Up for sale is an extremely beautiful 2009 Buick Lucerne CXL Special Edition with only 51571 documented miles.  Finished in Quick Silver Metallic complimented with light gray leather interior complimented with the wood grain accents.  This 2009 Buick Lucerne was owned by an 85 year old gentleman who felt it was time to down size.  Always garage kept and the beautiful condition throughout totally reflects the way this Lucerne was taken care of.

Now for the particulars

The paint on this beautiful 2009 Buick Lucerne is extremely nice.  Paint is all original with the exception of the front and rear bumper covers.  The front bumper cover was scuffed in the driveway and the rear bumper cover was scuffed in the parking lot.  The damage on both incidents was very minimal, both bumper covers were repaired, refinished and paint matches perfectly.  The body is very straight and clean and no rust.  The leather interior is like new with no signs of wear.  Also, this is a non-smoker car.

This Lucerne is completely loaded with all options with the exception of the V-8 engine.  Options include cruise control, both front power seats, factory sun roof, factory keyless entry with remote start, heated seats, heated steering wheel, power door locks, power windows, AM-FM-XM stereo radio with CD and much, much more.  All  the mechanicals  and options work perfectly.  The drive train consists of the 3.9 V-6 engine complimented with the four speed transmission.  Servicing was always performed using GM parts.  To be noted servicing was just performed and also a new Delco battery was installed.

What a great opportunity to own an extremely clean and very nice 2009 Buick Lucerne CXL Special Edition with only 51571 miles.  Again, loaded with all the great options and a fraction of what you would pay for a new Buick.

Though I do have the car for sale here on auction, I do reserve the right to end the auction at any time.  I will assist the buyer in any way possible.  Bid with confidence and if you have questions you may call me at 419-392-1003, Ron.  I will only discuss price by telephone and no text messages.  If you are the winning bidder you are responsible for shipping costs and a $1000.00 deposit within 48 hours of end of auction with full payment due in 7days, please review our terms.

Buick to add more GS models?

Fri, 29 Nov 2013

Buick may not be the first name that comes to mind when you think of performance automobiles, but fans of the brand know what letters to look for. If you believe the reports, there's a new GNX and Grand National on the way, but in the meantime, Buick may offer more GS models to fill the void.
Currently, the Regal is the only model available as a GS (pictured above), packing the same 259-horsepower turbo four as the Regal Turbo but enhanced with key suspension, brakes and rolling-stock upgrades. As Car and Driver notes, similar upgrades could easily be applied to the Verano and LaCrosse, although maybe not the Encore or Enclave crossovers. Of course, Buick would still have to steer clear of Cadillac's Vsport line, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have a little room to play.

Wagons make a bit of a comeback, with new models, sales on the rise

Thu, Jan 10 2019

Consider this an official invitation to hop on the wagon bandwagon. There's still tons of room because, well, it's a wagon (and market share is still extremely small). But according to new data, the segment is growing. According to a report from Bloomberg, using data from Edmunds.com, roughly 211,600 Americans purchased wagons in 2018. That is technically down from the 237,600 sold in 2017, but wagon sales in the U.S. are up 29 percent from where they were five years ago. It's also the third year in a row that wagon sales broke the 200,000 mark. The sales trends have been somewhat representative of the availability of wagons. New models have debuted during the past 5 years and therefore offer more opportunity at more brands to buy wagons. In addition to more modest cars such as the Volkswagen Golf Sportwagen, several luxury and performance brands are offering wagons today, such as Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche, Jaguar, Volvo and Buick. (Bloomberg's headlines make the point that "crossovers are for the Kardashians," and wagons are just, well, classier.) This uptick in brand-name availability, as well as extremely well-executed design on most of the wagons currently available, has helped increase the segment's desirability. That, and its ability to better accomplish the same tasks at hand while standing out from the crossover and SUV crowd. Still, the posted numbers represent a small fraction of the total vehicles sold. According to the data, wagons only held a 1.4 percent market share in 2017, the segment's best recent year. Wagons hold a steadfast place in America's past, and they're writing an interesting new story. With the downturn in traditional cars, they may continue to create an unexpected narrative. 2014 Buick Regal GS

Mon, 09 Sep 2013

A few months ago I drove the 2014 Buick LaCrosse and wrote up a First Drive review of it. For all of my quibbles with that sedan (and I had a fair number), I understand that it speaks to the heart of what new Buick loyalists like in a car; it's roomy, has a cushy ride and is as placid as a summer's morning at highway speeds.
Those qualities, while undeniably desirable, don't mean a whole lot to me personally. I prefer sedans that conjure up words like "nimble," "punchy" or even "raucous" on occasion. So, directionally, the high-performance GS version of the 2014 Buick Regal is more my cup of tea than any other car in the company's current range.
In fact, I'd already come to know the Regal GS from its 2012 model year introduction, and grown more than a little fond of the sporting sedan in its original front-wheel-drive, six-speed-manual guise. The fast, sweet-handling car with well-sorted controls may have suffered from a slight identity crisis in terms of pricing (and may still), but it was undeniably fun to drive. So, when I heard that the GS was coming to market for 2014 with optional all-wheel drive (albeit only in combination with a six-speed automatic transmission), I was stoked to have another go and concentrated my driving impressions on the AWD car.
