To all that saw this car listed previously, my apologies for the delay and I appreciate your patience. This is my 2002 BMW M Roadster with only 18,900 miles. The car is Laguna Seca Blue with a black and grey leather interior. Add-ons / extras include stainless roll bars (originals boxed and included in sale), Dinan front strut bar, NIB floor mats (originals still in car), NIB rear window (original is fine, but the plastic windows do age. You're ahead of the curve with this car), illuminated chrome shift knob (original boxed and included in sale), Dinan Diff. support reinforcement kit (not installed), and Four new Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires mounted on freshly refinished wheels (they look awesome!), Hamann pedals (not installed), custom oil cap, and NIB OE BMW car cover. Books, tools, spare, pump, two wind blockers (one OEM & one Plexiglas), and original Monroney / window sticker included. I am the second owner. The car was originally owned in Colorado and female driven. Car has always been garaged until recently and has never been driven in the rain; at least not by me and that is what I was told when I purchased the car. Due to my house being remodeled and the subsequent lose of my garage space, the car is now temporarily outside. However, it is double covered (water-proof & breathable Tyvek cover) and padded. Car looks beautiful! In my opinion, the stainless roll bars look awesome and give the car a much sportier and true roadster look compared to stock. However, you will get the originals and swapping them is a very easy task. The Dinan Differential support kit was not installed on the recommendation of my local Dinan dealer based on how I drive the car. If you live in the Mountains or plan to drive it hard, have it installed. The car has been driven less than 1500 miles during the last 2-1/2 years. This is a very clean car. Notice the factory paint marks and cosmoline in the pictures (light brown/dull/dirty looking stuff). That said, I want to be as honest as possible and the car is not perfect. Being a car with a low nose that spent most of its life in Colorado, it does have some rock chips on the nose. There are two small scratches by each front "fender" (I will add pictures). Of more concern would be the passenger side skirt that was scratched in storage (I will add picture). I took the car to a BMW certified body shop that has a very good reputation here in Atlanta and they will repair it for $300. They can also repair the chips and scratches, but advised me not to do so. I also recently found out that the front spoiler has been painted. The color is a perfect match and was not noticed when I had the car inspected. At this time, I am not planning to have the side skirt repaired. Individuals get picky about this sort of work and I'm going to let the new owner do what they want done. I have priced the car accordingly. I will give the buyer the printed estimates. The side bolster on the left of the drivers seat has normal wear. The rest of the seats look new. This everything I can think of that a potential buyer should know of which I am aware, but feel free to ask any questions. The car is a great fun, fast, and appreciating ride. With only around 1600 LHD units produced, I believe these M cars are true modern collectables and the numbers back me up. Values have been increasing over the past few years. I can't remember the exact production numbers, but the number of these cars produced in this color combination was in the teens. At least one of those is believed to have been totaled. There was an easy way to look this up online, but I can't find the site. The Roadster will be for sale locally and I reserve the right to end this listing at any time. BMW 3 Series set for mild facelift
Fri, 28 Mar 2014The latest BMW 3 Series is pretty new, right? Well it's been on the market for the better part of three years now. And on a typical six-year production cycle, that means it's halfway through its life. It only makes sense, then, that BMW should be preparing a little mid-life facelift, and that's just what we appear to be looking at in these latest spy shots.
The changes will likely be minimal when the revised 3 Series debuts sometime in the middle of next year, with the visual changes to the exterior centering around a new front bumper. New lighting front and rear may also be part of the package, and you can also expect some updates to the interior while those Bavarian engineers are at it. Trump calls Germans 'very bad,' vows to stop their car sales in US
Fri, May 26 2017TAORMINA, Italy -Talks between President Trump and other leaders of the world's rich nations at the G7 summit on Friday were expected to be "robust" and "challenging" after he had lambasted NATO allies and condemned Germans as "very bad" for their trade policies. Trump's confrontational remarks in Brussels, on the eve of the two-day summit in the Mediterranean resort town of Taormina, cast a pall over a meeting at which America's partners had hoped to coax him into softening his stances on trade and climate change. According to German media reports, Trump condemned Germany as "very bad" for its trade policies in a meeting with European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, signaling he might take steps to limit sales of German cars in the United States. "The Germans are bad, very bad," he reportedly told Juncker. "Look at the millions of cars that they're selling in the USA. Horrible. We're gonna stop that." White House economic adviser Gary Cohn on Friday confirmed the reports. "He said they're very bad on trade, but he doesn't have a problem with Germany." Cohn said Trump had pointed out during the meeting that his father had German roots in order to underscore the message that he had nothing against the German people. Trump's spokesman Sean Spicer said Trump had "tremendous respect" for Germany and had only complained about unfair trade practices in the meeting. Juncker called the reports in Spiegel Online and Sueddeutsche Zeitung exaggerated. The reports translated "bad" with the German word "boese," which can also mean "evil," leading to confusion when English-language media translated the German reports back into English. "The record has to be set straight," Juncker said, noting that the translation issue had exaggerated the seriousness of what Trump had said. "It's not true that the president took an aggressive approach when it came to the German trade surplus." "He said, like others have, that (the United States) has a problem with the German surplus. So he was not aggressive at all," Juncker added. In January, Trump threatened to slap a 35 percent tax on German auto imports. "If you want to build cars in the world, then I wish you all the best. You can build cars for the United States, but for every car that comes to the USA, you will pay 35 percent tax," he said. "I would tell BMW that if you are building a factory in Mexico and plan to sell cars to the USA, without a 35 percent tax, then you can forget that." Last year, the U.S.
