The BMW E46 M3 - first introduced in October 2000, appeared worldwide with the new 3.2 L S54 M-tuned engine. It is known as one of the best vehicles built by BMW, and at the time of introduction had the highest output from a naturally aspirated engine from the manufacturer. With the rate of popularity the M name has been carrying, examples like this have been coming harder to find. This particular M3 is one of the best configured M3's out there. My original goal with the car was to keep the OEM+ theme and take it out for occasional cruises around the city, but with travel and potentially moving, I rather see it go somewhere than have it sit. Specs 2006 M3 Titanium Silver Metallic paint over Imola Red interior Factory options include: - 6-Speed Manual Transmission - Glass Moonroof - Rear Sunshade - Power Front Seats w/ Driver Memory - Xenon Headlights - Aluminum interior trim Aftermarket options include: - TC Kline Double Double Adjustable Suspension - Stop-tech ST40 brakes up front w/ stainless steel brake lines - OEM Competition Package brakes in the rear - OEM Competition Package wheels on Michelin Pilot Super Sports -Brand new OEM ZHP shift knob -Brand new OEM center console with armrest delete -Brand new OEM BMW Alcantara shift boot -Brand new OEM euro tray (eliminates cup holders) -Brand new OEM inner door sill -Brand new OEM "Noah" car cover -Brand new OEM BMW Sun visor -Brand new OEM front grilles -Brand new OEM side grilles and badges -Brand new OEM rear "M3" badge (not installed) I also have these items that can be sold separately: - (4) Brand New In Box Apex PS-7 wheels in 18x9.5ET22 (Hyper Silver) - (1) E46 M3 Style 67 Wheel - (1) Michelin Pilot Super Sport 265/35/r18 - Oem Center Console with armrest Maintenance Prior to my ownership, the car had been family owned (father and son) with very low miles (67k at time of purchase) and meticulously maintained. Vehicle has all the original papers, brochures and all maintenance records at Redline Performance. Exerior is 9.7/10 as the car has a couple rock chips. Very minimal. Interior is 9.9/10 I've replaced the whole center console with brand new OEM parts. Passenger seat is rarely used and rear seats have not been used at all, so they show no blemishes. No rips or tears, no sagging headliner, none of the things you'd be dreading in your E46 M hunt. All electronics work. Both Inspection I and II have been done. PPI done at Motronix in Davie FL and had 0 issues. Subframe has been checked during PPI and came back with 0 problems. No issues with the Vanos. Carfax is clean with no accidents and no issues. Vehicle needs nothing other than gas, a good soundtrack (Jamiroquai's "Traveling Without Moving" is my album of choice) and an open road. This is the perfect line between street/track/garage queen car for any automotive Enthusiast. Buyer must arrange pickup or shipping and I can do my best to help. Please feel free to contact me for any additional questions. Thanks Photos During PPI With some fans at a recent meet |

BMW Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupe and Concept 90 pics from Villa d'Este
Thu, 30 May 2013Royalty and the ultra-wealthy rubbed damp shoulders at this past weekend's Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este on the shores of Italy's Lake Como, but even the rain couldn't extinguish the excitement generated by the millions of dollars of cars and bikes on display. Nowhere was this more true than with BMW, which marked the occasion with the reveal of two stunning concepts with six wheels between them - the shark-nosed Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupe and the retrosexual Concept 90 motorcycle.
Conceived with Italian design house Pininfarina, the Gran Lusso Coupe is a power broker on 21-inch wheels. While we're not completely sold on every element of its design, this twelve-cylinder two-door concept moves us more than the current 6 Series, and not just because it has four more cylinders underhood and 48,000-year-old kauri wood paneling inside. BMW is sadly mum on production hopes, but we're not entirely optimistic - the company has graced us with a number of attractive concepts at Villa d'Este before, only to pack them away again without ever affording them a production future.
If one of these concepts has a better shot at finding its way into dealers, we have to believe it's the Concept 90 under the BMW Motorrad umbrella. Designed to celebrate the 40th anniversary of BMW's R 90 S, we think this Roland Sands Design air-cooled boxer would look fantastic on today's streets, especially with the rising popularity of vintage motorcycles and cafe racers.
BMW M4 Concept beckons the new golden child of M cars
Fri, 16 Aug 2013Ushering in the next-generation of two-door M performance cars for BMW, the new M4 Concept was officially unveiled at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance last night after an unceremonious embargo leak yesterday afternoon. The reality of the fact that we will never again have a new M3 Coupe is a little easier to deal with after browsing the M4 Concept's sleek and sporty lines.
As was the case with the Concept 4 Series Coupe, we expect the this M4 to transition from concept car to production coupe with very few changes. Among the features we's bet against making it into production include the front splitter and the exhaust tips - both made from carbon fiber. Other notable details are the aero-shaped mirrors, the subtle M stripes on the carbon fiber roof and the 20-inch wheels exposing big six-piston from brakes. If it were up to us, we'd say bring this car to production as is - except for the paint color.
There is still no word on the M4's powertrain or if it will even offer a manual geabox, but we would imagine that we'll be seeing this car in production form, complete with all of those details at the LA Auto Show.
Toyota GT86 engineers explored shooting brake and sedan variants, are they still in the cards?
Wed, 13 Mar 2013According to the Toyota UK blog, engineers for the automaker were so excited developing the GT86 coupe that they investigated producing a whole family of models based on the rear-wheel drive sports car. And at least one engineer - product chief Tetsuya Tada - still hopes it can happen, even if not everyone at Toyota is onboard. Tada: "Actually we tried to do this secretly but the executives found us out. They said: 'What are you doing? Will you please focus on the coupe.'"
Those mooted variants included both a four-door sedan and a shooting brake. Why? Aside from the pure excellence of a lightweight, brilliantly handling hatchback, Toyota was keenly aware of the fact that it may need to spread the cost of development out across several models. Tada says that's part of the reason why it was so easy to create the convertible. The company knew from the outset that a softtop version was in the cards, and built the machine's structure to accommodate having the roof sliced off.
Tada also made mention of the already-announced collaboration between Toyota and BMW. The engineer said that the GT86 was particularly helpful because it demonstrated just how successful a product conceived and designed by two different companies can be. While he didn't say exactly what Toyota and BMW are up to, it's clear the two are looking into a number of possibilities. It's an interesting read with a lot of
