EQUIPMENT It has an excellent 3.1 V-6 engine & an excellent automatic transmission as well as power steering, power brakes, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, power trunk via keyless entry, power driver seat, air conditioning, cruise control, tilt wheel, interm wipers, electric rear defogger, dual lighted sun visor mirrors, factory am/fm cassette stereo, steering wheel stereo controls, factory floor mats, 4 P205/70R15 steel belted radial whitewall tires, keyless entry & active alarm. DESCRIPTION This car runs like new! There's no rust. The engine runs nice & cool & the transmission shifts perfectly. The brakes are fine & no pulsation. The exhaust is quiet & it's smooth riding. The air conditioning could probably use a charge & the bass on the stereo occasionally cuts out but works fine other than that. All the power options & everything else work well. It just passed New York State inspection. The dash pad corner on the passenger side is lifted just a bit. There are a couple very minor dings/scratches on the trunk lid & here & there around the car & a few very small paint spots the size of your pinky finger that I touched up . These are to be expected on any used car, are extremely minor & of no significance but I wanted to mention them for all you picky-oon people out there. I also had the rockers professionally touched up as the paint flaked off a little. The frame & floors are very solid & so are the rockers & especially the door bottoms. The paint is showroom shinney & the interior is excellent as well. **The interior is not faded as some of the pictures portray**. The trunk & interior are immaculate. I just had the rear brakes cleaned & adjusted & put brand new wiper blades on. If you're looking for a low miles family car that you don't have to put any money into then this is it! With only 52,606 miles, that's about as much as a 2010 car! Again, you can call me at 716-884-1082 from 8am-11pm EDT with any questions. If you like these cars then you'll love this one! Good luck bidding if you do & God Bless! |

GM cutting Chevy Sonic, Buick Verano production by more than 20%
Sat, Jun 13 2015General Motors' Orion Assembly plant in Michigan is seeing even more production cuts this year to further reduce inventories of the Chevrolet Sonic and Buick Verano. These latest adjustments mean layoffs for about 100 workers in phases starting in July. "GM Orion Assembly will adjust plant production capacity to better align with market demand," the company said in a statement announcing the change. Through May, sales of the Sonic are down 28.5 percent to 29,082 vehicles, and the Verano is off 15.6 percent, with 15,279 sold this year. According to unnamed plant insiders speaking to Automotive News, the assembly rate is slowing at Orion Assembly from the current 33 cars an hour down to 26 an hour, a 21-percent reduction. GM is also reportedly going to keep the plant idle for three weeks during the normal summer shutdown, rather than the usual two. Earlier in the year, the factory was idled for two weeks due to excess supply of the Sonic and Verano. In March, it was closed again for several days for the same reason. The Orion Assembly plant is the future home to the line for the Chevy Bolt EV. GM Statement: GM Orion Assembly will adjust plant production capacity to better align with market demand. A phased layoff of approximately 100 employees will begin in July 2015 and conclude by year-end. 2018 Buick Regal GS is the best Regal since the GNX
Wed, Jul 19 2017The 2018 Buick Regal GS, the third and final variant of the all-new Buick Regal, was revealed this morning. At the event, we were given a brief chance to drive the Regal Sportback, the Regal TourX, and the Regal GS at GM's proving grounds in Milford, MI. Buick has been working hard to shed its image as the brand that comes with an AARP membership card in the glovebox, and this handsome trio is definitely on the right path. With a solid list of features at competitive prices, it's now going to be up to Buick's marketing division to get customers into showrooms. We should say right off the bat that while the old G-Body Grand National and GNX were hardcore giant slayers, the new Regal GS isn't intended to be so sharp edged. Those '80s machines were focused on 0-60 times, and looking as sinister as possible. The new Regal is far more civilized that its forebear. They may share a name, but the purpose has changed. The standard Regal Sportback starts at $25,915 - that's $2,470 less than the outgoing model. It might be the most attractive Buick in decades, at least on the outside. The interior is typical GM, meaning lots of colors and textures without a defining theme. It's powered solely by a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four making 250 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels through a nine-speed automatic. From behind the wheel, the Regal Sportback is quiet, comfortable, and generally relaxed. The 2.0-liter turbo makes a decent amount of power, but the steering and handling remind you that this isn't a sport sedan. That's not a fault, simply a conscious design choice. Despite what some enthusiasts would lead you to believe, not everything needs to be set up for the N urburgring. The Regal Sportback soaks up bumps fairly well, though the car felt light going over some larger bumps on GM's handling course. The steering is completely dead, but it doesn't feel loose or sloppy. There's simply no feedback from the tires. On the other hand, the brakes were surprisingly good. The pedal was firm and confidence-inspiring. Stopping quickly from 60 mph provided no drama. View 12 Photos The $29,995 Regal TourX is a high-riding wagon in the vein of the Subaru Outback, Audi A4 Allroad, and Volvo V60 Cross Country. Like those three, the Regal TourX comes standard with some beefy plastic cladding and all-wheel drive, giving some pretense of off-road capability.

Wed, 24 Jul 2013A Nice, New Buick Aims For Middle Of The Road
Any time someone describes some portion of a car or a driving experience as being "nice," I want to either A) throttle them or B) run as fast and as far as I can from that vehicle. "Nice" is among the most insidious words in the English language - at best it's vague, and at worst, it conveys the exact opposite of its literal meaning. Yet it seems to be used with damnable frequency when it comes to verbally illustrating vehicles. "It looks really nice," or "These seats feel nice," or, heaven forefend, "It's got a nice ride," are all windy signifiers of absolutely nothing resembling a concrete opinion. "Nice" is the adjectival equivalent of meekly smiling and nodding your head.
Of course, I'm as guilty as the next person of having thrown English's least powerful descriptor around. There's even a chance that, rant aside, you'll catch me making nice in reviews to come. That's fine, but you should know that when you stumble upon such usage, past or future, that you've found a sentence in which I'm simply applying a bare minimum of effort to the task.
