1969 Buick Electra 225 Convertible
Here is a very sharp and very clean 1969 Buick Electra Convertible. You can jump in and drive this car across the country with confidence! Great family cruiser with 6 seat belts! Original 430 cubic inch motor was recently totally rebuilt (.030 over) and runs like a champ. Newer belts, hoses, wires and battery. Car is loaded with options including power windows, 6 way power seats, power steering and power brakes (recent brake work also done). Trans shifts like it should and the brakes are in great shape! Newer exhaust system sounds great! New JVC AM/FM CD radio and speakers that sounds great (also MPS and satellite radio ready)! This car has been very well maintained over the years and I have a lot of receipts for the recent work. Original interior still presents well but does have a few small seam splits and is a bit faded in spots. The carpet is newer. It has had a recent repaint (base coat and clear coat) that shines up nice and presents very well (no rust). Original trim is all present and in nice shape! Bumpers are original and are dull in spots but presentable as a driver. Floors are solid and have been cut and patched in a few spots but look to have been done correctly. Frame and trunk pan are all solid and the car has been undercoated at some point. Power top works great. Convertible top with glass window was replaced at some point and is in nice shape as well as the top pistons and read glass window. Original convertible top boot has shrunk a bit so I do not have it on the car but it does come with the car. Original wheel covers are in very nice shape. Radial tires are newer and have plenty of tread left. Clean engine compartment. Also comes with a car cover, repair manual and a few extra spare trim parts. This car turns heads wherever you go! Here is your chance to purchase a classic convertible at a reasonable price!
Feel free to contact me with any questions about the car. I can be reached at 440-785-2687.

GM China President says automaker could export vehicles from China to US
Sat, 20 Apr 2013At a press conference on Saturday at the Shanghai Motor Show, General Motors announced plans to further expand its presence in the Chinese market. Among those commitments are plans to build four new plants by the end of 2015, giving the automaker the capacity to produce around five million vehicles a year in the country.
In order to make the most of that expansion, GM is adding 400 dealerships in China this year alone (for a total of 4,200 sales points), and it's eyeing 5,100 dealers by 2015. Yet not all of that production will stay in China - GM is planning to increase exports as well. Officials estimate the company will export somewhere between 100,000 and 130,000 Chinese-built vehicles this year - a record. And it's gunning for more.
Autoblog asked GM China president Bob Socia (above) if that means the company might eventually export new vehicles built in China to the United States, and he responded:
Opel Insignia wagon would make a mighty fine Buick Regal
Mon, Oct 17 2016Once again, the Buick Regal's European stablemate will be getting a long-roof iteration, and our spy photographers have caught it out testing. Normally we wouldn't be overly concerned about the new Opel Insignia wagon, but considering the rumors surrounding a Regal wagon, we have reason to pay attention. Like the next-generation Insignia sedan that we've previously seen, this wagon adopts a much longer and wider look compared with the current model. The nose is also noticeably more upright than the gently sloping iteration of its predecessor. These changes are accompanied by more slender lights and a generally more broad-shouldered look. It's difficult to discern much else, though. As for the odds of this wagon appearing in the States, they look decent, but far from guaranteed. The next Regal sedan will probably continue as a rebadged Insignia, and may be built in Germany. Rumors of a wagon have persisted, supported by word of focus group testing with other wagons and the registration of a trademark for "Tourx." If Opel produces another high-riding, plastic-clad Country Tourer model, we could see it come here with the Tourx name to challenge the Subaru Outback, Audi Allroad, Volvo Cross Country models and, most recently, the Mercedes E-Class All-Terrain. It would also provide the company with another crossover-esque model for little extra development cost. We've also heard a report that a Regal wagon of some sort was confirmed at a dealer meeting. Buick Riviera Concept hits the floor in Shanghai
Sat, 20 Apr 2013Here we have a concept in the true sense of the term. The Buick Riviera you see here - the name of which was last used in production back in 1999 - is said to preview Buick's future styling direction, which means we should expect to see more flowing body shapes to go along with new versions of the marque's classic waterfall grille design. Oh, and we don't believe there's a single porthole in sight.
Powered by Buick's so-called dual-mode wireless plug-in hybrid electric vehicle propulsion system (we'll stick with the W-PHEV acronym) that allows the car to be charged wirelessly just by driving atop a special charging mat on the ground, the car's powertrain is just as futuristic as its exterior shape.
Other high-tech bits include holographic projections on the windshield showing the driver what's around him, with input coming from 10 high-res cameras and 18 micro high-precision sensors. The car also sports 4G wireless connectivity so that its occupants are always connected.
