash tests, putting it in league with Volvo, Mercedes-Benz and Lexus. There's good news and bad news about how the Envision is doing. It's now the third-best-selling model in the Buick portfolio, behind the three-row Enclave in second place and the surprise hit Encore subcompact crossover in first. Sam Russell, Buick's director of marketing, reported 73 percent growth in the past nine months versus the first half of its market life. A full 60 percent of Envision buyers are new to the GM family, too, and Russell says that nearly half of those are likely to buy another Buick SUV when the time comes to trade in the Envision. And yet, the Envision trails in luxury compact-crossover sales, behind mainstays such as the Audi Q5 and Acura RDX, even amid crossover demand in the U.S. that has companies like Nissan posting record sales numbers and Ford canceling a redesign of the Fusion. Our test of the 2017 Envision found it competent, but lacking that "X factor" that would send buyers of German and Japanese marques flocking. Instead, we compared it to the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Hyundai Santa Fe Sport, and deemed those both better values. Perhaps Buick feels the same, because the base 2019 Envision now starts at $32,990, a $2,000 cut from last year. The Preferred trim level sees a greater drop of $2,400, to $34,495. Rounding out the naturally aspirated 2.5-liter grades, the Essence's price falls $1,900 to $36,795. The turbocharged 2.0-liter Premium and Premium II trims get a discount of $1,600 and $1,400, respectively. With those prices come changes that Buick hopes will make the Envision a more compelling prospect. Outwardly, the Envision sports a new grille, a winged affair to replace the 2018's waterfall and bring it in line with the rest of Buick's lineup.
