2007 Bmw X3 3.0si Sport Utility 4-door on 2040-cars
Los Altos, California, United States
Send me questions at : AngelRitchie257c5iv54@yahoo.com Selling my extremely clean 2007 BMW X3 3.0si at This X3 is in great conditionand drives like new. Only has 87,000 miles. Body is very straight and whitepaint is very nice, shiny, and clean. Normal wear for a car of this age but muchcleaner than other X3's you will find for sale. I think this is the nicestcolor combination they make. It is not easy to find but truly stunning. Interioris in beautiful shape and the tan leather and wood accents add to the luxuriousfeel of driving this BMW. It is all wheel drive and grips to the road. Safe foryour family in bad weather like rain and light snow. The automatic transmissionshifts smoothly, steering is tight, and the inline 6 cylinder engine has justabout the same power as the much costlier to operate and maintain V8 X5.Originally I was looking for the X5 but quickly discovered that it's onlyan inch more head room and a few inches shorter. The V8 engine is prone toexpensive oil leaks and if it has the adjustable ride height, then you could bein for a $2,000. computer repair if it malfunctions. For these reasons I decidedthe straight six engine is where BMW shines. They have been building sixeslonger than eights and it shows in the horsepower and reliability. Truly a"Driving Machine" and a pleasure to drive such a comfortable car. One of thebest features of this vehicle is the large automatic sunroof. Stereo systemsounds great. AC blows cold. All gauges, lights, and functions work perfectly. Two brand new tires in the front and the tires in the rear still have decenttread. CONS: Rear bumper has some small touch-up painted nicks. Carpet could usea good shampoo. Rear passenger door has a small dent near the door handle butit's very hard to see, you actually have to look carefully for it. Rear towhitch cover is missing.

How to charge up your BMW i3 with a Honda
Sat, Sep 13 2014Behold a cheaper version of BMW's range extender for its i3 plug-in. And it's brought to you by ... Honda? Sort of, if you take the approach that Gadget Review took when it looked for an alternative to ponying up the $4,000 or so for the gas-powered i3 range extender that comes from the factory. What was procured was a Honda portable generator for Home Depot for the experiment, which involved gassing the generator up in a parking lot, plugging in the i3 and going out for a cup of coffee. The result was that, after about a half-hour of charging, the i3 picked up about four miles of driving range. Not exactly revolutionary but it least a bit instructive. And given that Honda generators start at about $800, the idea, while clunky, is potentially cash-saving. Gadget Review briefly took the experiment one-step further by trying to run the generator inside the back of the car and plugging in, complete with a rigged-up ventilation system, but the host thought better of it once he realized that there'd be suffocation involved. Why this was never tried on the Nissan Leaf, we'll never know. Check out Gadget Review's five-minute video below.
BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe spotted wearing minimal camo, M Sport pack
Mon, 14 Oct 2013The new BMW 4 Series is essentially the coupe version of the latest 3 Series. So it would stand to reason that the four-door version of the 4 Series, in turn, would be the 3 Series - right? Well, yes and no.
Just as BMW offers both a 5 Series sedan and a four-door version of the 6 Series called the Gran Coupe, so, too, will its 4-Series family expand. So following the release of the new 4 Series Convertible, here we have the latest batch of spy shots showing the upcoming 4 Series Gran Coupe - which in turn should not be confused with the hunchbacked 3 Series Gran Turismo, which is more of a sporty wagon than a four-door coupe.
The nearly ready test vehicle pictured here is wearing only minimal camouflage to hide some last few details, but also appears to be wearing the M Sport package that will bridge the gap (at least, visually speaking) between the base models and the M4 Gran Coupe that is all but certain to follow.
BMW X4 M probably not in the cards
Thu, 26 Sep 2013BMW is preparing to exploit its latest market niche - those that find themselves unable to choose between the 3 Series, 4 Series and X3 - with the X4. If you're looking for an M product, though, you'll remain limited to the 3 and 4 Series. BMW's Bernhard Ederer, at the Australian launch of the X5, told Car Advice he wouldn't "bet on it," when asked about a hotter X4.
Oddly, Ederer's reasoning, according to the Aussies, is out of concern for the X6 M, whose sales the X4 M would apparently cannibalize. That's like saying the M3 doesn't make sense because it will cannibalize M5 sales - the logic just doesn't really hold up. "The question is what customers are we talking to? And are we talking to someone that is willing and able to afford [an X6 M]?" Ederer told Car Advice.
Car Advice seems to feel the same way, claiming the X3-based X4 will share its powertrains with its donor platform, and will eventually spawn an M variant, albeit a few years down the line.
