1998 BMW Z3 2.8L ROADSTER CONVERTIBLE Up for sale is my 1998 BMW Z3. The car is in great shape and has been well cared for by two other owners, and always lived in a warm climate and with the quality of the original paint it seems to obviously been a garaged car. You can tell by the mileage that it has lived a very sheltered life but whenever it does come out for play everyone will want to have a ride. Everything is in good working order, and the appearance is right up there with the best of them, hard to find a scratch of any kind on this beautiful black body. The interior is just as nice and the ustom 2 tone upholstery and leather door inserts really give the car a uniquely nice finishing touch. The original tools, two keys, and valet key, plus owner’s manual, and BMW tools are still part of this roadster. Under the hood it purrs like a kitten and has plenty of pep with its 2.8L engine with 5 speed manual shift. The tires are not new but as pictured are in excellent condition. The only issue is that it needs a new latch on the glove compartment; it is functional but would improve the cosmetics. If you live in Houston or nearby come by and see it if you are a serious buyer, otherwise I can assist with shipping quotes or provide airport service. Alpina B4 coupe will be your subtle M4
Sat, 14 Sep 2013We're big fans of Alpina here at Autoblog - the BMW tuner has created some seriously delicious products in the past, and recently tuned the diesel-powered 3 Series wagon to create the D3 Bi-Turbo. What we like most about Alpina is how the cars only look subtly more aggressive than stock, yet they pack a real wallop under the hood.
Take this B4 Coupe, recently spotted testing at the Nürburgring. It looks pretty tame compared to the normal 435i, the only visual additions being the Alpina-standard 21-spoke wheels, modified front lip and rear wing spoiler. But under the hood, Alpina is reportedly working on a tuned, twin-turbo straight-six that produces something like 410 horsepower. That means the B4 should be good for a 0-62 time of 4.2 seconds, with a top speed around 190 mph. Rear-wheel drive will be standard, though our spies suggest that Alpina could also use all-wheel drive here in the B4.
We have no doubt that the next BMW M4 will be super hot, but for those seeking a bit more stealth and exclusivity, this Alpina B4 certainly looks the business. Check it out in our gallery above.

The 2013 BMW M6 is a rolling obscenity - one that begins with the capital letter "F." It is both the act and the exclamation, the curse and the encouragement. It courts no logic. It is all want and no need, and it is unbecoming of the BMW roundel. Whereas the brand's products once strove to unite man and machine in a duet of blissful performance, the M6 seems built solely to stand between the driver and the road. You are very clearly in its way every second you're behind the wheel, slowing it down and generally being the Monday morning to its two-day trance festival. It's clear this car is very fast, but it has no interest in making you fast in the way that the M3 or even the M5 are wont to do.
But somehow, all that doesn't stop the car from stoking every last lick of lust in your gut. A 560-horsepower twin-turbocharged V8 will do that for you.
Mazda Turnpike in Japan shut down for racing

Not only did they manage to shutdown eight kilometers of the Mazda Turnpike up the Hakone mountain, but they invited some of the country's premiere racers to take a drive up the hill. This wasn't just a Sunday cruise either. Featuring a BMW Z4 from the Super GT series, a classic Ford GT40, two flavors of Nissan GT-R and two takes on the Subaru Impreza WRX STI, these guys came ready to run. When an opportunity to let racecars challenge a curvy mountain road presents itself, you don't squander it. Thankfully, the folks at Motorhead knew that and outfitted the course with a plethora of cameras and high-quality sound equipment to capture the action. The result is nothing short of sublime. Take the video's urging to turn up your speakers for this one, and watch as these racers hit ludicrous speeds in a beautiful place never meant for them.
