2004 BMW X5 3.0i
I am pleased to offer this 2 owner BMW X5 3.0i. This BMW is in immaculate condition with only a couple of minor imperfections all of which can be seen in the pictures. This BMW carries a near perfect Carfax. We also have service records from 62000 miles to current. We will make these records as well as the Carfax available on request. I will note that oil services and new brakes including rotors were performed at 96000 miles. The body condition is excellent with some faint scuffs on the rear bumper. I have tried to picture any imperfections so that you can see just how nice and original this BMW is. I might add that there is a light tint on the windows with some imperfections in the tint, none of which bother me and will assume the same for you. The interior is beautiful, soft creamy beige leather, sunroof and fold down seats that look darn near new. I do not have the front floor mats or the books. I have put a call in to the previous owner to see if he might have at least the books. A single remote key is provided. Needless to say this is a beautiful performing BMW X5 with everything working correctly. There are no mechanical issues and the tires are near new mounted on scuff free alloy wheels. One final note this X5 does have the factory CD player. As always my reserve is below market and reflects any paint touch on the bumper cover that you might have done. This vehicle is for sale and can be inspected during regular business hours. Thanks for looking.

KY bidders will add 6% usage tax and $199 transfer/doc fees. Out of state residents will add $128 to cover title fees, mailing costs, temporary tags, etc. Contact to be made by winning bidder within business 24 hours and a minimum partial payment to be made within 72 hours of auction end. The partial payment is non-refundable, unless we fail to deliver the goods as described. Balance will be due within 7 business days of the close of the auction. Any exceptions to be worked out before the completion of the sale. Auctions ending on a Friday or holiday will be addressed the follow business day. We will be happy to assist the new owner in arranging transportation from our nearby airport, Lexington Bluegrass Field, at no extra charge.

A complaint by an Australian movie-goer has put the brakes on an extended in-theater ad campaign by BMW, and drawn the attention of the country's Advertising Standards Board. According to the anonymous complaint, the ad "portrays an unfavorable message, contrary to safe and sensible driving."
The ASB upheld the complaint, which said the ad for the new M235i showed driving "typical of hoon activity," thanks to the burnouts, dusty drifts and runs up to redline. It's that last one that seems to have gotten the spot in the most trouble, with the ASB acknowledging that even though the car wasn't shown breaking the speed limit, the ad was in violation of a voluntary code of conduct for automotive advertising, according to Australia's Go Auto.
BMW doesn't seem to agree, pointing out that the ad uses creative editing, aggressive camera angles and other filming tricks to "add visual impact."

Project CARS is aiming to be the next great racing sim. Offering a mix of modern and classic cars on famous tracks, developer Slightly Mad Studios is trying to inject a fresh energy into the genre, and at the moment its game looks ready to take on Forza and Gran Turismo.
The game is still about six months from release, and the graphics already look practically photorealistic. The video below shows side-by-side laps of Laguna Seca in a BMW - real life on the left and the game on the right. It's absolutely astounding. Other than some changes to the sponsorship around the track, they are almost identical.
Of course anyone with quality seat time in a racing sim knows that graphics are just one factor. How the game feels is even more important, and without getting hands on, it's impossible to judge yet. However, consider our interest piqued. Project CARS is scheduled to launch in November on the Sony PlayStation 4, Microsoft Xbox One, Nintendo WiiU, Windows PC and Steam OS.
