1986 Buick Regal Grand National! 20,600 Miles! From The Rick Hendrick Collection on 2040-cars
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, United States
YOU HAVE JUST DISCOVERED ONE OF THE NICEST GRAND NATIONALS FOR THE MONEY WITH SUCH LOW MILES!! THE MILES ARE AN ACCURATE 20,600!! THE CAR SPEAKS FOR ITSELF, AND IS A SHOW STOPPER!! AND THIS IS NOT YOUR AVERAGE GRAND NATIONAL EITHER!! HERE ARE A COUPLE OF NEAT THINGS ABOUT THIS CAR. FOR ONE, IT WAS PURCHASED LAST YEAR BY MY CUSTOMER FROM RICK HENDRICK IN CHARLOTTE WITH 19,500 MILES ON IT AND HE PAID $22,500.00. SECONDLY, THIS PARTICULAR CAR WAS ORDERED WITH POWER WINDOW DELETE, POWER DOOR LOCK DELETE, AND CRUISE CONTROL DELETE. I WOULD ASSUME FOR A LIGHTER AND EVEN FASTER GRAND NATIONAL!! I THINK THAT IS PRETTY UNIQUE AND MAKES THE CAR EVEN MORE RARE!!
THERE IS NOT MUCH NEGATIVE THAT I CAN SAY ABOUT THIS CAR. DON'T LIKE CALLING IT A PERFECT 10, SINCE IT IS USED AND HAS A FEW MILES, BUT I HAVE TO TELL YOU IT IS EXTREMELY CLOSE!!! I WOULD SAY THE INTERIOR IS PRETTY MUCH PERFECT!! VERY VERY CLEAN, WITH NO STAINS, RIPS OR TEARS!! ACTUALLY STILL SMELLS NEW! THE SEATS DON'T LOOK LIKE THEY HAVE ONE BIT OF WEAR. DASH, DOOR PANELS AND HEADLINER ARE ALL PERFECT!! JUST LIKE LOOKING AT A NEW ONE!!! YOU WILL BE 100% HAPPY WHEN YOU OPEN THE DOORS!! THE EXTERIOR AND PAINT IS SO SLICK!! THIS GRAND NATIONAL HAS A SUPER DEEP SHINE AND A VERY NICE SMOOTH FINISH. APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN WET SANDED AND BUFFED!! VERY QUALITY PAINT!! NO NICKS OR SCRATCHES ANYWHERE. THERE WERE A COUPLE OF VERY MINOR STONE CHIPS THAT HAVE BEEN TOUCHED UP, BUT BLACK IS EASY TO TOUCH UP, SO IF I HADN'T MENTIONED THEM, YOU WOULD NEVER KNOW THEY WERE THERE. AGAIN, A VERY APPEALING AND SLICK PAINT AND BODY!! UNDERCARRIAGE IS CLEAN AS WELL. ORIGINAL, BUT CLEAN! UNDER THE HOOD IS VERY CLEAN AS WELL AND SHOWS LIKE A 20,000 MILE CAR SHOULD SHOW! AND NOT MOLESTED ONE BIT!!! EVERYTHING AND I MEAN EVERYTHING IS ORIGINAL. THE TIRES ARE PROBABLY NOT, AND THE RADIO HAS BEEN CHANGED TO A CD PLAYER, BUT NOTHING HAS BEEN CHANGED. ASIDE FROM THAT, TOTALLY UNMOLESTED!!! THIS IS JUST THE CAR YOU SHOULD BE LOOKING FOR!! NOT TOO EXPENSIVE, BUT EXTREMELY SLICK AND ORIGINAL!!! AS TO PERFORMANCE.................YEAH IT'S FAST!! RUNS AND DRIVES PERFECT, SHIFTS PERFECT, AND SOUNDS SWEET!!! EVERYTHING WORKS AS IT SHOULD ASIDE FROM THE POWER ANENNA. A/C BLOWS EXTREMELY COLD AND EVERYTHING IN THE CAR WORKS RIGHT!! GAUGES ALL WORK AS WELL! AGAIN, NOTHING MUCH NEGATIVE TO SAY! IT IS REALLY A STAND UP GRAND NATIONAL!! NO DISAPPOINTMENTS ON THIS ONE!!! WHEN PEOPLE SEE THIS CAR, THEY ARE TRULY AMAZED HOW NICE IT IS AND HOW WELL PRESERVED IT IS!! YOU WILL BE HAPPY WITH THIS ONE!! NOW THE BUY IT NOW IS SET AGGRESSIVELY LOW!! YOU CAN CHECK AROUND AND AT THIS MILEAGE RANGE, IN THIS CONDITION, MOST FOLKS WANT MID 20'S!!! AT 19,900, I FEEL AS IF THIS IS A GIFT!! I WOULDN'T HESITATE IF YOU ARE SERIOUS. DO NOT LET THIS ONE GET AWAY!! YOU COULD BUY A 70,000 MILE EXAMPLE AND PAY CLOSE TO $15,000.00, OR YOU COULD STEAL THIS ONE AT $19,900!! BID WITH CONFIDENCE AS I HAVE 100% PERFECT FEEDBACK ON EVERY SINGLE CAR DEAL I HAVE EVER DONE!! A PRE-SALE INSPECTION IS WELCOME, BUT PLEASE DO SO BEFORE YOU BID! 2014 Buick Regal priced from $29,690*
Mon, 09 Sep 2013Buick has announced pricing for the refreshed 2014 Regal. The base model offers a 2.0-liter, turbocharged, 259-horsepower, four-cylinder engine for $30,615 (*after $925 delivery and destination fee). The standard turbo can be replaced by Buick's eAssist mild hybrid system for $32,485. The electrified powertrain delivers 36 miles per gallon, in place of the turbo's 30 mpg on the highway.
