2013 Bmw M5 on 2040-cars
Palo Alto, California, United States
Looking to sell my 2013 M5. The car is in great condition. The car has 74,282 miles on the body, but has a new
engine, new turbos, and new transmission. All three parts were changed at the same time at Mountain View of BMW. I
have all the documents and receipts for the new owner. The car has been serviced by only BMW and have all the
service records.
Below is a list of what the car has.
New engine - The engine was just replaced by Mountain View BMW because of a spun bearing by the dealership
with a new factory engine. The engine comes with a 2 year unlimited miles warranty. Since the engine was replaced
by BMW you can take it any BMW dealership to have any issues sorted under the warranty.
New turbos - Along with the engine both turbos have being replaced with new factory BMW turbos and have a BMW
2 year unlimited miles warranty.
New Transmission - The old transmission was replaced with a new BMW transmission and has a 2 year unlimited
miles warranty.

Watch two championship-winning DTM cars from BMW go head-to-head
Mon, 06 May 2013BMW recently had a little fun with two of the company's past DTM champions. Roberto Ravaglia and Bruno Spengler, winners of the 1989 and 2012 championships, respectively, both showed up at the world-famous Hockenheimring with their title-winning cars. The two swapped seats, with Ravaglia taking the helm of Spengler's BMW M3 DTM racer and Spengler sliding behind the wheel of Ravaglia's first-generation M3 racer in the classic BMW Bank livery, and headed for the track. Spengler got a 23 second head start in the first-gen M3 with Ravaglia chasing behind.
It didn't take long for the older hotshoe to sort out his new ride and close the gap. The short clip below follows the two as they make their way around the circuit, but the really interesting portion comes when the pair begin discussing what they like and don't like about each other's machines. You can check out the full video below for yourself.
2014 BMW 4 Series Convertible is easy, breezy, beautiful
Wed, 20 Nov 2013BMW debuted its 2014 4 Series Convertible today at the LA Auto Show, and the sporting two-door will feature a folding hardtop - like the convertible 3 Series before it - and be offered in 428i and 435i guises.
The 428i Convertible is equipped with BMW's 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine, which pumps out 240 horsepower and 255 pound-feet of torque - good for sprinting from 0-60 miles per hour in 6.2 seconds. The 435i Convertible gets the 3.0-liter turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine, which steps up output to 300 hp and 300 lb-ft of torque. The topless 435i drops the 0-60-mph time to 5.5 seconds. Both cars come standard with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and BMW says that a manual transmission will not be offered on 4 Series Convertibles in the US market.
The 4 Series Convertible will be offered in Sport Line, Luxury Line and M Sport trims. Pricing starts at $48,750 for the 428i Convertible and $54,900 for the 435i. Head on below to peruse the (long) press release for details.
