If you're looking for a super clean Z4 M Roadster with super low miles, this is the one you want!  This 2007 M Roadster only has 18,979 miles!  It has been garaged and covered it's entire life.  A true 1-owner, collector's car.  Absolutely gorgeous inside and out.

This M Roadster has the upgraded sound system with the subwoofers and aux cable, 18" alloy wheels, memory seats, and all power options.  It does not have navigation or heated seats.  It has the sport mode, and runs perfectly!  No leaks, no flaws or issues of any kind.  I have looked over the exterior many times and have yet to find a scratch, rock chip, or any other sign of use.  I'm sure there are imperfections, but I have not found any yet.  It truly is a gorgeous, clean car.  The exhaust sounds awesome, and the car roars from 0-60 in under 5 seconds.  It is so tight and fun to drive - probably the overall funnest car I have ever had.

These are so hard to find now, and are getting harder and harder to find.  People are starting to collect the low-mileage M Roadsters and are hanging on to them.  I sell cars for a small dealership, so this one will be sold under the dealership, and I have never registered it, so it is a 1-owner car.

Please call me with any questions!  I'm happy to take additional pictures, research, or whatever I can do to help!  You won't be disappointed with this M Roadster.  The black on black is the best color scheme, in my humble opinion!  Super sleek and sporty! Thanks for looking.

2007, almost 19k miles, M Roadster, 6 speed manual, like-new condition, super nice!

Watch two championship-winning DTM cars from BMW go head-to-head

Mon, 06 May 2013

BMW recently had a little fun with two of the company's past DTM champions. Roberto Ravaglia and Bruno Spengler, winners of the 1989 and 2012 championships, respectively, both showed up at the world-famous Hockenheimring with their title-winning cars. The two swapped seats, with Ravaglia taking the helm of Spengler's BMW M3 DTM racer and Spengler sliding behind the wheel of Ravaglia's first-generation M3 racer in the classic BMW Bank livery, and headed for the track. Spengler got a 23 second head start in the first-gen M3 with Ravaglia chasing behind.
It didn't take long for the older hotshoe to sort out his new ride and close the gap. The short clip below follows the two as they make their way around the circuit, but the really interesting portion comes when the pair begin discussing what they like and don't like about each other's machines. You can check out the full video below for yourself.

Recharge Wrap-up: Tesla Gigafactory gets high-tech neighbors, BMW i8 still comes with a long wait

Tue, Jan 20 2015

Switch plans to build a large data center near the site of Tesla's Gigafactory battery production facility in Reno, Nevada. The 3 million square-foot facility in the Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center will cost $1 billion to build, and eBay is expected to be the main tenant when the first portion is finished in 2016. Apple is also building a data center nearby. One draw for companies like Switch, Apple and Tesla is access to the region's clean power, and the Reno area could become the next big center for high-tech manufacturing. Read more at GigaOm. Daniel Sparks of investing website The Motley Fool has shared his insights after living with the Tesla Model S for four months and 10,000 miles. After driving his 85-kW version through various conditions, including a 2,200-mile road trip, Sparks is optimistic about the car and the company behind it. From his experience, he says that charging is easier than most people believe, and that range anxiety isn't a problem. He calls Tesla's growing Supercharger network a "game changer," citing their quickness, availability and the fact that charging is free for life. He also says that most people seem to know very little about the car. Still, he calls Tesla stock "pricey" with the growth already priced into the shares. Read more at USA Today. The wait for a BMW i8 is about a year, despite efforts to ramp up production. BMW is reducing production of the i3 in order to increase the number of i8s by more than 50 percent for 2015, but the bigger batch won't become available in the US until October. Ludwig Willisch, CEO of BMW North America, says that he doesn't expect cheap gas to slow sales of the i3. He also denies rumors of an i9 positioned above the i8. The new 7 Series appears to be taking some cues from the i8, though, with carbon fiber, magnesium and aluminum construction, as well as improved connectivity. Read more at Automotive News.

BMW i3 qualifies for both green and white HOV stickers in California

Thu, Jan 16 2014

BMW buyers tend to have enough cash on hand to be buffered from the concept of "sticker shock," but the term may take on a different meaning when it comes to the German automaker's i3 plug-in vehicle and its classification by California clean-air regulators. The first i3 EVs are set to be sold in May, and some are questioning if the new car will be eligible for the state's white stickers or green High-Occupancy Vehicle lane stickers, both of which allow for solo-occupancy in HOV lanes. California gives out white stickers to some types of battery-electric vehicles, compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles and hydrogen fuel-cell vehicles, and there's currently no limit on the number that can be given out. The green stickers, which are applied to other battery electrics as well as some plug-in hybrids, are limited (there are currently about 15,000 left) and will likely run out within the next year or two. The i3's status is uncertain because of it has an optional gas-powered range-extender. Jacob Harb, head of electric vehicle operations and strategy for BMW, told AutoblogGreen that it's not all that complicated. The pure electric version of the i3 will get the white sticker, the REx version will get the green sticker. He also said that both will qualify for the $2,500 state incentive in California and the $7,500 federal tax credit available in all 50 states (For what it's worth, Green Car Reports says the REx version will only get $1,500 from California).
