This is a beautiful, rust-free example of one of the premier mid-seventies floaters that spent the majority of its life in the midwest (not in the snowy Northeast) ready to be enjoyed! I just had a brand new top professionally installed by an outfit that specializes in scissor top installations, which has become are very narrow field of expertise. The body and paint are in excellent shape, as well as the optional rally rims that play off the body lines of this car like nothing else. The interior is equally stunning and all options work as they should. The stereo, power windows, power seats, speed sentinel all work great. I had her out for a cruise yesterday (it was 85 degrees out) and the A/C wasn't blowing quite as cold as I would like, so I am going to have it looked at and corrected before it goes to its new owner. I'm a stickler for details like that, because it those little things that bring the true charm to owning a classic car. The front seat has been freshly reupholstered, which included a new seat bottom and back and a re-cushioning, so it looks AND feels like new ! I would drive this car anywhere. I was at a classic car auction in January and watched a LeSabre convertible nearly identical to mine (same year, engine size, body color and wheels) go for $16,500, so these cars are beginning to get the recognition they truly deserve. Think of it, you can drive this car essentially like any other contemporary car -- no unusual routine to get it started, no fancy fuel additives needed, nice automatic transmission -- and your whole family can use it with the assurance that it should always perform well. I would let my teenage kids drive it in a heartbeat, unlike some classic cars that just have so much raw horsepower that they are almost dangerous to inexperienced drivers. These mid-seventies convertibles are really the best of all worlds for pure summer enjoyment and are beginning to see the commensurate uptick in their valuations as nicely preserved examples become more rare and sought after ever year. They have enough 'modern' refinements to make them very worry-free and accessible to you AND the wife, while at the same time transmitting that big engine, big car feel that has been lost along our way to the uber-digitized automotive reality we find ourselves shoehorned into with the cars of today. That is what makes them truly special. I love all classics, so I will consider trades as well. Thanks for viewing

GM to offer 2 years free maintance on most 2014 models
Thu, 06 Jun 2013A day after Ford announced it was scaling back the complimentary maintenance program for its Lincoln brand, General Motors has gone in the completely opposite direction, offering most of its 2014 lineup with free maintenance. Since 2011, Cadillac models have all come with a four-year/50,000-mile complimentary maintenance program, but Chevrolet, Buick and GMC vehicles will now come standard with free maintenance for two years or 24,000 miles for the 2014 model year.
The program will give vehicle owners and lessees free oil changes, tire rotations and 27-point inspections following the recommended maintenance schedule laid out in each vehicle's owner's manual. We contacted GM to see which vehicles were eligible for the program, and a spokesperson got back to us with the following comment:
"All 2014 models are eligible, it's just that the included services vary by model, e.g., Spark EV would not need oil changes, Corvettes don't recommend tire rotations."
Buick Envision cabin detailed ahead of reveal later this month
Sun, 17 Aug 2014Buick teased the arrival of the China-market Envision last month and gave us a few specs, now it's teasing the midsize crossover's interior and features. Having said it will "set a new benchmark in terms of space, safety, performance and specifications," we're told that equipment like the heated leather steering wheel and Bose-sourced active noise cancellation are market firsts in the segment.
Elsewhere, light will shine on occupants through the panoramic roof during the day and via ice blue ambient lighting at night, and seating surfaces are being shown off with dual-stitched leather. Lane departure warning and parking assist help keep the bodywork in order, stop/start ignition fitted to the 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder with 256 horsepower and 260 pound-feet will help keep fuel economy up. One more convenience for the model's core buyers: a tailgate that can be partially opened.
The Normal, Tour, Sport and Off-Road driving modes come courtesy of FlexRide, that last one - meant for extra-light-duty dirt work, naturally - appearing on a Buick for the first time.
Sunday Drive: A tale of old favorites and upcoming challengers
Sun, Oct 8 2017Sedans and crossovers dominated the attention of our readers last week, led by the completely redesigned 2018 Honda Accord. It's the Japanese automaker's flagship, and people are seriously interested in finding out how good the latest Accord is. So interested, in fact, that no other single story came close to the brand-new Accord in Autoblog reader interest. Moving down the list we find the equally new 2018 Buick Enclave. The three-row crossover has a lot to offer a family, especially one looking for a nice, quiet ride. If you're looking for the exact opposite of nice and quiet, but still want enough room for you and your significant others, the Subaru WRX that we tested last week may be the perfect ride for you. Or, if you just want to drive fast and aren't at all worried about space, there's the Camaro SS. See? We offer something for everybody. From there, we look to the future. Who isn't interested in seeing the first fully electric vehicle from Porsche? And who isn't intrigued to see the Mission E testing alongside a gaggle of Teslas? A brand-new Jeep is always a big deal, especially when it's the revival of a classic nameplate like the Grand Wagoneer. And finally, we have something completely different: the Rezvani Tank. As always, tune in to Autoblog next week for a front-row seat to all the happenings worth following in the automotive industry. 2018 Honda Accord First Drive | Feels like home again 2018 Buick Enclave First Drive Review | Fortress of quietude 2018 Subaru WRX Drivers' Notes | Turbo traditionalist 2018 Chevy Camaro SS Drivers' Notes | Demonstrative power, middling interior Porsche Mission E caught testing against Teslas Jeep three-row SUV caught on public roads — Grand Wagoneer, perhaps?
