1969 Buick Electra 225 Convertible No Reserve Nr on 2040-cars
Sioux City, Iowa, United States
1969 Buick Electra 225 Convertible for sale at no reserve! Very rare, less than 8500 made. Very nice condition, drive anywhere. Power top in great shape (does have one small stain from a bird drop) as is the body and interior. Original 430 engine! Must see. Power windows, brakes, steering, seats, etc. Factory A/C. Air shocks added for a smooth ride. Has original jack, and owners manual. Low NADA book is $15750, asking way less! Bought it from a party who bought it from his parents back in Colorado twelve years ago. He drove it back and forth the last 11 years. Most of the miles are from those trips. I've put on 200 miles this last month, and will continue to drive it until it sells. One repaint numerous years ago, looks great, does have some minor imperfections and some little chips and dings here and there. Original color was silver. Does have a few dings on the rear bumper. Interior is nice, seats redone some years ago. The center rest and drivers arm rest have some slight wear and the interior passenger door panel has a split, (see pic). Has a pioneer 45w x 4 CD player, sounds great. I don't have the original radio. Has the original power rear antenna. This is an awesome driver, meant to be out in the sun, cruising! You won't believe the honks and waves, this really stands out! Buying a house reason for selling. Located in Sioux City, Ia, right off major highways and I-29 for easy access. Clean, clear title. Selling as is, and for sale locally. I have the right to remove listing at any time. Pics taken with my cell phone, sorry for the low quality. Please ask questions prior to bidding.

GM trademarks 'Sport Touring' for Buick Regal, LaCrosse
Thu, May 7 2015Discovering trademarking or patents from automakers always fascinates us since the filings hint at the possible future of motoring. Based on two recent applications, Buick has something possibly brewing for two of its sedans, because the company now has the trademark for Sport Touring on the Regal (pictured above in GS trim) and LaCrosse. According to GM Inside News, both trademarks are dated April 27 and are simply described to the US Patent and Trademark Office as being for "motor land vehicles, namely, automobiles." That doesn't narrow things down at all. However, since the moniker is specifically for both sedans, Sport Touring might be a new trim or special edition for them. Buick had no comment when reached by Autoblog. Of course, there are a whole host of automotive trademarks that are claimed that end up with no actual vehicle in showrooms. Unfortunately, we just have to wait to find out if this is another case like the Buick Enclave Tuscan where the filing offers a preview of the future or a situation like the still long-awaited return of the Supra.
Buick Envision CUV displays full-frontal nudity
Tue, 22 Jul 2014Earlier this month, Shanghai GM gave us a glimpse of the production version of the Buick Envision concept revealed at the Shanghai Motor Show back in 2011. And now it's released the first unveiled shot and initial details of the crossover to slot in the considerable gap between the Encore and Enclave.
The new Envision is set later this year to reach Chinese showrooms, where it will be called the Ang Ke Wei, after which we're expecting it to arrive Stateside. The production-ready Envision is about the size of the Chevrolet Equinox or GMC Terrain, but is differentiated by a more upscale treatment and Buick's signature waterfall grille, flanked by Xenon headlamps and LED running lights and riding on 19-inch wheels.
Power comes from GM's familiar 2.0-liter turbo four with direct injection and stop/start ignition, driving 256 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque through a six-speed automatic transmission to all four wheels. That's about all that GM's Chinese operation has announced at this point - it's not even clear what platform the vehicle is on - but you can check out the press release for yourself below.
Is Buick's surprise Detroit concept a Camaro-sized coupe?
Sun, Jan 10 2016Tomorrow night marks the unofficial start of the 2016 Detroit Auto Show. Keep your eyes peeled for a number of reveals, including a surprise debut from Buick. Yes, Buick. And we think it's going to be something really hot. According to a report from Bloomberg, the Tri-Shield's secret car could be a Camaro-sized sport coupe concept. As Bloomberg explains, it'd certainly gel with the impression the company is trying to put out – that it's no longer a brand for those with one foot in the grave. Introducing a sports coupe, even as a concept, could certainly reinforce that message. And if it happens to make production – which is not a certainty, Bloomberg's secret source says – it could certainly help Buick drive its average buyer age down from 59. Bloomberg doesn't offer any speculation on Buick's new coupe, but we have no problem making educated guesses. Our most reliable conjecture is this: it will ride on General Motors' Alpha platform, which underpins both the Camaro and the Cadillac ATS. And with a certain twin-turbocharged V6 in the GM stable, we've got an idea of what kind of engine could be shown. That speculation will have to suffice for now. But don't worry, we'll have official details, live images, and video tomorrow when Buick unveils its new concept in Detroit's Eastern Market.
