Available for bid is a beautiful 2008 BMW 328i with less than 62,000 miles. Highlights include: power windows and locks, Sunroof, A/C, CD with steering weheel controls and AUX jack, automatic transmission, upgraded 2010 stock wheels. NON-SMOKER, exceptionally clean!! No Disappointments here. Front nose has a couple of rock chips, largest pictured, otherwise there is no noticeable dents, or significant scratches. I always hand wash all my cars and trucks and this one is no exception. All power features work as they should. The car is avertised locally so I do reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time. Note: Arizona DOES NOT require private party sales to pay sales tax! That is a $1,200 - $1,400 savings. Buyer is responsible for all local taxes and fees in their home state. The car does have an outstanding loan through Wells Fargo that will be required to be paid prior to title release. Bunny couldn't out hop a BMW M3 on-track
Mon, 15 Jul 2013Driving a car is a dangerous hobby, and not just because of other drivers or poor roads. Sometimes, it seems like even the wildlife is out to get you, as evidenced here, here, here, here and here. Now, we can add one more unfortunate car-versus-animal encounter to the tally.
Perhaps believing that this bright orange BMW M3 GTS was a very fast, very loud carrot, an unfortunate bunny leaped into its windshield in a brutal accident at a Polish racetrack. Considering the M3's speed at the time, 89 miles per hour, the passengers are lucky to be okay. Obviously, Bugs didn't make it.
The BMW isn't in such great shape, though. The windshield is in a bit of a state, with safety glass sprayed all over the passenger side of the cabin. There doesn't appear to be any sheetmetal damage, at least from what we can tell from the video. Although there isn't any blood, the hit is really hard. The initial point of impact is at 0:57. Upcoming new BMW X6 leaks out ahead of full reveal
Thu, 05 Jun 2014The X5 may have been the first BMW crossover on the market when it arrived in 2000, opening the door to more high-riding Bavarians to follow, but it's been replaced twice over now. The X3 is on its second generation, and with the X1 having been introduced in 2009 and the X4 soon to hit showrooms, that makes the X6 - introduced in 2008 - the oldest crossover in the BMW lineup. But it won't be for much longer.
Soon BMW will reveal the all-new X6, based on the latest X5 but with that tell-tale slanted roofline. But before it gets the chance, a handful of images have leaked their way all over the Internet to give us an advance look at what to expect.
The overall shape of the new X6 comes across as familiar, if a bit less of an awkward take on the vehicle that (for better or worse) launched the crossover coupe segment. Up front the twin kidney grilles and headlights are larger, in keeping with the latest BMW design language, and the bumper less horizontal and more dynamic. Towards the back there's a sharp crease above the wheel arch blending into the more rakishly shaped tail lights, while the metallic vent behind the front wheel arch lends the flank an even sportier appearance.
