This 1991 Regal Limited is like new! You really have to see to believe. 22,500 miles I am adding a few miles daily. I aqcuired the car from the estate of the elderly owner who is now deceased. I still have the one owner title from new. The headliner and the velour around the doors is as new. the armrests on the doors and in the center look to have never been used. All the window switches look new and the cruise control/wiper/turn signal stalk look as new. I pulled an autocheck and it confirms a one owner with no accidents and no odometer fraud. It still has what I believe to be 3 of the original Goodyear Invicta (discontinued) tires. It has one replacement Michelin Rainforce (also discontinued). the spare is original and looks to be never used. the original floormats have mats over them and they look excellent as well as the carpet and leather. Everywhere you look the car looks like 22k miles. The car is how I bought it. Very clean but not detailed. Notice no "armor all" on tires and such. I like to leave engine bays as is. No cover ups.
The car has a new battery and alternator. all fluids look good. Clean and clear transmission fluidFresh oil change. All power options work and the power antenna still works!! Radio does not sound to good tho but it works. The heat and a/c seem to work fine as well as all other functions. Cruise and guages work. I did notice the fuel gauge waivers, but works otherwise. no smoker. no paintwork. all vin numbers are on the panels. Oh and it has the 3800 v-6 which I think was an option over the standard 3100. It runs and shifts like a new one should. It does not leak a drop of oil and sounds great. Its Just a great car! email or call and leave a message if you have specific questions. Thanks and feel free to make an offer!
The car is 22yrs old so there are a few minor nicks and dings..I found 3 tiny dings around the body and 2 nicks around driver door handle..The driver seat looks new except for high on the seatback it looks like someone got in the car with something sharp in their back pocket..It looks like a "scrape" in the leather. I have a pic if someone wants me to email it to them. The handle to open the hood on the inside of the car broke off in my hand! oops! But you can still release the hood with whats left to pull.
If the buy it now is met I will put a new set of tires on the car. Private sales in Ga do not require tax if the car is sold and picked up before March 1st 2013....Gotta love new laws
See videos below of the car taking a drive. I have the window down in the first few seconds so listene for the noise difference. And take a look at the turn signal stalk and see how it shows ZERO wear. this car is so cool!

A little about me...I am 40 yrs old and a car freak. I currently have 4 cars and a Vespa! It a hobby of mine for the past 20 yrs. I have bought, owned and sold probably 30 cars in my life. I am not a dealer but I am currently going thru the process to become one in a few months. I specialize mostly in old Mercedes diesels and old Volvos. However I love anything older American that has low miles or at least 1 or 2 owners. I recently sold a 1993 Lexus that WE had actually had since it was new for under $1000 but I have also sold a 1985 Mercedes 300d for $13000 so I have some eBay experience. I also sell Masters Golf tickets every year with great feedback so I am a very good seller to deal with. Please feel free to email me with ANY questions or comments. I appreciate them! Thanks Joe
On Jan-31-13 at 10:43:51 PST, seller added the following information:
The Regal is being outfitted with a complete new a/c system!! After some further servicing of the car my mechanic discovered the a/c clutch was on its way out so I have given the go ahead to make it all new again. This is close to $1000 worth of additional work. I wanted this Buick to be the best one you can find for the money and the mileage. So keep in mind while bidding this car has a new battery, alternator, complete a/c compressor, drier and related parts. This will be one nice Regal for the new owner..Thanks

The new Opel Insignia might be a great Buick, but it's a sad Holden Commodore
Thu, Dec 8 2016Since the first shots of the uncovered Opel Insignia hit our inboxes, we've been filled with excitement for the new sedan. It looks great, it should come to America with little to no visual changes as the Buick Regal, and we might even get a wagon version. Unfortunately, there's a lead lining to this silver cloud, and it comes to us from Down Under. You see, the Opel Insignia is also undergoing a re-badging job in Australia to become the new Holden Commodore. It's replacing the beloved rear-drive Commodore (with an optional V8 and ultra-high performance HSV variants) with a front-drive-based platform offering four- or six-cylinder engines. This is depressing news considering the Zeta-platform underpinning the Commodore VF spawned the Pontiac G8, Chevrolet SS, and fifth-generation Camaro. Knowing this was going to happen doesn't help much either. What makes it all worse is that the new Commodore doesn't have a shred of unique styling in the bodywork. That's not an exaggeration. A new grille with a Holden lion badge instead of an Opel lightning bolt badge is the only change. See for yourself in the Insignia gallery below. Not only did GM erase a unique Australian model, it didn't even allow the brand to give the car a distinct shape. It's sort of like when Ford planned to replace the Mustang with the Mazda-derived Probe. The Probe wasn't that bad for the time, but it was no Mustang. At least in that case the Mustang survived. View 12 Photos Before we get ourselves too down, we should mention that there are reasons to be hopeful for the future. For one thing, the new all-wheel-drive Commodore/Insignias will come with a version of the GKN-developed rear differential found in the Focus RS and Range Rover Evoque, which is pretty neat on its own. And Opel/Vauxhall have always had wild performance versions of the Insignia and its Vectra predecessor. The last one made 325-horsepower and had all-wheel-drive. A new one would likely produce much more, since one of the available V6s makes 308 horsepower. Then imagine all of that extra hypothetical horsepower hooked up to the all-wheel-drive system that introduced us to "drift mode." Not only that, but rear-drive Holdens may not be completely dead yet. A Belgian man announced his intention to buy an old Holden factory along with the tooling and rights for the car once it was discontinued. His plan is to continue producing the old model after Holden is done with it.
