Up for sale is our 2008 BMW X5 4.8 with lots of options. It was driven by my wife in Florida and did a ton of trips from Ft.Myers to Dolphins stadium where she worked. Most of this mileage was on the highway. I am very meticulous about my vehicles so all of the services were preformed by BMW certified technicians only. This truck has a brand new water pump and the seals were re-done on the motor due to an oil leak (Common on BMW motors), It also just had the brakes done, A brand new battery installed, The wheels professionally refinished last month in gloss black powder coat. They have no blemishes or scratches. New tires last Dec of 2012 with the intention of keeping it for allot longer. My wife simply wants a new car because she has driven this allot, and are kids are old enough for a sedan now.

The vehicle was hit in the passenger door when a vehicle in the lane next to me turned into my lane without looking, (across a yellow line I might add lol) the damage was minor and the door was replaced completely and color matched to perfection by Collex Collision in Ft.Myers a five star body shop you can check them out. They have all of the records. There was no frame damage. The truck was polished and all small marks were taken out. It looks and drives brand new!!

See the photos for a list of the options this vehicle has I paid $73,000 for it plus tax. I have the title in hand and am open to a reasonable offer but it has been priced fairly due to the $5000 I just spent on reconditioning it.

BMW predicts US will be biggest i8 market

BMW will be showing a production version of its new i8 plug-in hybrid supercar at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show, and while we're quite excited about seeing the company's second i product in the flesh. According to a new report from Automotive News Europe, BMW is expecting its largest markets to be the United States, United Kingdom and Germany. Notable for its absence in that list is everybody's favorite mega-market, China.
Automobilwoche, a German-language publication of Automotive News Europe, spoke with the i8's product manager, Hendrik Wenders, who declared, "The US will be by far the largest sales market for the i8." Wenders stops short of actual mentioning what percentage of i8 sales will be in the US, but does mention that it should arrive in showrooms around the world in about nine months. The simultaneous rollout will occur in 50 different countries.

First BMW i8 in US to be auctioned off at Pebble Beach

Snag yourself a BMW i8 at the upcoming Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance Weekend and you won't only be the first in the US to own this model, you'll be getting a one-of-a-kind version of BMW's new gas-electric plug-in marvel. The special i8 will come with a special exterior paint color (called Frozen Grey Metallic) as well as a modified Pure Impulse Tera World interior that has "Concours d'Elegance Edition" etched in and comes with "Dalbergia Brown leather upholstery, which is tanned using dye derived from plant extracts." Tell all your treehugger friends. The 2014 BMW i8 Concours d'Elegance Edition also has laser headlights (as long as BMW gets government approval for them in the US) and comes with the first BMW Charging Station, professional edition. The standard i8 starts at $135,700 and Gooding & Company expects the special i8 to bring in between $150,000 and $200,000 at the auction. We'll find out Saturday, August 16. As a bonus, there's no reserve. The Concours d'Elegance is not a complete stranger to electric vehicles, hosting an EV display at the Meadow Brook Concours in suburban Detroit last year. Who knew that diecast model makers could be such a good source of leaks? Less than a month after a diecast model 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA in China, someone overseas at Diecast Empire or Jadi Modelcraft could get a bath in boiling oil for leaking uncamouflaged images of the next-generation BMW X5.
Naturally, that assumes that this image from a brochure from a Jadi brochure is indeed the F15 BMW X5 - it was posted to Diecast Empire's Facebook page. In its favor, the lines all add up if we compare it to the most revealing spy shots we have of the coming crossover - the headlight corners, the metal trim separating the kidney grille from the opening just above the license plate, the cut of the swage line, and the fact that the model picture reveals all of the most important character pieces that BMW has kept covered.
There's something written on the door of the model image that isn't in the spy shots, but that could be an xDrive badge. We will see the genuine article soon enough and we'll know for sure. For now, we might have already seen its facsimile in miniature.
