The exterior of this BMW is in good overall shape. The body looks straight and the paint is shiny and bright and looks good overall, but it does show some dings, scratches, etc. The tires are a BRAND NEW match set with great tread. There are no cracks in the windshield, but it does show some typical road wear, rock chips, etc. It has the typical scratches/dings/dents/rock chips that you'd expect, that are consistent with age and use on a 2001 SUV, but it still has an overall nice look. The interior of this X5 is in overall good shape. The leather looks good overall, but does show some wear and blems here and there. The carpets are in good shape overall, but do show some blems. The headliner has been cleaned and has a good overall look to it. The air blows cold - we ran it for over 30 minutes while taking pictures. It doesn't appear to have been smoked in as there is no odor of such. It has the typical light scuffs, blems, etc. that you'd expect on a used vehicle, but it still has an overall good look to it, and it certainly looks to have been well taken care of. mechanics

This inline 6 starts right up and idles fine and has good power and acceleration and drives straight and smooth down the road. It has a good solid feel to it. We’ve inspected, serviced and detailed it and it’s ready to drive wherever you need.

Buyer reserves the right to an inspection before purchase - specifically - BEFORE you " Make an Offer" or hit the " Buy it Now " button. We do our very best to inspect the vehicles and make sure that everything is in safe and operating condition. Our policy is that we wouldn't put a vehicle up for sale if we personally wouldn't drive across country in it. Each vehicle is gone through before they are offered for sale. We are not selling brand new vehicles, but try very hard to ensure you're getting a great value. We also change the oil and filter before it's sold.

Payment

Successful bidder must contact us within 2 days of the close of the auction, and must submit a deposit of $500 within 48 hours of auction end. Remaining balance is to be paid within 7 days of the close of the auction. We accept Paypal and Credit Cards - Master Card, Discover, Visa, Debit-Cards - FOR DEPOSITS ONLY. For payment of balance, we accept Bank Loan checks, Wire Transfers, Money Orders,/ Cashiers Checks, Cash. Personal checks will be accepted if arrangements are made in advance. We are happy to work with your bank if you are getting your own financing. We do not take Credit Cards for the entire amount. Our dealer handling fee is $249.

COLORADO RESIDENTS - We collect taxes on Colorado residents only.

Delivery/Shipping

You have two major options for delivery. You can either have it shipped, which we can help arrange, or you can pick up the vehicle here at our location. We regularly pick up people at Denver International Airport (DEN) free of charge and bring them to the lot for pickup, as long as you fly in during our business hours. The airport is about 35 minutes from our store, and is about a $100 taxi fare. We provide a 2-month permit for every vehicle. This is like a 2-month license plate.

We regularly use a shipping company called Diamond Express Transportation. We have shipped several hundred vehicles with them without a single problem. Our contact's are Shawn or Ryan or Joe @ 719.593.7770. Most quotes are between $450 to $850 depending on the size of the vehicle and the distance. We'd be happy to get you a quote by calling us at 720.346.4004, or you can contact them directly - just let them know you are our customer so that you get our pricing.

Dealer Disclosure

We do our very best to describe the vehicles as they really are and the options they have, though everyone has a different opinion of what a condition might be. It is your responsibility to examine all the photos carefully and read the full text of the advertisement, and to call with any questions or concerns, BEFORE you Make an Offer/ Buy It Now. We are one of the few eBay sellers that provide you with 70 - 100 close-up pictures of each vehicle - we obviously are not trying to hide anything. We have a Dealer Transfer fee of $249.00. If you are out of state, we do not collect taxes. For Colorado residents, we have to collect state tax, and any other applicable taxes, costs, etc.

If you are having the vehicle shipped to you, we cannot release it for shipping until we have all the State forms/Dealer forms signed and returned, and the vehicle is paid in full.

It's been a good morning for Mercedes-Benz, with three of the company's wares taking home awards today at the New York Auto Show. The 2015 World Car of the Year awards have just been announced, and the charming new C-Class sedan has taken top honors, beating both the new Volkswagen Passat and Ford Mustang. But Car of the Year isn't the only award Mercedes received this morning. Here are the other World Car announcements, where M-B was honored two more times. World Performance Car of the Year: Mercedes-AMG GT World Luxury Car of the Year: Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe World Green Car of the Year: BMW i8 World Car Design of the Year: Citroen C4 Cactus Congratulations, all around, to this fantastic group of cars.

2014 BMW 4 Series Convertible [w/video]

Here it is, the fifth generation of BMW's 3 Series Convertible - only this one begins with a "4," having been rechristened as a droptop version of the new 4 Series Coupe. With thirty years of work on this same recipe and having gotten it so right for much of that time, the Munich compact premium convertible has been a WYSIWYG affair for decades: once you saw its sedan paradigm, you knew what it was going to look like in roofless two-door form, and what you saw is exactly what you got.
It is ridiculous to think that BMW would choose this new model and its new nomenclature to muck things up. The new car has, though, gotten larger and roomier, and even though it's now part of the racier coupe division within the company's compact line, it has gotten more, shall we say, mature. Driving even further away from the days when handsomely tipped bartenders could work their way into one, The Ultimate Tanning Machine had shed even more elan, going instead for elegance and an attitude befitting its $49,675 starting price (including $925 for destination).
It strikes a few odd notes, but what it does best, it still does better than anything else out there in its price range.

Mercedes says it's tops in luxury sales for 2012, not BMW

It turns out that Mercedes-Benz North America has legitimate claim to being the top selling luxury nameplate in the US in 2012.
While sources such as Autodata had put BMW in the top spot, registration data from R.L. Polk shows that Mercedes customers registering new vehicles topped the Bavarian automaker in the most recent calendar year. Polk says Benz posted 274,123 registrations, compared with BMW's 268,498.
In terms of sales posted, BMW had bested Benz 281,460 to 274,134. But sales are recorded somewhat inconsistently from automaker to automaker. Some book the sales as soon as they are shipped from factory to dealer. There is perennial gamesmanship between the two German rivals, and the sales numbers suggest that BMW pushed out some extra sheetmetal to dealers in the last four weeks of the year.
