Simply the most amazing 98 Z3 M roadster I have seen. It is complete with rear wind deflector, books, all keys, boot cover, car cover and the original tire inflator. This Z3 was owned by a couple of BMW enthusiast. I was told by dealer this car has never seen rain and it shows it..... Smooth, silk paint that shows no aging or abuse. It is Smoke free and accident free. Rear tires have 80% thread life left and front tires are like new. This Z3 is also freshly serviced as it shows below the odometer in one of the pictures taken. One would assume an enthusiast that doesn't drive his car in the rain and gets it a car cover while parked in a garage most its life would get services done on time or before it's due.
I took the time to drive and inspect the car in and out. The drive is exhilarating and fun with all instruments and equipment functioning as it should. The outside is flawless other than a small door ding that takes an expert to find it. I feel as if the previous two owners only drove when bugs weren't around and there was no 18 wheelers on the road throwing rock chips at you. Whether you are looking to drive it daily, race it on the weekend, listen to it purr or have your favorite cocktail looking at its sexy lines, this car is impeccable. Add it to your collection or put a bunch of miles on it, I am confident there are none nicer! What can you buy that has M power with 13000 miles and a convertible for this price? Hmmmm a Miata? Not really... A Mustang? So does all the high school kids in your neighborhood! I checked prices before I listed this and I have it priced accordingly. No low ball offers please. Questions? Call me Jay 21O-86O-2886 Odometer may vary. Shown by appointment only. I will help with transportation and gladly pick you up from airport as well as get it inspected for you if needed. Final price times .002769 plus 199. Doc fee for out of of state buyers and Texas buyers pay additional sales tax plus title and license fee. |

BMW names new head of M division
Wed, 24 Sep 2014BMW's performance division has been run by Dr. Friedrich Nitschke since 2011, developing, among other products, the new M3 and M4. But soon the good doctor will be retiring, and BMW has just named his successor.
Taking Nitschke's place as chairman of BMW M GmbH will be Franciscus van Meel (pictured at right), who until recently served as managing director of Audi Quattro GmbH - the rival outfit that makes Ingolstadt's performance models, including the R8 supercar and RS line of performance models.
Van Meel will join BMW on October 1, presumably to learn the ropes from Nitschke before the 59-year-old executive steps down at the end of the year. Back in January, Audi named Heinz Peter Hollwerweger as head of Quattro GmbH and reassigned van Meel to its Beijing R&D center, a role which evidently didn't suit him as well as creating Autobahn-storming German muscle cars.
These are the top luxury cars bought by people entering the segment for the first time
Fri, 25 Jul 2014Let's say you just got a big promotion at work or the kids are moving out of the house, and you finally have some extra money. You decide to blow it all at once and treat yourself by upgrading your ride. Naturally, you look to a luxury automaker. What do you choose?
Models like the Audi A3 and Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class may be tailor-made to introduce buyers to the premium segment, but a new study finds that they don't garner the highest rates of non-luxury customer conquests. It turns out that a Volvo leads among folks moving up to a premium brand, and it isn't even one that's made anymore, at that.
A recent study by Polk and IHS Automotive looked at what models had the highest rates of buyers upgrading from a non-luxury segment. The information comes from its new vehicle registration data through April 2014. All ten top models boasted conquest rates of over 50 percent, but the Volvo C70 led the field with 68.01 percent of its customers coming from non-premium brands.
BMW pitting self-drifting car against drift champion
Mon, Mar 9 2015The BMW M235i certainly makes a capable drift machine. Last year, the Bavarian brand had five of them with the tail out in unison in South Africa for the Driftmob. The coupe even proved that it could slide without a driver's intervention. For the latest sideways stunt, the company wanted to know which was the better drifter: an autonomous car or a human. This clip is just the trailer for BMW's entire drift challenge video, and it seemingly gives away the ending of the whole thing. We're sure, though, that there must be something more to the stunt than what's on display here. The driverless Audi TTS from Stanford University was reportedly slightly faster than an amateur racer around Thunderhill Raceway Park recently, and BMW has also been working at this problem for years with things like its Track Trainer. Regardless of how you feel about driverless cars, it's amazing how quickly autonomous tech is progressing – even on the track.
