This is a original owner 1997 BMW Z3 with super low miles. The car was special ordered and purchased brand new in Los Angeles for my mother in law as a present for her 20th wedding anniversry. It has never been left outside overnight and has always been garaged and well cared for. Of course no one has ever smoked inside this car and more importantly I have ALL the records since brand new. The black canvas top is perfect with no tears or wear showing at all. We also have the original factory canvas convertible boot top. This car was special ordered with an interior chrome package and with every option available. The interior has slight wear showing on the left side of the driver seat (common for a high seat bolsters) and can be re-dyed. The stereo works great although the center woofer needs to be replaced. The paint is nearly perfect with only some small divots from when I got stuck in a hail storm. Everything on the car works and the Dunlop tires are nearly brand new. This car has been super reliable with no issues. The registration has been paid in California for almost a full year. This car is offered for sale mainly because we rarely drive it (we have 4 other cars). This car has been part of our family for the last 15 years and can now be part of yours. BMW M235i Racing restores our faith in 'M'
Wed, 20 Nov 2013Based on the upcoming BMW 2 Series and aimed at amateur and semi-professional racers, the 2014 BMW M235i Racing is a stripped-down, race-spec coupe ready to take on the Nürburgring in the VLN Endurance Championship race series against cars from Audi, Porsche and Toyota.
Obvious in the image above (click to enlarge), BMW has given the M235i Racing the wide-body treatment with a track that has been stretched by 3.5 inches. Under the hood, the 3.0-liter turbocharged inline six-cylinder receives a power boost from a stock 322 horsepower up slightly to 333 hp, while other modifications include a full FIA roll cage, a racing fuel tank and a limited slip rear differential.
The M235i Racing replaces the M3 GT4 as BMW's factory racer, and it will be priced at 59,500 euros (close to $80,000), which is about as affordable as a factory-prepped racecar can get. The full press release is posted below, but we can't wait to see this car in action next year.

Next BMW X6 to be larger, more aggressive
Tue, 16 Apr 2013If the current BMW X6, introduced in 2008, is looking a bit too bland for your tastes, have no fear as the next-generation model is reportedly going to be larger and more aggressive than its predecessor.
Autocar is reporting that an insider has revealed the all-new second-generation X6 will make its world debut at the 2014 Moscow Motor Show, going on sale just after summer. More aggressive styling will help BMW distinguish its sportier X6 from BMW's more practical models, such as the X3 and X5, said the source.
The next X6 will again share platforms with the X5, but it will be stretched slightly to provide second-row passengers with more legroom. Powerplants will also likely mirror those of its mainstream cousin, including a range of turbocharged six- and eight-cylinder engines and a range-topping M model (the 2013 BMW X6 M is show above).
