2005 Bmw X3 3.0i Sport Utility 4-door 3.0l 128,500 Miles Sirius Satellite! Read on 2040-cars
Cordele, Georgia, United States
I have for sale a 2005 BMW X3 with about 128,500 miles on it. I'm still driving it, so I'll update it if it goes over that. Actually has 128,300 right now. The car was my wife's but she has gotten a X5. It is smoke free. It has 2 new tires on the front. They were bought Oct 18th. It will need some for the rear soon. It has something called a Dice that allows it to do bluetooth signal for playing iPod or iPhone. It also has a Sirius receiver that plugs into it that lets it play thru the factory radio. I quite using the bluetooth feature because it created confusion with the factory phone bluetooth feature. But the Sirius receiver has a lifetime subscription I will include and leave on. This is what I know is wrong with the truck. The engine light is on. It says that the Crank Case Vent Valve and hoses need replacing. It says the bottom hose has been replaced. I had this error message 3 months ago. I bought this. E-bay item#151115117253. I was trying to get everything fixed before selling. The mechanic said he replaced the Vent valve and hoses. But BMW says they are still causing the light to come on and are leaking. Car runs great and I've been driving it with this light on for over a year. So you could drive like it is, fix it yourself, or get BMW to fix it. I just didn't want to spend anymore money on it. Also, when I had it check at BMW a few months ago, it said the rear pads were due to be replaced. The car is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end early if it sells. Email with any questions! BUY FROM SELLER WITH 100% POSITIVE FEEDBACK OVER 13 YEARS!

2015 BMW X6 stays the course with more power, RWD model
Thu, 05 Jun 2014What would this world be without the BMW X6? Oh, sure, the whole coupe-crossover design trend surely would have started somewhere, but BMW was the first, launching its odd duck back in 2008. Much as we like to harp on the X6 (for being less functional and more expensive than the X5 on which it's based), people around the world sure do seem to like the thing, BMW having sold some 250,000 examples since the CUV's birth. And as you first saw thanks to leaked images this morning, the second-generation X6 has just arrived.
The shape is familiar, as are specific styling elements like the larger headlamps (now available with a full-LED treatment) and taillamps, mimicking those found on the X5. Two trims are available - xLine and M Sport - the former taking a more subdued approach, while the latter uses the traditionally bulgy and aggressive M-badged kit, with larger air intakes and matte aluminum grille bars. All X6s come standard with 19-inch wheels, and 20s are optional.
Regardless of trim, BMW will now offer the X6 in three guises here in the United States: sDrive35i, xDrive35i and xDrive50i. Dissecting the nomenclature, that means the first two models will be powered by BMW's 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six, good for 300 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque. The sDrive X6 uses rear-wheel drive, while the xDrive, of course, uses all-wheel drive. Moving up, the xDrive50i uses the same twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 as its predecessor, though power has been increased to 450 hp and 480 lb-ft. All X6 models are fitted with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and BMW says that the new powertrains are more efficient than before, though official fuel economy numbers have not yet been released.
BMW X1 spied in the snow, on the 'Ring
Thu, Mar 19 2015The next-generation BMW X1 is moving ever closer to production, and it reportedly launches in Europe in June. With just a few months left of development, the Bavarian brand is making sure to get in as much work in as possible – as the shots above show. According to our spies, all of these pictures were taken on the same day, but BMW was running two simultaneous evaluations of the crossover in Europe. At the sunny Nurburgring, the company was doing high-speed tests on the famous track. Meanwhile in chilly Sweden, cold-weather analysis was happening. Regardless of the location, these are some of the least camouflaged X1s photographed yet. Based on the shots, it appears that BMW is evolving the compact CUV's design rather than overhauling it, but there are a few dashes of styling from the 2 Series Gran Tourer in the grille and headlights, as well. The 'Ring shots also clearly show off a panoramic sunroof. While these examples wear a lot of obfuscation at the back, it's easy to make out BMW's LED taillights. The X1 shares its UKL platform with the Gran Tourer and the latest Minis, but possibly offers all-wheel drive. It's reportedly going to be offered with a similar range of turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder and 2.0-liter four-cylinder engines, as well. BMW wants world drifting record back in US
Sat, 23 Mar 2013BMW just can't stand the thought of the world record for the longest drift winding up in the hands of someone else. The German automaker is set to take a crack at setting a new record by blowing the old one straight out of the water. A driver in China holds the current title after kicking a car sideways for a full 3.6 miles. Now, on May 11, BMW Performance Driving Instructor Johan Schwartz will attempt to pitch a BMW M5 sideways for some 40 miles as part of a stunt to raise funds for the BMW Pro-Am Charity.
We've had the distinct pleasure of riding with the instructors at the BMW facility in South Carolina, and we can tell you that if anyone can keep an M5 at full tilt for 40 miles, it's these guys. BMW has released a teaser video to drum up attention for the stunt. You can catch it below.
