Ladies and Gentlemen, First of all, I really do NOT want to sell my BMW x5. It took me the better part of a year to find this car and I've loved every single day I've owned it. However, I am about to head out on my 5th deployment with the Marines and unfortunately I do not have anyone to look after it this time. I do NOT want it to sit in storage so alias I am selling it. I bought the car from the original owner (he turned it into the dealership and I bought it right after) and I knew he was as OCD as I was because the car was super clean. I take care of all my cars, bikes and possessions in general. You will notice from the photos its in incredible shape. Just want to mention that it is indeed a MANUAL TRANSMISSION / STANDARD vehicle. Yes you heard me correctly it is one of the rare ones and in fact EVERY single time I got an oil change at least one of the mechanics would make me a cash offer to purchase the vehicle. 2016 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance: It's all in the details

The car show may be a place for automakers to showcase extremely expensive cars to wealthy buyers, but it's also one of the go-to places for enthusiasts that love automobiles and culture. While it's easy to be overwhelmed by the overall beauty of a car, the real magic often needs closer inspection to be realized. Every car at Pebble Beach is a work of art, but the true beauty of the vehicles lies in the details. And Autoblog's photographer, Drew Phillips, managed to capture the details on some gorgeous cars. Old vs. new debate gets new life with $25,000 Fiesta ST vs. E46 M3 showdown

There's probably a few of you reading; the ones that say, "Why would I spend $27,000 on a new Mazda MX-5 when I could get a used Chevrolet Corvette with more power." Yes, we're talking to you, used car proponents. While it is a fair argument, it's not like used cars don't come with drawbacks of their own, though.
In an attempt to put this new-versus-used argument to bed once and for all, Matt Farah of the The Smoking Tire has picked up a pair of $25,000 cars - a used, but lightly modified, 2003 BMW M3 and a 2013 Ford Fiesta ST. Naturally, there's a comparison.
Farah, as he's wont to do, does get into the nitty gritty of what each car is like to drive, and discusses the merits of used and new-car shopping. But as he rightly points out while testing the M3, "So, it is a good car. But like any used car, it really does depend on the individual car."
Toyota launches BMW-powered Verso in Europe
Tue, 03 Dec 2013BMW makes some sweet-revving engines, but its own vehicles aren't the only ones running BMW engines. So do the latest from Rolls-Royce and Mini, of course, as well as a handful of Peugeots and Citroëns thanks to its joint engine program with PSA. Wiesmann uses BMW engines, as did the famous McLaren F1. And now we can add one more to the list.
That would be the Toyota Verso, a Corolla-based minivan which Toyota builds in Turkey and sells in Europe and a few other markets overseas. The Verso is also now officially the first beneficiary of the partnership between Toyota and BMW as the Japanese automaker has released the MPV with BMW's 1.6-liter turbodiesel four.
The 111-horsepower engine is coupled to a Toyota transmission and joins the Verso range as the fourth (and least powerful) engine in the lineup, alongside the 122hp 2.0 diesel and the gasoline options with 1.6 liters and 160 hp and 1.8 for 180. Future collaborations between the two automakers will include fuel-cell development, a new joint sportscar platform, lightweight bodywork research and a new generation of lithium-air batteries.
