This Buick is in pristine condition. I've sold many cars in my 38 years in the car business, ( 10 years on ebay ) and I've probably used the term " pristine " a couple of dozen times to describe a car that is truly out of the ordinary. This car was bought by a woman non smoker, on December 15th 2000, with 20,465 miles on it. The paint is excellent and the interior shows no signs of wear. All the power options work as they should and it has remote start as well as remote door and trunk locks. My wife and I have been driving this car and you literally can hardly hear the engine. This car has only 63,940 original miles. It has a current Massachusetts inspection sticker and like all my cars it comes with a warranty. I only sell cars on this site so you don't have to search my feedback for someone who bought a car from me. EVERY feedback from a BUYER is for a car like this one. No exceptions. I also don't buy trade-ins or cars people are getting rid of. If you are in this price range I'm sure you find a nicer one anywhere. I only buy cars one at a time, so I can be very picky. GM recalling nearly 4,000 vehicles over airbag concerns
Thu, 31 Jan 2013Four different General Motors vehicles from the 2012 model year are being recalled over a potential airbag issue. The driver's side airbag shorting bar in the 2012 Buick Verano and 2012 Chevrolet Camaro, Cruze and Sonic might make contact with the airbag terminals, even during a crash. If so, the airbag won't deploy when it should, possibly increasing injury to the driver.
The recall is expected to begin on February 13 for the 3,896 units that might be affected. GM will notify owners who can then take their vehicles to dealers to have the airbag coil replaced. A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration below has more info.

Opel Insignia OPC Sports Tourer shows its fresh face ahead of Frankfurt debut
Thu, 22 Aug 2013Drive down the Autobahn and there's any number of vehicles likely to pass you, and most of them are produced locally. But if you're wondering how that Opel left you in its dust, look closely (and quickly) enough and you might make out the letters OPC on the back.
They stand for Opel Performance Center (the German counterpart to Vauxhall's VXR line) and they adorn performance versions of the Corsa, Astra and Insignia. The latter is undergoing a bit of a refresh and is expected to debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in a couple of weeks, but you don't have to wait that long as our intrepid spy photographers have caught it in the flesh outside an Opel facility in Germany.
Spied here completely undisguised in Sports Tourer (read: wagon) form, the Insignia has had a few nips and tucks performed, but we'll be more intrigued to see what it's got under the hood. The current model packs a 2.8-liter twin-turbo V6 driving 325 horsepower to all four wheels, but rumors suggest that the OPC (yeah you know me!) could have as much as 400 hp up its sleeve. That would make this one heck of a sleeper - especially in wagon form - and only make us pine for a more potent version of its twin Buick Regal to roam our highways, too.
