I have a garage kept, low mileage 1999 BMW M3. Silver exterior with grey Vader seats. The seats are heated and powered. No tears on the seat. The seats are in great condition. Tires have 90% tread left. Spare tire never used. The only flaws this car has is a saging roofliner and a small dent on the drivers quarter. Someone must of leaned on the quarter. It has been driven only on weekends and currently has less than 60000 miles. Transmission and engine are excellent. The only thing that is not original is the radio. It was very well cared for. Always garaged kept. I need a truck for my family so its time to sell it.

BMW recalls diesel X5 models over fuel filter heater

BMW has announced that it is recalling 1,540 examples of its 2009 and 2010 X5 xDrive35d crossovers produced between June 13, 2009 and November 9, 2009.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the model's fuel filter heater, which warms up the diesel fuel at low outside temperatures, can experience an electrical overload condition that may cause it to become permanently activated. This means the fuel filter heater could remain activated even when the ignition is off, which could lead to a dead battery. It could also lead to overheating, possibly resulting in a fire.

Mon, Dec 1 2014The BMW i8 may be the cutting edge today – it did, after all, just win our Technology of the Year award – but as rare an event as it is, it's not the first time that BMW has put out an extreme mid-engined supercar. The last time was in the late 1970s with the M1, a Giugiaro-designed, (partially) Lamborghini-developed piece of exotic machinery. The better part of four decades later, Auto Express has brought together an original M1 with its spiritual (if much more advanced) successor for the video comparison that was bound to happen. The question we can't help but ponder, initial sales success aside, is whether the i8 will mature into a classic in the same way the M1 has.
