This is a great car for the money and it won't last long. First come, first serve.
NO RESERVE I have been using this car as my daily driver for years. I just bought another car so I am selling this car. I bought this car with 19,000 miles on it, it now has 155,931 on it and still runs great. There are some scratches and a red mark of paint on the driver's side door. In the spirit of full disclosure - the A/C doesn't work and the gas gauge doesn't work (I just use the trip and reset it when I fill up). All four of the automatic windows work, wipers work, the wiper spray, the cruise control works, the tires are all good and match, the heater works, the defroster works, the trunk is nice, the donut and jack are included. All of the hazards, blinkers, turn signals and lights work as well. The radio works great, I just put it in a short time ago, it also has a working remote control. You can use your phone through the auxiliary connection on your phone to listen to music on your phone. The radio also has a USB connection. I have at least one working key fob for the car as well. All in all this is a GREAT car for the money! The NADA for a car like this is over $4,000 (check it out) I ACCEPT PAY PAL and CASH. LOCAL PICK UP ONLY (unless you want to make ALL of the arrangements that go along with shipping the car - I really don't want any part of that). |

GM recalling over 243,000 crossovers over possible seat belt defect

The summer of 2010's recall hit parade continues unabated today, with General Motors having just announced that it is asking 243,403 owners of its 2009-2010 Lambda crossovers to bring their three-row haulers in for inspection. The culprit? Second-row seat belts in select Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia, and Saturn Outlook CUVs have "failed to perform properly in a crash."
According to GM, a second-row seat-side trim piece is to blame, as it can impede the upward rotation of the buckle after the seat is folded flat. As a result, if the buckle makes contact with the seat frame, cosmetic damage can occur, potentially requiring additional force to operate the buckle properly. So far, no great shakes, but in the process of applying that additional force, the occupant may push the buckle cover down to the strap, potentially revealing and depressing the red release button. As a result of this, the belt may not latch, or in certain cases, it may actually appear to be latched when, in fact, it isn't.
Ford GT, Buick Avenir and Audi Q7 take 2015 EyesOn Design awards
Thu, Jan 15 2015The annual EyesOn Design Awards at the Detroit Auto Show allows some of the greatest designers in the world to weigh in on the best production and concept debuts at the big event each year. For 2015, the large panel of judges included luminaries like Frank Stephenson of McLaren, Ralph Gilles from FCA and Moray Callum of Ford. Apparently the editors at Autoblog had a good eye because the winner of 2015's Best Designed Production Vehicle award went to the Ford GT, which was also our favorite debut from the show. The new supercar beat the Acura NSX and Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class Coupe for the honor. The judges described the Blue Oval's shape as "capturing the original GT40 in a modern interpretation," according to EyesOn Design. The Buick Avenir was also a big winner in the awards this year and received the nods for both Best Designed Concept Vehicle and Innovative Use of Color, Graphics and Materials. In the concept category, it beat out the Chevrolet Bolt and Mercedes-Benz F 015, and in the latter group, the sedan triumphed over Audi Q7, Mercedes F 015 and Volkswagen Cross Coupe GTE. The Q7 received its own accolade for Best Designed Interior, and it beat the Avenir and Infiniti Q60 for the honor. This year's Lifetime Design Achievement Award went to former Renault designer Patrick le Quement, and Bob Lutz received the EyesOn Design Catalyst Award for the second time. The honor is for an executive "who has empowered great design," according to the organization, which describes Lutz perfectly. MotorWeek remembers the nearly forgotten Buick Reatta
Thu, Feb 18 2016The Reatta was Buick's failed experiment to take on European competitors with its own two-seat luxury coupe and convertible. The model only lasted a few years, and US customers didn't see another droptop from the brand until the Cascada. The latest MotorWeek Retro Review takes a look back at the short-lived roadster and remembers it quite fondly. Host John Davis calls the 1990 Reatta droptop "one of the best looking convertibles ever." His sentiment seems a little hyperbolic, but the roadster is definitely an attractive machine by the standards of the time. The smooth front end and pop-up headlights are reminiscent of Japanese sports cars of era, and the profile with the top down is elegant. There are weaknesses, though. The manual roof mechanism appears cumbersome to operate, and the crude digital instruments, which simulate physical dials, make the cabin look too dated. Other than a complaint about over-boosted power steering, MotorWeek enjoys how the Reatta drives, too. Buick's roadster is largely forgotten today, but such glowing praise suggests it deserves to be better remembered.
