Rare rare find!!! Every year or so we uncover another one of these highly sought after, super rare Buicks. They were the last of their breed, and are getting harder and harder to find! Your search is over! This is the one! This beautiful 1 owner Park Ave was owned by the "little old man who drove to church on Sundays." Finished in a beautiful Pearl White over a gorgeous Shale/ Cashmere leather interior. It is surely the right color combo! Since it was only driven to church on Sundays it has only accumulated 46k miles since new! So it has the right colors, the right miles, how about the options?? Its got those too! Factory chrome wheels, moon roof, heated leather seats, dual power seats, memory seats, dual zone climate control, steering wheel controls, keyless entry and so much more! Pride in ownership at its finest! Just traded in for a new car, and traded with all 3 keys, 2 remotes, books and paperwork, and ordinal floor mats. These cars are really amazing, they can get 30 mpg on the highway and give you the ride of a full sized car! We put this Buick through our service center and replaced the front pads and rotors, rotated the tires and now she is ready to be driven by its next owner! This car was so clean we are able to sell it as a Certified Pre-Owned with a nationwide 6 month 7,500 mile warranty! If you have been looking for a Park Ave, don't let this one slip by! This car is for sale by dealer. We are a small family run dealership in Billerica, MA. We list a few rare/ unique cars on eBay every now and again. Most don't make it until the end of the auction, and are sold quick! So if you have to have it, act quick! We included a buy it now price, this is the same price it is for sale on our lot for. Please keep in mind we could also sell the car locally. The last vehicle we sold on eBay here was another Park Ave, that had 33k miles and was sold to a gentleman in Alberta Canada! Check our feedback! Our rules are simple! If you win the auction or hit the buy it now, you bought the car. Feel free to contact us before with any and ALL questions. You can reach me Monday-Friday 9-6pm, Saturdays 9-5 Eastern Time!! Our number is 978-663-3325. My name is Anthony. If you would like to call and get some references on our dealership we can provide those also. We are 40+ years in the same town, selling cars to the folks who play softball with our kids, and the police who protect our town. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 48hrs of the auctions end. Please have your cash ready and funds set to buy the car. We will assist in shipping the car, however the cost to do so is your responsibility. You may also fly in and drive the car home, we will pick you up at our local air port! Massachusetts DOES NOT issue temp plates. If you plan on driving the car home you must bring plates from your state. You do not pay MA sales tax, unless your a local buyer. The price you pay at the end of the auction is the price the auction ends for, plus a $119 administration fee. Thats it! Movie Review: Black Air: The Buick Grand National Documentary

Thu, 06 Dec 2012

As Buick currently claws and scratches its way back into relevance to compete against luxury brands like Lexus and Acura, it's hard to believe that not too long ago, the brand had a car that was mentioned in the same breath as Corvette, Lamborghini and Ferrari. That car? None other than the Buick Grand National. All black with a turbocharged V6 and some of the quickest acceleration of its time, the Grand National, in today's standards, is along the lines of a 2013 Shelby GT500 with both cars essentially being a working man's supercar.
The last Grand National rolled off the assembly line in Flint, MI on December 11, 1987, and to mark the silver anniversary of that somber occasion, Black Air is a documentary of the Grand National from the perspective of the enthusiast, the collector, the media and even from those at General Motors responsible for creating such a sinister legend. Like the car itself, Andrew Filippone Jr. shoots the documentary in a raw fashion, and it definitely helps to show why a low-volume muscle car from the 1980s is still the object of obsession for many automotive enthusiasts to this day.

Buick Avenir concept struts into Motown

Mon, Jan 12 2015

We love auto show surprises, and Buick has already gifted us a sparkly package on the eve of the 2015 Detroit Auto Show. Dubbed Avenir, this four-door concept is said to signal the future of the Trishield brand by previewing a possible flagship sedan. Incorporating time-honored Buick design hallmarks like the sweep-spear profile, Ventiports, and even a subtle boattail rear-end, the four-place sedan is powered by a surprisingly real-world powertrain – namely a next-generation V6 with cylinder deactivation and stop/start, with the most interesting part of the driveline arguably being a "twin-clutch all-wheel-drive system" and a nine-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifters. Make no mistake, this is a big car. At 204.5 inches long, it's longer than a standard-wheelbase Cadillac Escalade – a span that's emphasized by the car's long hood and waterfall grille – though it's not quite as wide. While clearly a showcar, the beautifully crafted interior looks largely produceable, including attributes like a next-generation 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system and 4G LTE wifi, but we suspect a production car would pick up a third rear seatbelt and give away some of its flowing contours that are said to have been "inspired by nature and sea waves receding on a beach." No word yet on whether there's actually a showroom future for a car like this – it could simply be an exercise designed to test the waters for a next-generation LaCrosse. After all, sedans aren't exactly popular concept fodder these days, especially as crossovers continue to eat into traditional sedan sales in many of the world's markets. However, China still loves the coddling rear seats of a proper four-door sedan (which in this case include silk and bamboo elements), and with a majority of Buick sales happening in the People's Republic, the Asian nation controls the destiny of this General Motors brand. Said another way? Anything is possible, especially with General Motors known to be working on a large flagship sedan for Cadillac already – the Avenir is reportedly based on the same Omega architecture that will underpin the forthcoming CT6. What do you think? Is this a promising direction for the resurgent Buick? Scroll through our gallery, check out the video, and then have your say in Comments.

GM follows up Lambda CUV stop-sale with tire recall

Mon, Feb 9 2015

In late January, General Motors announced a stop-sale for about 6,281 examples of the 2015 Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia and Buick Enclave because of the possibility for the treads cracking on their 18-inch Goodyear Fortera HL tires. At the time, GM said that this would also eventually lead to a safety campaign to repair the problem, and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has just published those details. GM's recall covers 5,876 of the three Lambda platform crossovers to replace their tires. According to NHTSA, if the treads crack, there could be a loss of pressure and possible failure. Goodyear already announced its own recall of the tires after internal testing found small tread cracks. The company did not believe this was safety issue, but the problem did put the rubber out of compliance with federal laws. The business's safety campaign covered an estimated 48,512 tires. Of those, around 32,000 were reportedly made for GM to either be fitted to vehicles or sold as replacements. The remainder went to the aftermarket. Goodyear's portion of the recall is expected to begin around February 20. RECALL Subject : Tire Tread Cracking/FMVSS 110 Report Receipt Date: JAN 28, 2015 NHTSA Campaign Number: 15V044000 Component(s): TIRES Potential Number of Units Affected: 5,876 All Products Associated with this Recall Vehicle Make Model Model Year(s) BUICK ENCLAVE 2015 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE 2015 GMC ACADIA 2015 Details Manufacturer: General Motors LLC SUMMARY: General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2015 Buick Enclave vehicles manufactured December 9, 2014, to January 14, 2015, 2015 Chevrolet Traverse vehicles manufactured December 9, 2014, to January 20, 2015, and 2015 GMC Acadia vehicles manufactured December 9, 2014, to January 16, 2015, and all equipped with Goodyear P255/65R18 Fortera HL tires. These vehicles are equipped with tires that may experience tread cracking. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 110, "Tire Selection and Rims and Motor Home/Recreation Vehicle Trailer Load Carrying Capacity Information for Motor Vehicles with a GVWR of 4,536 kilograms (10,000 pounds) or Less." CONSEQUENCE: If the tire treads crack, a loss of tire pressure and possible tire failure may result, increasing the risk of a crash. REMEDY: GM will notify owners, and dealers will replace the tires that were manufactured within a specific date range, free of charge.
