2006 Bmw Z4 M Roadster Convertible 2-door 3.2l on 2040-cars
Whitestone, New York, United States
I am currently selling a 2006 BMW Z4 M Roadster. If youve done any research on this type of car, you will read that there was a problem from factory with shifting from 1st to 2nd gear. I can 100% guarantee you that this car does not have that problem. I recently had the transmission professionally rebuilt by a company that specializes in BMW differentials and transmissions called Diffs Online where they took the entire transmission apart, REM polished every single gear, re placed every synchro and fitting with racing built ones for more power and made the transmission much lighter. I have all invoices and receipts for the build. List of modifications Custom front bumper Custom Angel Eye headlights done by Tekarbon RPI axel back exhaust Vibra Technic Road Motor Mounts Rogue Engineering Transmission Mounts Resonator Delete Short Shifter Kit from Auto Solutions ZHP Shift Knob AUX Input Cable All modifications have been done by professional installers. The only maintenance I do myself is oil changes. I have religously changed the oil in this car every 3000 miles or 3 months with the recommended Castrol TWS Motorsport 10w-60. Differential fluid has just been changed to AMSOIL severe gear oil. Brake and Clutch fluid have been changed to AMSOIL fluid as well. This car has never been smoked in, garage kept under a cover, always professionally detailed and meticulously maintained. I mainly used this car to travel with so 70% of the mileage in this car are highway miles. I frequently drive from Montreal to NYC. All original accessories including the owners manual, keys (including the bmw wallet key), floor mats ETC are present. Dont miss this oppurtunity to own this trule one of a kind vehicle. Any further questions please message.

BMW unleashes new M4 racer on DTM
Mon, 03 Mar 2014We may not get to enjoy the fruits of it all, but we're in the midst of a golden age in touring car racing around the world. In Northern Europe, rival local series have amalgamated into the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship. In the UK, the British Touring Car Championship is enjoying the largest and most diverse grid in its long history. In Australia, the V8 Supercars series has grown from a Holden vs. Ford battle to include challengers from Mercedes, Nissan and Volvo. And in Germany, the DTM championship has managed to lure BMW back onto the grid to open up the battle between Mercedes and Audi. All good things, in short.
Since returning to the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters in 2012, BMW has won the drivers' title once and the constructors' title twice, proving the Bavarian manufacturer to be not only a suitable challenger to the two-horse race between its star- and ring-emblazoned rivals, but the dominant force in German tin-top racing. Now BMW is set to enter its third season since returning to the DTM, and this is the car with which it intends to do so.
Replacing the M3 DTM that has impressively won half of the DTM races it has contested over the past two years, BMW's latest racing car is made in the mold of the new M4 coupe. Only it's even meaner. While the production version has switched to a turbo six, the DTM version still uses a V8: a 4.0-liter unit with four-valve cylinder heads, mandatory air restrictors and a Bosch ECU to channel 480 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque to the rear set of Hankook racing slicks through a six-speed sequential gearbox. The lightweight chassis is rounded out with competition-level aerodynamics and all the mandatory safety equipment.
2015 BMW M3 and M4 configurator launched, no lunch hour safe
Thu, 03 Apr 2014BMW has just made your lunch break a little more interesting by launching the configurators for the M3 and M4. Pricing and options for the new sports coupe and sedan was revealed just a few days ago, but it's always more fun to see the visual effect your personalizations have on the bottom line.
The M3 and M4 start at $62,000 and $64,200, respectively, without a $925 destination charge. However, as soon as the configurator is opened, both models default with metallic paint ($550) and the M Double-clutch Transmission ($2900), plus extended leather on the M3 ($950) and full leather on the M4 ($3,500). This is basically the way they were shown when displayed at auto shows. Of course, there's nothing preventing users from setting up these performance machines however they like.
So sit down at your desk with a cup of coffee or a sandwich and create your perfect German sport sedan or coupe. It's always fun to see how much money can be spent on a dream car.
