HELLO, I HAVE FOR SALE MY 2006 E60 M5 WITH 64K ON THE CHASSIS & 11K ON THE BRAND NEW ENGINE INSTALLED BY THE DEALER. STILL HAS WARRANTY ON THE ENGINE. I BOUGHT THE CAR 2 YEARS AGO WITH LIGHT DAMAGE ON THE PASSENGER SIDE. THE CAR WAS SCRAPED AGAINST A WALL. IT WAS FULLY DRIVABLE. I HAD THE FOLLOWING PARTS REPLACED. FENDER, BOOTH DOORS, BOTH BUMPERS & REAR QUARTER PANEL REPLACED ALL OE PARTS. EVERYTHING WAS DONE AT A PROFESSIONAL CERTIFIED BODY SHOP. THE CAR HAD 51K ON IT WHEN I BOUGHT IT. A YEAR LATTER WITH 54K I HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE ENGINE. DEALER REPLACED THE ENGINE UNDER WARRANTY I HAD PURCHASED. THE BILL WAS $32K FOR THE ENGINE. DURING THE ENGINE SWAP DEALER CHECKED THE CLUTCH TO REPLACE IT & THEY TOLD ME CLUTCH LOOKS LIKE IT WAS ALREADY REPLACED. CAR IS IN MINT CONDITION NOW & HAS BEEN BABIED SINCE I HAVE OWNED IT. EVO "2012 Car of the Year: The Track Battles" is a sports car salmagundi
Sun, 25 Nov 2012EVO has come out with another gotta-watch-it video, throwing its 2012 Car of the Year contestants around the UK's 1.5-mile Blyton Park track. It's actually a 15-minute teaser for the full-length DVD detailing the magazine's Car of the Year selection, but the tease is worth every penny free second.
Tiff Needell and sports car racer Richard Meaden handle the wheel duties, the two driving five pairs of sports cars: Lotus Exige S vs. Porsche Boxster S, Morgan Three-Wheeler vs. Toyota GT86, BMW M135i vs. Porsche 911, Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series vs. Alpina B3 GT3, the marquee event pits the McLaren MP4-12C vs. the Pagani Huayra. After a head-to-head lap with commentary during drifts, Meaden takes each car out to set a representative lap time.
You'll find the verdicts, lots of tire smoke, and lines like "Anything you can do sideways I can do sideways" in the video below.
Cafe racer motorbikes storm Japan
Fri, 22 Nov 2013Japan may be best known, at least among motorcycle enthusiasts, for its sport bikes. But as we found at the Tokyo Motor Show this year, Japanese motorcycle manufacturers are capable of producing all kinds of motorbikes. And to our delight, that includes cafe racers.
Along with the myriad electric bikes, dirt bikes, crotch rockets and scooters, the halls of Tokyo's Big Site convention center this year were full of the retro-infused rides we love. Chief among them was the Bolt (shown above) which Yamaha exhibited alongside their various electric two-wheelers, sporting a delicious metallic blue paintjob, inverted handlebars and hanging mirrors, machined metal bits, blacked-out trim and saddle brown leatherwork.
Honda was also on hand with a new EX version of its '70s-style CB1100 retro roadster in sinister and low-key matte black. And this was our first chance to check out BMW Motorrad's new birthday present to its 90-year-old self, the R NineT, a model recently unveiled at the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan. But one of the most amusing retro rides we came across was the Honda Monkey Limited, a mini bike that makes the new 125cc Grom (which was displayed alongside it) look positively gigantic.
