You are bidding on a very clean and well maintained 2002 BMW M3 Convertible. I am selling this for a co-worker of mine. He is very meticulous about his cars, and takes good care of them. He recently purchased a 5-Series sedan due to some life changes and has decided to sell his beloved M3. I have taken very detailed photos of it so that you exactly what you are buying. The car is NOT PERFECT, but it is VERY CLEAN. Some others advertise perfect and flawless, but rarely is that ever true unless the car was never driven and kept in the garage. The paint on this car is in excellent condition with some minor bumps and bruises, which look very pronounced due to the high resolution photos. There are absolutely no mechanical defects with this car, it runs perfect! It has a Navigation system, premium wheels, Xenon headlights, Bluetooth, and heated seats. Top is in great shape too!! There is some minor wear and tear on the interior, but mostly the driver side door near the handle. The M3 does have paint protection film on the hood, so it has remained in very good paint-chip free condition. He does have some maintenance records available to prove good maintenance if required. There's nothing like experiencing open air, German sports car performance in a four-passenger car you can drive every day! The 3.2L inline six-cylinder engine generates 333 hp, has an 8000 RPM redline and a 0-60 time of 5.4 seconds! Combine this with phenomenal handling and braking and you have the complete package for a true adrenalin-filled driver's car. I will be happy to forward any additional and specific questions on the vehicle and will respond accordingly. Check out my feedback and bid with confidence. I am not here to misrepresent and am listing this for him as a favor. The car is priced to sell, and now is the perfect time to own one of these beauties when you can drive around with the top down!!
Good luck to all bidders!!

2015 BMW Alpina B6 xDrive Gran Coupe priced from $118,225* [w/poll]
Wed, 05 Mar 2014If you're in the market for a high-performance BMW and you live in Europe, you've typically had two range of options at your disposal: you could go for one of BMW's own M models, or turn to Alpina. Though technically independent of BMW, Alpina is about as close to the manufacturer as a tuner can get, and many of its models are offered through BMW's own dealer network.
That's overseas, but in the North American market, BMW has typically taken a different approach, offering just one Alpina model - the B7 - to fill in for a lack of M7 performance sedan. That all changes, however, with the debut of the BMW Alpina B6 xDrive Gran Coupe.
Slotting in alongside the M6 Gran Coupe, the Alpina B6 xDrive Gran Coupe is marginally more expensive and slightly less powerful, but makes up for those relative (and negligible) shortcomings in spades. Both are based on the 6 Series Gran Coupe and both pack a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8, but with key differences. Where the M6 produces 560 horsepower, the Alpina offers 'only' 540. But where the M6 channels 500 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, the Alpina drives 540 lb-ft to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic.
BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe gets Bang & Olufsen Individual edition [w/video]
Tue, 10 Jun 2014Not content with a bit part on the options sheet, high-end sound gets a starring role on the BMW Individual 6 Series Gran Coupe Bang & Olufsen Edition. There's no technical difference between the 1,200-watt, 16-speaker High End Surround Sound System in this run of 6 Series Gran Coupes and the $3,700 system you can order as an option on the standard Gran Coupe, but the special edition gets brushed black aluminum finish speaker grilles, a first for the range.
The packages and colors are what set these apart, exteriors available in either Brilliant White Metallic or Dark Graphite II Metallic, interiors possible in either black or Opal White and black. You'll also get upgrades like the Cold Weather, M Sport Edition Packages on the non-M car, the Competition Package and Executive Package on the M, plus piano black wood trim, special floor mats and lots of B&O badging.
This isn't just a special edition, it's a limited edition, with BMW saying only 100 will be produced. Prices start at $116,240 for the 650i B&O Edition and top out at $152,423 for the M6 B&O Edition. There's a press release below with more details, and we've included a video on the stereo itself to help understand why it might deserve a car named after it.
BMW R1200 GS Adventure is made for epic roadtrips
Tue, 08 Oct 2013BMW Motorrad has taken the wraps off of its newest GS Adventure model. Based on the R1200 GS, the Adventure trim makes an already tough bike just a bit tougher, thanks to a number of technical changes that improve off-road capabilities without sacrificing any of the R1200 GS' riding manners.
The most noticeable change might be the larger fuel tank, up in size from 5.3 gallons to 7.9 gallons, although this largely due to the Adventure's lower fuel economy - it loses about three miles per gallon to the regular R1200 GS. BMW claims that the larger tank won't inhibit riding comfort, thanks to its narrow design and placement in the bike's frame. The spring travel is 0.8 inches longer, while there's nearly half an inch of extra ground clearance, which is largely responsible for its improve off-road talents. A new, larger seat promises a more comfortable ride and a greater range of adjustability, while a few tweaks within the engine offer an even smoother delivery of the bike's 125 horsepower and 92 pound-feet of torque.
We have a full gallery of images of the R1200 GS Adventure available up top, along with the entire press release from BMW, which can be found by scrolling down.
