Up for sale today is a one of a kind 2006 BMW M6 coupe with thousands of dollars into custom aftermarket modifications. You will NOT find a nicer M6 used. This beautiful V10 beast has just over 68K miles - and not a single issue to be fixed. It has been meticulously maintained and turns heads everywhere it goes. With the Interlagos Blue exterior and White Merano Leather interior, this is the sharpest M6 on the planet. This M6 is FULLY loaded with every option available including Carbon Fiber interior trim, heads up display, universal garage opener, park distance control, navigation, voice command, HD radio, Logic 7 premium sound system, keyless remote start comfort access, Bluetooth, satellite radio, and brand new BMW floor mats. There was no option left out on this build sheet.

This car looks and drives amazing. It has always been kept up on full oil changes and all maintenance. The MSRP was $109,190 and it was well worth it. It has NEVER been in an accident (I have a clean, accident and problem free CarFax for this vehicle for the buyer) and it has never been smoked in. Always garaged, never driven in winter or rain. The exterior looks great with a few tiny paint chips and a nick on the rear bumper. Light curb rash from the valet hitting the damn curb on the wheels. The interior looks great as you can see with just minor fading as shown in the pictures.

Major maintenance done within the 2 last months include rod bearing replacement, and a new clutch & flywheel due to one of the rivets coming loose in the old clutch pack. Full Oil changes, spark plugs, air filter, rear wheel hubs and bearings, brake pads, windshield seal and much more. The SMG pump and clutch were BOTH replaced due to an error code for the SMG transmission. The cost on the clutch replacement was $1550, and the new SMG pump and install was $4500. After all that, it ended up being a sensor, so I have a used but functional SMG pump and clutch available to the next buyer for a good deal. If you have done your research on these cars, you will see the only problem with these M5 and M6s is the SMG and Rod Bearings, which were JUST replaced. Buying this M6 will remove that headache from occurring in the future. There are pictures of the replaced SMG Pump and clutch at the bottom of this ad. You can also find a picture of the $4k clutch & flywheel replacement last month. Also within the last year I replaced a New OEM Alternator, OEM Battery, Steering Wheel Angle Sensor, Crank & Camshaft Position Sensors.

Now on to the modifications. This car has had thousands invested into it, and has won numerous car shows. I get stopped religiously every time I drive and get gas by people every time I take it out. Valet always parks it out front of their location every where I go. Here is a short list of what has been done so far:

2020 Lamborghini Huracan Evo has the biggest price discount in America

Thu, Apr 9 2020

Right now, buyers of the 2020 Lamborghini Huracan Evo are paying an average of $248,000 to drive the brand-new supercar off the dealer lot. That's a hefty chunk of change, but it represents $16,269 off the car's average $264,969 retail price, according to data provided to Autoblog by Truecar. That's the largest discount in America on a new vehicle for the month of April, 2020 when judged by the dollar amount in savings off the sticker. It's not all that uncommon to see a lot of money taken off the sticker price of expensive luxury cars. This month, right behind the Lamborghini sits the 2019 BMW 8 Series with a few bucks shy of $11,000 in savings, which is hardly surprising. Though it's a very sleek and entertaining car in some of its various incarnations, it hasn't exactly proven to be a hot seller for the German automaker. The fact that there are a total of 15 (!) possible configurations probably doesn't help. Two other BMWs, the 2020 7 Series ($10,164 in savings) and the 2019 i8 ($10,145) are also on the top 10 biggest discounts list. In between that BMW sandwich are the 2019 and 2020 editions of the Acura NSX. It doesn't really matter which one a buyer chooses to drive off the lot, either way lopping off more than $10,000 off the sticker price means the electrified supercar will cost just under $150k. For a look at the best new car deals in America based on the percentage discount off their suggested asking prices, check out our monthly recap here. BMW, VW partner with ChargePoint for high-speed charging network

Thu, Jan 22 2015

To promote their plug-in electric vehicles, a number of electric vehicle makers are working overtime to get a charging infrastructure set up. Tesla is famously setting up a network of Superchargers around the world, and today BMW and VW have announced they are partnering with ChargePoint to install almost 100 DC Fast Chargers up and down the US coasts. Installing additional Level 2 chargers is also part of the plan. The new DC Fast Chargers will offer the SAE Combo connectors, which is available on both the e-Golf and the i3. The fast chargers will have "up to two 50 kW DC Fast chargers, or 24 kW DC Combo Fast chargers," BMW says. They will be installed roughly 50 miles apart between Boston and Washington, DC in the east as well as Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego in the west. The 24-kW DC Fast Chargers will fill up an empty i3 or e-Golf to 80 percent in a half-hour or 3.5-4 hours from the Level 2 cords. Speaking at an announcement ceremony at the Washington Auto Show today, ChargePoint CEO Pasquale Romano said that infrastructure investments like this will get more people to realize that they can use an electric vehicle as their only car, and Jorg Sommer, VP of product marketing and strategy for VW North America, said that it's clear that, "The EV is perfect for the daily driver." BMW, Volkswagen and ChargePoint Join Forces to Create Electric Vehicle Express Charging Corridors on the East and West Coasts. · A goal of nearly 100 DC Fast charging ports will be installed to support long distance and metropolitan electric vehicle travel with the BMW i3, Volkswagen e-Golf and other electric cars, along heavily trafficked corridors on both coasts, supported by Level 2 chargers. · These publicly available charging stations will be added to the existing ChargePoint network and can be easily accessed using a ChargePoint® or ChargeNow card. Washington, D.C., January 22, 2015 – At the 2015 Washington Auto Show, two of the top automakers, BMW of North America and Volkswagen of America, together with ChargePoint, the largest electric vehicle charging network, announced an initiative to create express charging corridors along heavily-traveled routes on the East and West Coasts.

BMW looking to save billions with cost cuts

Wed, 18 Jun 2014

BMW is planning a fairly extensive overhaul in a bid to recoup some its annual costs, with CEO Norbert Reithofer (pictured above) aiming to save three to four billion euro ($4 to $5.4 billion) per year to help keep the company's profit margins between eight and 10 percent, while also maintaining investments in production expansion and new tech. BMW's profit margins sat at 9.4 percent in 2013.
According to Automotive News Europe, Reithofer is none too pleased about costs at Mini and on the 1 Series, although neither AN nor its source story, from Germany's Manager Magazin, elaborate on what steps could be taken to improve losses on either project. That makes it hard to figure out just where the fat will be trimmed from.
What may happen, though, is that BMW attempts to trim 100 million euros ($135 million) from its German labor costs each year; a solution hinted at a few weeks ago by Germany newspaper Muenchner Merkur. While a dramatic cost reduction, 100 million euros still doesn't begin to even approach the savings envisioned by Reithofer.
