Im selling my 2002 BMW x5 4.6is. The car is in great condition and it has been WELL taken care off. Body is 9/10 condition and mechanically its 10/10.

NO BODYWORK ever has been performed on the car. Car was appraised by carmax last month and they said everything is in PERFECT shape.
Maintenance:
The car does have 147K miles BUT it was WELL taken care of and has TONS of paperwork/service records. One of the last things to be replaced were cooling system, alternator, manifold gaskets and other misc little parts. Also previous owner said timing guides were replaced at 120K miles. Transmission and transfer case were flushed 3K miles ago. Tranny received new filter as well.
The only negative about this car is the fact that steering wheel adjustment stopped working. The problem is the seat memory module (Even tho seat works 100%). If you dont haggle me on the price and we agree on it, I can order the part and fix it for you prior to sale.
KBB IS rated at 11K. So I think 9500 is a perfectly fair price for such rare car.

2015 BMW i8: Autoblog Technology of the Year finalist

Traditionally, nominations for the Autoblog Technology of the Year award are earned for specific developments - a new-think powertrain, a uniquely developed material, a groundbreaking smartphone app, or what have you. In the case of BMW's marvelous i8, it so bristles with novel applied sciences and fresh features that we broke with tradition and nominated the entire car.
We just couldn't help ourselves. Oh, we could've focused on the i8's carbon-fiber monocoque, or its well-resolved plug-in-hybrid powertrain that incorporates a tiny 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine and an electric motor, or its seamless through-the-road all-wheel drive. This is a car that will even have frickin' laser beams for headlights - at least it will for our friends in Europe (and it will in the US, should our legislators ever catch up).
Morgan Plus 8 Speedster hits the track versus BMW R Nine T
Mon, Sep 29 2014Evo is back at it with its car-versus-bike races, following up on the all-British Jaguar/Triumph battle from last weekend with an (almost) all-BMW affair, pitting the German brand's stylish and vintage-looking R Nine T against the British-built, BMW-powered Morgan Plus 8 Speedster. Unlike last week's battle, though, we're guessing this contest will be quite a bit more even. See, the F-Type had 380 horsepower and plenty of body fat to haul about. The Morgan, though, is nearly as powerful (367 ponies) and is far lighter, at around 2,200 pounds. The BMW, meanwhile, isn't quite the track star that the lightweight Triumph Street Triple R. EVO "2012 Car of the Year: The Track Battles" is a sports car salmagundi
Sun, 25 Nov 2012EVO has come out with another gotta-watch-it video, throwing its 2012 Car of the Year contestants around the UK's 1.5-mile Blyton Park track. It's actually a 15-minute teaser for the full-length DVD detailing the magazine's Car of the Year selection, but the tease is worth every penny free second.
Tiff Needell and sports car racer Richard Meaden handle the wheel duties, the two driving five pairs of sports cars: Lotus Exige S vs. Porsche Boxster S, Morgan Three-Wheeler vs. Toyota GT86, BMW M135i vs. Porsche 911, Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series vs. Alpina B3 GT3, the marquee event pits the McLaren MP4-12C vs. the Pagani Huayra. After a head-to-head lap with commentary during drifts, Meaden takes each car out to set a representative lap time.
