Engine purrs SWEET!
Five Speed Manual Transmission is rock solid and makes it fun to drop the power top and drive
Body is Pretty Cherry (very little road rash) Nickel sized hail dent in right rear quarter panel--and door ding on driver's side
Power top is in good shape--about three years old
Plenty of rubber left on low profile tires
AC blows Cold

Scratches on lower panel of passenger's door--see photo
Small faded/stain area on driver's seat (caused by cleaning agent)

AC blows only on high setting. May need controller. Occurred when stereo was installed.

BMW X1 EV for Zinoro spotted
Tue, 04 Jun 2013BMW has teamed up with Chinese automaker Brilliance Automotive to create a joint venture in China, called Zinoro, and it appears that an all-electric version of the X1 crossover is to be the brand's first model. Spotted testing in Munich, these spy shots show a more camouflaged version of the X1 EV that we saw back in April.
Comparing these latest spy shots, we can see that the Zinoro model will wear a completely unique front fascia that ditches BMW's trademark grille, but few other changes seem to be taking place. Previous reports indicate that this Zinoro EV could go on sale in China early next year.
Behind the scenes of BMW's 'Drift Mob,' Part 1
Sat, 28 Jun 2014Generally speaking, marketing and journalism don't mix, but every now and then, what goes into the marketing of a car - the 2015 BMW M235i, in this case - is worth documenting. In that spirit, we took BMW up on its offer to bring us behind the scenes of its upcoming "drift mob" video, starring five red M235i coupes frolicking around a traffic circle in a major world city (BMW has asked us to be coy about which one so as not to blow its cover before the shoot).
The five drivers can all be considered legends of modern-day drifting and stunt driving: Rhys Millen, Samuel Hübinette, Dai Yoshihara, Rich Rutherford and Conrad Grunewald.
As the only US media outlet in attendance, Autoblog plans to follow up with a full story on the experience once BMW polishes and releases the video in a month or so.