The big powertrain news for 2014 is the inclusion of an all-wheel-drive system for an extra $2,175. Marking one of the few uses of all-wheel drive on a Buick car, the new Regal AWD has an electronic, limited-slip differential and a HiPer Strut front suspension, which is the same front arrangement used on the hot, front-drive Regal GS.
Speaking of the Regal GS, it's not so hot for 2014. It sports the same 259-horsepower engine as the standard Regal, but offsets that with a wealth of standard, optional or flat-out exclusive equipment like active dampers, Brembo brakes and a Bose stereo. Prices (all including the $925 fee) start at $37,830. Like the standard car, the GS will be available with all-wheel drive for the first time, bringing it a bit more in line with its cousins across the pond - Opel Insignia OPC and Vauxhall Insignia VXR. Prices for the GS AWD start at $40,195.
2017 Buick LaCrosse First Drive
Fri, Aug 5 2016The 2017 Buick LaCrosse seems destined to never get the credit it deserves. It's bound to be dismissed as just another full-size sedan relic, ignored by those who habitually visit their Lexus dealer every few years for a new ES. This new LaCrosse will inevitably be overshadowed in the Buick showroom by SUVs and never fully appreciated by the majority of its buyers who simply want a big, comfy, and quiet car. That destiny would be a shame. The completely redesigned LaCrosse is now a legitimate luxury car, not because advertisements say it is, but for the way it drives, the way it looks, and the way it cossets you inside. The former is really the most impressive, since it's also the most surprising. During the LaCrosse press launch in Portland, Oregon, Buick boasted how comfortable and exceedingly quiet the car is, and indeed, it isolates road imperfections and allows for a pair of low talkers to converse in subdued tones. The big Buick sedan's low-effort steering will also satisfy the nice-and-easy tastes of most drivers. The best way to describe driving the LaCrosse is "unwaveringly pleasant." Yet, during that pleasant drive, road dips and mid-corner undulations don't make the comfort-tuned suspension bob and bound like its competitors might. Its body control and generally planted nature encourage speeds and confidence to creep ever so higher through successive sweeping corners on Oregon's densely forested Mist-Clatskanie Highway. Even that low-effort steering demonstrates precision, linearity, and just enough feedback to further spur on such a pace. This unexpected capability is best observed on cars equipped with the optional 20-inch wheels, which supplant the standard 18s and, more importantly, bring with them Continuous Damping Control (CDC) and GM's HiPer Strut front suspension, which is designed to quell torque steer and further improve cornering grip. You don't even have to engage CDC's firmer Sport mode to appreciate the LaCrosse's surprisingly sharp road manners. "We unleashed the engineers," chief engineer Jeffrey Yanssens said after our test drive. "I told them, 'I don't care how much it costs. I want you to know your system and I want your system to be the best it can be. What do you have to do to make that happen and what can I do to enable you to make that happen?'" Yanssens is honest and clearly proud of his team's work.
