2008 Bmw M5 Base Sedan 4-door on 2040-cars
Florence, Colorado, United States
2008 BMW M5, 7 speed auto-manual, 75k miles, black sapphire metallic over indianapolis red merino leather. This is an extremely rare combination that took a year to find before I originally purchased. I purchased this car from Tennessee. This car is in tremendous condition and thoroughly cared for; truly enthusiast owned. An unmolested, clean example. I have the original window sticker with all options and two original BMW books with navigation DVDs to go with. Interior is in like new condition. All original exterior paint, no accidents, clean carfax. All maintenance is up to date. New alternator, new tires, and fresh oil change (done every 5k miles, factory interval is too long in my opinion), new air filters, and new cabin filters. Options: rear side-impact airbags, comfort access system, hands free calling, madeira walnut wood trim, rear sunshades, heated rear seats, iPod and USB adapter, leather wrapped dash. The car will come with weather tech floor mats (car was never driven through winter), 35% tint, Lamin-X protective headlight covers, front and rear billet wheel spacers with extended lugs, LED angel eyes and LED smoked side markers. I also installed Corsa Sport mufflers ($1700). This is the best sounding muffler for this car. It isnt too loud but with the windows down you can listen to a formula 1 style sound. However, I understand it isnt everyones taste. As far as this listing is concerned, unless otherwise discussed, the car will come with stock exhaust installed. Price: $24,900.00 Price with Corsa Exhaust (will include stock mufflers as well): $25,900.00 Im looking to sell as its an extra car and Ive purchased an e30 M3 project car I need to fund. This car will be seriously missed.

Comparison test: 2019 Acura RDX vs. compact luxury SUV competitors
Fri, Jun 1 2018Truth be told, if we were to compare the all-new 2019 Acura RDX with those compact luxury crossover SUVs it would most likely be cross-shopped against, you'd be looking at a different list. Even Acura admits that Lexus and Infiniti are the most likely bogies, but with the 2019 RDX, Honda's luxury brand is attempting to attract those customers who think as much with their hearts as with their heads. And for the most part, those folks have been buying from German brands: the Audi Q5, BMW X3 and Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class. So, to show how the new RDX compares to them, Acura actually provided examples of each during the recent press drive along with a Volvo XC60. All were determined to have greater emotional appeal than the last RDX, and we would certainly agree. For, as much as the previous-generation RDX made sense on paper, it was really hard to get excited about it. And when you're paying extra for a luxury vehicle, shouldn't you get a little excited? Well, as luck would have it, Consumer Editor Jeremy Korzeniewski and I were on hand in Whistler, British Columbia, for the press launch. We didn't have an abundance of time in each RDX competitor, but in conjunction with our usual comparison chart, our impressions should provide a good first taste of how the new RDX compares. Performance and fuel economy Contributing Editor James Riswick: On paper at least, the RDX is gutsier than its comparably powered European rivals. It also weighs the same or less, which logically should mean it'll be the quickest in a straight line. During my brief drives, though, I'm not sure it really stood taller than the three Germans. It at least matches them for smoothness, which is something that can't be said about the Volvo. Fuel economy is lower than them all when you consider all but the Mercedes come standard with all-wheel drive. It's also worth noting that all the competitors are available with engine upgrades, and unless Acura's forthcoming resurrection of Type S models includes the RDX, it should stay that way. Consumer Editor Jeremy Korzeniewski: Line 'em all up in a drag race, and I have a feeling the Acura would squirt away to victory. A good bit of that, though, would be due to its 10-speed automatic transmission, which offers a huge spread of ratios and fires off extremely quick shifts. In the real world, I'd guess fuel economy will be similar across the board, so I'm willing to call that category a draw.
BMW Shanghai: Driving in mega cities, designing the future and more

The BMW enclave is a suitable mix of high-tech and throwback cool.
A few days before the Shanghai Motor Show kicked off, we were part of an international group of media that was invited to have a look at the BMW Designworks Shanghai Studio and ConnectedDrive Lab facility. The building that BMW found to house its Chinese think tank is in a lovely part of Shanghai known as the former French Concession. The late 1890s and early 1900s French architectural style, brick-paved streets and tree-lined spaces feel a world apart from the ultra-modern heart of Shanghai, and the BMW enclave is a suitable mix of high-tech and throwback cool.
Translogic 182: CXC Motion Pro II Racing Simulator
Thu, Aug 13 2015Translogic gets some seat time in the CXC Motion Pro II to test if the high fidelity racing simulator can impact our host's real-life track times. Host Jonathon Buckley hits the track at Auto Club Speedway of California in a 2015 BMW M4 to put down a baseline lap time before his virtual training session in the Motion Pro II. After learning the lines of the track in a simulated setting, Jonathon returns to the track to put his skills to the test. "We designed it, originally, as a professional training tool for race car drivers," says CXC Simulation's founder and president Chris Considine. "Make it authentic. Make it real." The Motion Pro II boasts "thousands of cars and track models," ranging from street cars, to rally and off-road vehicles. Will this hyper realistic racing simulator help Jonathon improve his lap time?
