2000 Bmw Z3 M Coupe Coupe 2-door 3.2l Z3 M3 E36 S52 S54 Alpine White on 2040-cars
Portland, Oregon, United States
Sadly I must sell my beloved M Coupe. I bought the car ~6 months ago with intentions of keeping it for a long time. I even built a shed in my back yard so I had room in the garage for the car. Unfortunately we are finding that it just is not as practical a car as we need. It is the most fun car I have owned and will greatly miss it!
The M Coupe is basically a hard top hatchback Z3 with the E36 M3 S52 inline 6 cylinder engine. I am going to assume that if you are still reading, you know what you are looking at, so I will spare the details. Feel free to contact me if you want more info. The color is Alpine White III Interior is Dark Beige Oregon It is 1 of only 26 made in this color combination. Key points: -I am the third owner of the car -It has always been garaged -I have meticulous records from the 2nd owner since 2003 -It has a clear title and car fax, no accidents -5-spd manual transmission -Sunroof -Heated Leather seats -Tinted windows -18" Beyern Wheels with new tires -Stock wheels with decent tread included Before I bought it I had it inspected at a local BMW shop. After I bought it I took it to a second shop for a second opinion and they both checked out with exactly the same info. I then had everything on their list performed so it is in tip-top shape. This totaled over $1,500 and included the following: -Guibo (drive shaft flex joint) -Brake fluid flush -Transmission flush (synthetic) -Oil/filter change (synthetic) -Transmission output shaft seal -Transmission shift rod seal -Shift bushings -Front Brakes (slotted & drilled rotors, pads) I specifically asked they inspect the subframe and they found no sign of any cracking or stress. This is an extremely clean and well cared for M Coupe. No trades unless it is a 2008-2012 Subaru Impreza WRX hatchback. More photos available upon request. Thanks, Tyler |

History of BMW touring cars looks splendid in Adrenalin trailer
Wed, 15 Oct 2014More high-quality documentaries about the history of motorsports are always welcome. When thinking about racing, we generally focus on moving forward to go a little faster or shave a tenth of a second off a lap. There's not much time to look backward. It's too bad, because there are so many fantastic stories from the sport's history. Thankfully, an upcoming doc is taking on the challenge of telling some of these tales, and it looks like a movie not to miss, especially for BMW fans.
Adrenalin - The BMW Touring Car Story mixes high-quality, vintage footage with new interviews from many of the drivers of these machines to craft what looks like a fantastic experience. Covering the period from the '60s to the modern DTM era, just the trailer shows racing from the 2002, 3.0 CSL and of course the E30 chassis M3 of the '80s. You also get to hear from legends behind the wheel like Hans-Joachim Stuck, Johnny Cecotto and Joachim Winkelhock telling their stories.
Adrenalin comes out in November on DVD, Blu-Ray and on-demand. Check out its trailer above for a taste at what it's aiming for. The documentary definitely looks like one to watch.
The List: The Red BMW - A Retrospective
Mon, 23 Dec 2013We can't help but use this time of year to look back at the days before and reminisce about friends who are no longer in our lives. For The List, Jessi and Patrick were often joined by a little, red BMW 3 Series that, at times, felt like a third host of the show. Having been bought used for just a thousand bucks, the red BMW proved to be surprisingly durable. Through jumps, dunks and monster trucks, it remained our little trooper 'till the very end, and on the way taught us all how important a faithful four-wheeled companion is to the life's work of completing one's automotive bucket list.
For our last episode of The List in 2013, we give you The Red BMW - A Retrospective.

Audi S3 pitted against BMW M135i in track battle
Fri, 07 Mar 2014Audi and BMW have long been enemies on both the road and the track, with their respective M and S/RS lines duking it out to the delight of auto enthusiasts everywhere. In this video from Evo, two of the rivalry's newest combatants take to the track - the Audi S3 and the BMW M135i.
The new Audi S3, which is finally coming to America, throws down with a 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder. 290 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque are deployed to a Quattro all-wheel-drive system via a six-speed, S-Tronic dual-clutch transmission, allowing the five-door Audi to scamper to 60 in under five seconds.
The BMW, which Americans will know as a long-roof version of the new M235i Coupe, comes to the track with 320 ponies and 331 lb-ft of torque. That's a good bit more than the Audi, but the M135i has only two wheels to send its power to, an eight-speed single-clutch automatic (a six-speed manual is available) and a slightly higher curb weight.