Is that a Cascada on Buick's Detroit show stand?
Sat, Jan 10 2015The above image is a close-up of one particular car spotted in a rendering that Buick provided of its stand at next week's Detroit Auto Show. Two doors, four seats, no top, deep and arcing shoulder line - any idea what that might be? We're going to guess it's the coming Buick Cascada, only we're stretching the definition of the word "guess" since the car is a dead ringer for the Americanized Opel droptop, which we drove more than a year ago. Looks like it's finally going to get the 'Official' treatment as a 2016 model, after it was shown to dealers last August. There have also been rumors that the car will be called Velite, but newer rumblings out of the Renaissance Center suggest that such gossip is a dead-end. The Cascada will enter a segment with no real competitors, since the Chrysler 200 ragtop is gone and a Buick convertible vs. Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro convertibles isn't really a thing, and we think will make a nice expansion of the brand's model-range footprint. The big bit of news we're waiting for is what's going to power it, a Euro-sourced four-cylinder with 168 or 197 horsepower? We don't have long to wait to find out. Junkyard Gem: 1985 Buick Somerset Regal Limited
Fri, Aug 10 2018The Oldsmobile, Buick and Cadillac divisions of The General's mighty army got serious about their attempts to compete with futuristic and stylish German and Japanese coupes during the second half of the 1980s, with cars such as the Cadillac Allante, Oldsmobile Toronado Trofeo, and Buick Reatta. They featured edgy styling, wild digital dashes, and other interesting gadgetry. Before them, however, came the Buick Somerset. Built for the 1985 through 1987 model years, only the '85s were badged as Somerset Regals. Here's one of those ultra-rare cars, spotted in a San Francisco Bay Area self-service wrecking yard. This badging confused many Buick shoppers at the time, because the 1985 Regal was a "traditional" midsize rear-wheel-drive car, based on the increasingly antiquated G-Body platform, and the Somerset Regal was an N-Body front-wheel-drive compact. For 1985 and 1986, the car became the Buick Somerset. The interior is your standard Whorehouse Red velour, a theme used by everybody from Nissan to Chrysler during the 1985-1995 period. This cloth looks pretty nice for a car from sunny California. Digital dashes became very trendy during this period, with Mitsubishi, Subaru, Nissan, and even Toyota getting into the act during the first part of the decade, and everyone else jumping on the bandwagon a bit later. The radio face went into this weird pod perched over the HVAC controls, which looked like something from the Mars Base and made aftermarket audio-system installation nearly impossible. The factory cassette deck, if desired, had to go elsewhere in the console. The base engine in the Somerset Regal was the decidedly un-European Iron Duke four-cylinder with 92 horsepower, but this car has the optional 120-horse 3.0-liter V6. In theory, a 5-speed manual transmission was available, but I'm guessing that the quantity of so-equipped Somerset Regals was numbered in the high dozens. There's plenty of hard red plastic and fake wood inside, of course. Base price on a V6 Somerset Regal Limited came to $10,026 (about $24,000 in 2018 dollars). Meanwhile, a Pontiac Grand Am LE with the 3.0 V6 was nearly the same car and listed at $8,970. If you wanted even crazier electronics and an interior that looked like something out of a jet fighter, the 1985 Subaru XT GL had a $9,899 price tag. Give me savvy. Give me cool. Give me a car that breaks all the rules. Give me the look. Give me the feel. Give me the magic. Give me the wheel.
