2001 3.0L Automatic BMW for sale. $21,000 OBO. Roughly 34,000 miles on it. I am the 3rd owner of this car. It originated in Texas and the 2 previous owners took very good care of it. The car has brand new tires and battery. Exterior paint is Atlantic Blue and the top is tan. Looks great except for a few minor scratches and dents. Was going to have it repainted, but ran out of time. Everything is in working condition, except the windshield washer pump needs to be replaced. Brand new Kenwood, Pandora ready MP3/WVA stereo and bottom door speakers professionally installed by Mike's Audio here in town. Subwoofer needs to be replaced, but other speakers sound great. Great car, really fast, only selling b/c I'm moving and don't have the room for it. If interested, email me at pmt3131@gmail.com. BMW has announced the 2015 M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe, high-performance versions of the new 3 Series and 4 Series that launched this year. The new Ms have stirred controversy in a variety of ways, but one must remember that the M cars traditionally don't follow a specific mold.

Wed, 04 Jun 2014From the very beginning, the BMW 8 Series was a head turner. It was hardly a common sight in the first place, and the angular lines and low, pointed nose made the GT look like something special on the road. It's been 25 years since the Bavarian brand's flagship coupe of the '90s debuted, and owners celebrated the anniversary in style in Germany.
The 8 Series still looks great today, but its popup headlights give away its age a little. You just don't see them anymore. It was introduced at the 1989 Frankfurt Motor Show as the 850i with a 5.0-liter V12 under the hood capable of 295 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque. Later, even bigger V12s would find their way in there. Production lasted until 1999, but they were rather exclusive with 30,621 built in its lifetime.
To celebrate the anniversary, several BMW clubs organized 120 examples for display at the company's headquarters in Munich. The brand took advantage of the display to show off the ultimate 8 prototype as well. The one-off special packed a 550-horsepower V12 and a body with optimized aero. That engine eventually became the basis for the one in the McLaren F1.

BMW has taken the wraps off its replacement for the 1 Series, the 2 Series, ahead of an official debut at the 2014 North American International Auto Show in January. Pricing for the new coupe starts at $32,100 for the 228i and $43,100 for the M235i that we showed you earlier today - not including $925 for destination. And before you break out the torches and pitchforks, know that those numbers compare favorably with the current 128i Coupe and 135is Coupe, which start at $31,500 and $43,550, respectively.
