If you have been looking for a clean, low mile car in great shape then you are going to LOVE my 2001 Buick Century with only 38k original miles and clean inside and out! This Century looks great and drives tight as new with no issues and will deliver great gas mileage as well. It has a clean Autocheck showing no accidents or problems and it received a great score of 57 out of an average rating on these cars of between 26-56 points so you know it has a great history. It's just a very pleasent car to drive and very comfortable, economical and dependable. The exterior looks wonderful and has a brand new paint job done well. The original paint was getting a bit faded from age, there were no dents or rust to fix. So with the new paint there are no nicks, scratches or bug stains and the deep burgundy is a beautiful color and it is also the orginal color as well. The tires have good tread remaining to help give it a smooth and quiet Buick ride. The interior is in very nice shape and there are no stains, rips or odors and this is a non-smoker's car so it is very fresh inside. The seats are comfortable and there is plenty of head and legroom both front and rear and a good sized trunk that too is nice and clean. All the power options work great including the ice cold air conditioning and there is a CD and cassette stereo, ( the rear speakers only play at low volume). Look it over good, it is a VETY attractive car. What a pleasure to drive. The peppy V-6 runs smooth as silk and should with only 38k miles and it will deliver great gas mileage as well. The brakes are smooth as is the transmission and suspension with no shakes or rattles, just as you would expect from a low mile, well cared for Buick. These Century's are known to be very dependable and economical to own and they again are very pleasent to drive. It's a whole lot of car for the money and I'm sure once you see and take it for a spin around the block you are sure to fall in love and with only 38k miles you will be in love for a long, long time. Customer is responsible to obtain their own insurance on any vehicle purchased. Insurance is provided by the transport company for all vehicles during shipping, but my insurance ceases to cover anything once it is sold. All vehicles 10 or more years old are sold exempt from mileage guarantees unless specifically mentioned. If I have documentation to back up the miles on these older cars, I will.

Florida residents must include 6% sales tax. According to Florida law, if an out of state purchaser takes delivery of a vehicle in the state of Florida I am obligated as a licensed dealer to collect your states sales tax, not to exceed 6%, you will not be charged twice. This does not apply to vehicles shipped out of state, only ones picked up in Florida.

Buyer assumes the cost of shipping. I already have contacts to ship the vehicle anywhere in the USA,I will arrange this for you, and give you cost estimate ahead of time. If you are going to fly in, I will gladly arrange transportation from the Ft. Myers International Airport if you so desire.

All titles are guaranteed to be clean and free of any liens but in rare occasions there could be a delay in title transfer due to bank delays from loan payoffs.

Repo man pays off elderly couple's car just in time for Thanksgiving

Repo men get bad raps for a good reason; no one likes having their car taken away. At least one guy in the repossession game proved folks in his profession aren't all bad when he helped an elderly couple hold on to their wheels right before Thanksgiving. According to the Belleville News-Democrat, unexpected bills and the rising cost of prescription medications pushed Stanford and Patty Kipping's fixed income to the breaking point. Unable to keep up with the $95 dollar a month payment on their 1998 Buick, they fell into arrears and the bank sent a repo man out to their home in Red Bud, Illinois to reclaim the car. Jim Ford, co-owner of Illini Recovery Inc., hooked up the old Buick and dragged it away, but later that night his conscience caught up with him. "When I got home that night, I said to myself, 'They are a real nice elderly couple. I gotta do something. I can't just take their car,'" Ford told the News-Democrat. Ford did do something, something surprisingly humane. He set up a GoFundMe and, within just a few short hours, he raised more than $3,500 dollars. This was enough money to pay off the Kipping's loan with a little left over for some maintenance. Ford and a friend then hooked the car back up and towed it back to the Kipping's home. Ford presented the couple with their trusty Buick, and threw in a thousand dollars in an envelope and a frozen turkey for Thanksgiving. "It was a miracle come true," Patty told the paper. "We didn't know what we were going to do." "I got up this morning and I looked up at the sun and I said, 'I hope we get our car back,'" added Stanford. GM recalling 316k vehicles due to headlamp faults

General Motors has announced a recall covering 316,357 vehicles globally, due to the possibility of sporadic or permanent failure of the low-beam headlamps. 273,182 of these vehicles are in the United States, while the remaining affected units are in Canada, Mexico, and elsewhere. This recall includes the 2006-09 Buick LaCrosse (pictured above), 2006-07 Chevy TrailBlazer and TrailBlazer EXT, 2006-07 GMC Envoy and 2006 GMC Envoy XL, 2006-07 Buick Rainier, 2006-08 Saab 9-7X, and 2006-08 Isuzu Ascender. In an email sent to Autoblog, General Motors explains that if the headlamp driver modules are not functioning correctly, "the low-beam headlamps and daytime running lamps could intermittently or permanently fail to illuminate." GM states that this problem does not affect things like high-beams, turn signals, marker lamps, or foglamps. As of this writing, GM states it "has not been able to confirm whether the HDMs in these vehicles caused any vehicle accidents." The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has been notified, but the recall has not yet posted to the government agency's website. Scroll down to read the full details in GM's email. The total population, including the U.S., Canada, Mexico and exports from North America is 316,357. The NHTSA was sent the Part 573 information for this recall on November 25. It has not yet posted to the NHTSA website.
