Welcome to a phenomenal opportunity. You are viewing an incredible, one-owner, meticulously cared-for and exclusively Florida-kept and driven 2005 BMW Z4 Roadster. This stylish convertible is sexy, sleek, extra-clean and  has only 52,000 original, one-owner miles. This Roadster is as clean as they come. Period. Certainly the best color combination. Brilliant Silver over Ebony Tex-leather, and matching Black canvas power top. All in exceptional condition. This vehicle has been garage-kept and it shows.
This one get looks and stares everywhere--top up, or down, and is an absolute pleasure to drive. Completely power, self-enclosed convertible top, and full power options. The rich black canvas is in outstanding condition and this vehicle was owned by a non-smoker. Only one mature, adult owner, this is the opportunity that you have been dreaming of. Loaded with everything and it runs and drives superbly. Very inspired 184-hp 2.5 liter 6-cylinder engine delivers outstanding performance, and matched with its close ratio, electronically-controlled automatic transmission (w/Overdrive), this Roadster is a pleasure to drive. Drink your coffee, sip your cappuccino, enjoy your Green tea....all without the hassles of bothering with a manual transmission. Not to mention the pain-in-the-neck shifting in rush hour traffic. You know the feeling...Combined with traction control, you'll enjoy this zippy Z4 Roadster in any driving situation--wet or dry (or Snow!) Speaking of which--this classy little roadster has been a Florida vehicle its entire life. No salt, no snow, no harsh weather, no harsh roads...no hills. Believe me, owning a Florida vehicle makes a BIG difference! Aside from the obvious weather advantages--your undercarriage and suspension will all thank you for this! This is a fair weather automobile that was only driven on occasion, buy one owner, who purchased it new, and NOT used as a daily commuter, and pampered all along the way. Everything works perfectly and properly, just as you would expect from a superbly maintained 52,000 mile, one-owner Florida automobile. No excuses--no disappointments--just one of the cleanest, lowest mileage examples out there. We have this gorgeous Roadster offered on auction for 7 days with No Reserve...that's right, one lucky and incredibly savvy bidder will be getting the car of their dreams!. Again, only one, original, careful owner, and this BMW Z4 has never seen snow. AutoCheck guarantees absolutely no title problems and documented mileage...all she needs is a new home. No disappointments here. While other 2005 BMW Z4 Roadsters offered for sale in the US have an AutoCheck score ranging between 75 and 84, ours scored an ultra-impressive 86! How's that for peace of mind!
Extra-clean interior, perfect interior and power top and a pleasure to drive. Imagine all the fun you will have with this sexy convertible, while still driving one of the safest vehicles on the road. The exterior finish is outstanding, and with 17-inch factory aluminum/alloy wheels, this Z4 is as much fun to drive as it is to look at! I have both original laser cut factory keys (with remotes) as well as the original floor mats (in excellent condition). We can assist with transport within the Continental US. We list our vehicles to sell, and many sell with just a simple phone call to our sales associate. The latest June 2014 NADA Used Car Guide shows the retail value of this Roadster to be upwards of $15,400 and certainly much more according to your friendly neighborhood BMW dealership, or local high-image Import Auto Boutique. Don't miss out on this one. Without a doubt one of the cleanest in the country. Please feel free to call or e-mail us and enjoy a wonderful buying experience. 561.283.9511. A Tasty Bit Of Old School For The New School
Against the backdrop of fervent hand-wringing from brand purists, BMW is on the cusp of finally offering front-wheel-drive vehicles. While that's a shock to the constitution, many are pointing to the company's fine-handling Mini offerings as an article of faith that it can get this drivetrain paradigm shift right. That may be true, but there's an even more important lesson that Mini has taught the decision-makers in Munich: how to make real money on small cars.
Before Mini came along, BMW - along with seemingly every other premium European automaker - never really figured out how to coax big dollars out of American wallets without developing cars that had large footprints, at least those other than sports cars. While the automaker really got rolling in America on the strength of little bantamweights like the 2002, it veered away from small cars sometime in the '80s. BMW subsequently crashed and burned with the cut-and-shut 318ti built off its E36 3 Series and, good as it is, the 1 Series hasn't given the company meaty volume or profits, either. Among other brands, the Audi A3 has never rung up big numbers, and the less said about the painful sales figures of the Volvo C30, the better. But Mini has beat the odds, blazing a more affordable and evidently compelling trail. As of late, the company's Countryman softroader has been a massive hit worldwide. No surprise then that BMW has reconsidered bringing over its smallest softroader, the X1, to the US.

NHTSA, IIHS, and 20 automakers to make auto braking standard by 2022

Thu, Mar 17 2016

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and virtually every automaker in the US domestic market have announced a pact to make automatic emergency braking standard by 2022. Here's the full rundown of companies involved: BMW, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Ford, General Motors, Honda, Hyundai, Jaguar Land Rover, Kia, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Subaru, Tesla, Toyota, Volkswagen, and Volvo (not to mention the brands that fall under each automaker's respective umbrella). Like we reported yesterday, AEB will be as ubiquitous in the future as traction and stability control are today. But the thing to note here is that this is not a governmental mandate. It's truly an agreement between automakers and the government, a fact that NHTSA claims will lead to widespread adoption three years sooner than a formal rule. That fact in itself should prevent up to 28,000 crashes and 12,000 injuries. The agreement will come into effect in two waves. For the majority of vehicles on the road – those with gross vehicle weights below 8,500 pounds – AEB will need to be standard equipment by September 1, 2022. Vehicles between 8,501 and 10,000 pounds will have an extra three years to offer AEB. "It's an exciting time for vehicle safety. By proactively making emergency braking systems standard equipment on their vehicles, these 20 automakers will help prevent thousands of crashes and save lives," said Secretary of Transportation Anthony Foxx said in an official statement. "It's a win for safety and a win for consumers." Read on for the official press release from NHTSA. Automakers making the commitment are Audi, BMW, FCA US LLC, Ford, General Motors, Honda, Hyundai, Jaguar Land Rover, Kia, Maserati, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi Motors, Nissan, Porsche, Subaru, Tesla Motors Inc., Toyota, Volkswagen and Volvo Car USA.
