2005 Bmw X3 3.0i Sport Utility 4-door 3.0l on 2040-cars
Newport Beach, California, United States
I'm selling my 2005 BMW X3 3.0 liter engine. Car has less than 191,000 Highway miles on it, but I'm listing it as such since it is still being driven. This car was used as my weekly commuter car. 90% of the miles on the car are from the highway. Clean title. All original paint. Baby blue on grey interior. Perfect color combination. This car has never been in an accident period.
This car will be great for anyone that needs room in the car for equipment etc, but also want to have the size of a sedan. This car can fit into small parking spots and down narrow city streets. Great car for the family or for college students! The interior is in great shape. The sunroof retracts with no issues and all windows have the factory privacy glass in rear windows. The AC works with no issues. Clean exterior with a couple rock chips from the HWY and there are a couple nickle sized dents from shopping carts (see pictures), clean interior. I have 2 master keys. Title in hand. The car has been serviced regularly and registration is good until March 2015! Also, please be aware that this is a California car that has not seen snow conditions and has no sign of rust wear. Please do not compare these 3.0 liter engines with 2.5L small engines. There is day and night difference. The 3.0 Liter engine gives the car power to go up hills and is more enjoyable to drive with great MPG for its class! Fully loaded. Car has premium package, sport package, sport rims, Bluetooth sync, iPod Adapter, full moon roof, leather, digital ac, radio controls on steering wheel. Bid with confidence!!! |

BMW unleases new M4 as MotoGP safety car
Mon, 10 Mar 2014BMW has some considerable racing prowess to crow about, and draws on those credentials to create models like the new M4. But it's not about to rest on the laurels it's won at the end of innumerable races past and present. Mere months after the release of its latest performance coupe, BMW has already revealed a new M4 touring car for the DTM series, and has now unveiled its new M4 safety car for the MotoGP motorcycle championship.
Revealed on the BMW M Facebook page and set to debut at the front of the grid at the season opener in Qatar a couple weeks from now, the new M4 safety car is just the latest in a long string of official vehicles it has provided to the MotoGP series. Previous examples have included everything from the 1M Coupe to the M6 and the X6 M.
Like its predecessors, the M4 safety car features emergency lighting, special equipment and of course BMW's trademark white livery with red, navy and light blue stripes that, in this arrangement, give the new Williams Martini Racing livery a run for its money. Logos promote the BMW M Performance Parts you can buy to bring your own Bimmer up to spec, which on this car isn't likely have changed much from stock.
2013 Nissan GT-R and 2013 Alpina B6 mix it up on track and street
Fri, 24 May 2013
Here we have Autocar making an unforeseen comparison: the Nissan GT-R against the Alpina B6 at Brands Hatch and on public roads. Steve Sutcliffe clobbers the circuit in the 3,828-pound, all-wheel-drive sports car, then sees how well the 4,114-pound, rear-wheel drive grand tourer does against it.
Sutcliffe says there are quite a few similarities between the two cars, but that's really only on the spec sheet. The Nissan's got two turbos attached to its 3.8-liter V6, 542 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque. The Alpina's got two turbos attached to its 4.4-liter V8, 532 hp and 528 lb-ft. But one's brief is to be a monster on the track, the other on the boulevard, and if there's anything the video demonstrates, it's each car's focus.
Two new RWD Toyota sports cars to join FR-S?
Fri, 09 Aug 2013Toyota as we know it could become a thing of the past. According to Australian site Car Advice, the Japanese brand known for bland cruisers like the Camry and Corolla is preparing to bring two new rear-drive cars to market that would slot above and below the Scion-badged FR-S. This is very, very good news.
Car Advice spoke to the GT86/FR-S' chief engineer, Tatsuya Tada, who claimed, "Akio Toyoda always says to me, Toyota sports car [family] should be three sports car brothers. 86 is in the middle." The oldest "brother" would be the spiritual successor to the Supra, even if it doesn't wear that name. Tada is in charge of that project, while a sub-GT86 project is being headed-up elsewhere.
Tada refused to comment on names (CA specifically mentions MR2 and Celica) for the new small car, but did say that, "Yes it is rear-wheel drive and that's Toyota's strong position - Toyota sports car must be rear-wheel drive." Perhaps the juiciest bit of information obtained from Tada's interview with Car Advice was his hinting that both new sports cars would be joint ventures, like the GT86/FR-S/Subaru BRZ triplets. Tada wouldn't say who Toyota was in bed with on the smaller model, but did mention that the Supra would be a product of the world's largest automaker's partnership with BMW.
